The OPPO Reno15 Pro and iQOO 15R suit different priorities: Reno15 Pro lists a dedicated telephoto camera and a 200MP main camera, while iQOO 15R emphasizes a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform, a larger stated battery and a high-refresh display. OPPO announced India launch prices of ₹67,999 and ₹72,999; the reviewed iQOO product pages do not establish a current price, so an exact price difference cannot be confirmed from those sources.

OPPO lists a 200MP main camera with optical image stabilization, a 50MP stabilized telephoto camera and a 50MP ultrawide. iQOO 15R: main and ultrawide, without a listed telephoto
iQOO lists a 50MP Sony main camera with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide, plus a 32MP selfie camera. A telephoto camera is not identified in the reviewed specifications. That is a difference in listed lens flexibility, not proof of which phone takes better photos: megapixel counts and lens lists do not establish image quality.
Performance platforms: Dimensity 8450 vs Snapdragon 8 Gen 5
The Reno15 Pro lists MediaTek Dimensity 8450; the iQOO 15R lists Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. Those names identify different platforms, but do not by themselves show which phone is faster in everyday use, gaming, or sustained workloads. No like-for-like benchmark or thermal comparison is established here. Choose based on the broader features and independent testing relevant to your apps rather than treating the chip label as a performance verdict.

Battery capacity and charging
OPPO lists a 6,500mAh typical battery capacity and 6,345mAh rated capacity, with wired charging up to 80W. OPPO’s launch announcement separately states 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging. iQOO lists a 7,600mAh typical capacity and 100W wired charging, and advertises bypass charging. These are manufacturer specifications; they do not establish real-world runtime or a direct charging-time advantage, which can depend on use, settings and conditions.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDisplay size, resolution and refresh-rate discrepancy
OPPO lists a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate up to 120Hz. iQOO lists a smaller 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel. Its product overview advertises 144Hz, but its parameter page uses “130Hz for normal scene” in a touch/display-rate field. Because the wording and operating condition are not clear enough to reconcile, treat the iQOO refresh-rate figure as inconsistent across those official pages rather than assuming one definitive ceiling.

Software support and updates
iQOO’s product page states four Android-version upgrades and six years of security updates. The reviewed OPPO specification page identifies ColorOS 16 but does not establish an equivalent support duration. This is a difference in what these reviewed pages document, not evidence that OPPO has no update policy.

The reviewed official iQOO pages give product specifications but no current India price by storage variant. As a result, an exact current price gap—and a fair same-configuration comparison—cannot be stated. Check live listings for the same RAM and storage tier, then account separately for sale pricing, bank offers, exchange discounts, seller and stock status.
Which is better, OPPO Reno15 Pro or iQOO 15R?
There is no test-proven overall winner in the available specifications. The stronger fit depends on which listed features matter most to you:
- Investigate the Reno15 Pro if you want a dedicated telephoto lens, a higher-resolution listed main camera, a larger display, or wireless charging listed in OPPO’s launch announcement.
- Investigate the iQOO 15R if you prioritize its larger stated battery capacity, Snapdragon platform, higher refresh figure as advertised on its overview page, or an explicit update commitment.
- Compare current prices before deciding because the available iQOO official pages do not establish its India price by variant, and OPPO’s figures are launch prices.
For imported or non-India listings, verify the regional model, warranty, network compatibility and included charger before comparing either phone; specifications and retail terms can vary by market.
