Which phone is easier to carry and use?
The Reno15 Pro Mini is the compact option on paper: its display is about half an inch smaller diagonally, and its stated weight is about 12–15g lower depending on the compared colour variants. That can make it the more appealing choice for buyers who value a less bulky phone or easier one-handed handling.
The V70 FE’s 6.83-inch display gives more screen area for reading, video and games, but comes with a larger body and higher stated weight. Choose it if screen size matters more than pocketability. The display dimensions alone do not establish differences in brightness, colour accuracy or outdoor visibility.

How do their cameras differ?
Both phones list a 200MP main camera with optical image stabilization. That shared resolution is not enough to predict image quality: sensor size, lens design, stabilization, image processing and testing all matter.
OPPO: a dedicated telephoto camera
OPPO lists a 50MP telephoto camera with 2-axis OIS alongside a 50MP ultra-wide. A separate telephoto camera is distinct from digital zoom or a software zoom mode; it gives the phone dedicated hardware for tighter framing. This is the clearer hardware choice if portraits or distant subjects are a priority, though specifications alone cannot establish the resulting photo quality.

vivo: larger main-camera battery pairing, simpler listed rear setup
vivo lists a 200MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide, with no separate physical telephoto camera in the specifications. Its front camera is listed at 50MP with autofocus, as is OPPO’s; their published fields of view are 92 and 100 degrees respectively. Those numbers describe framing, not which selfies look better.

Battery, charging and performance
vivo lists a 7000mAh typical battery, compared with OPPO’s 6200mAh typical capacity (6035mAh rated). vivo also lists charging up to 90W, versus OPPO’s up to 80W. These are capacity and peak-wattage specifications, not measured battery life or charging times; real results depend on use, settings, temperature and the charger and conditions used.

The Reno15 Pro Mini uses the MediaTek Dimensity 8450, while the V70 FE uses the Dimensity 7360-Turbo. The named chipsets place OPPO higher on paper, but no directly comparable benchmark or sustained-performance result is established here. Do not treat the chipset names alone as proof of how much faster one phone will feel in a particular task.
Software support and water resistance
The V70 FE is specified with Android 16 and OriginOS 6, and vivo advertises six years of security maintenance counted from the local launch event date. The cited OPPO pages do not establish a like-for-like support duration, so the available information does not support naming a software-support winner. Check the exact software version and update terms for the India model before purchase.

OPPO’s launch announcement lists IP66, IP68 and IP69 for the Reno15 series. vivo lists IP68 and IP69 for the V70 FE and cautions that resistance to splashes, water and dust is not permanent and may diminish with daily use. Ratings are not a promise that routine immersion is safe; avoid deliberate water exposure and follow each manufacturer’s care guidance.

India price difference: what can be established?
OPPO announced India launch prices of ₹59,999 for 12GB/256GB and ₹64,999 for 12GB/512GB on 8 January 2026. OPPO said the Reno15 Pro Mini would be available from 13 January 2026. These dated figures are useful as launch-price reference points, not as verified current street prices.
The official vivo pages reviewed do not establish a current V70 FE price list. One vivo specification page describes an 8GB/128GB configuration, but that does not establish the current price or prove that it is the only India configuration. Without a verified vivo price and a matching storage tier, calculating a price gap would be misleading. Before buying, compare live India listings for the same RAM and storage configuration, seller, stock status and discount terms.
Which one should you buy?
- Choose the OPPO Reno15 Pro Mini if compact dimensions and a dedicated telephoto camera matter most, and you are comfortable with its documented launch-price reference rather than an assumed current price.
- Choose the vivo V70 FE if you want a larger display and the higher stated battery capacity, and prefer the listed 90W peak charging specification.
- Compare current prices before deciding if cost is the main factor. Use the same storage tier and verify the seller’s current India price; the available official information does not establish a current vivo price.
Neither paper specifications nor megapixel counts establish a real-world camera, battery-life or sustained-performance winner. A reliable choice on those criteria requires comparable testing.
