OPPO Reno14 Pro 5G vs Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus: Specs and India Prices

In India, these phones trade advantages rather than producing a clear overall winner. OPPO’s Reno14 Pro 5G has a slightly larger display, a documented 512GB storage option and a clearly specified triple-50MP rear camera system. Motorola’s India listing shows a lower displayed price than OPPO’s comparison-page price, while a third-party comparison lists a faster-refresh display, larger battery and newer-named chip for the Edge 70 Pro Plus. Those figures do not establish which phone takes better photos or lasts longer, and Motorola’s model naming differs across regional sources.

OPPO Reno14 Pro vs Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus: key specs

The comparison below is for India-focused shopping. OPPO identifies its phone as the Reno14 Pro 5G (CPH2739). Motorola India lists the Edge 70 Pro Plus, while 91mobiles uses “Edge 70 Pro + 5G” for its comparison entry. Motorola’s UK support page instead describes a “moto edge 70 pro”; it does not establish that the UK model is the same hardware or regional SKU as the India Plus phone. Verify the exact model number and local specification sheet before treating cross-market details as definitive.

OPPO’s specifications are from its India product pages; Motorola’s India page establishes the Plus product and its listed price, while several comparison specifications come from 91mobiles. Motorola UK’s support specifications are regional evidence, not confirmation of the India Plus model.

How the displays and processors differ

OPPO: slightly larger screen

At 6.83 inches, the Reno14 Pro is marginally larger diagonally than the 6.8-inch Motorola entry. OPPO lists a 1272 × 2800 resolution and refresh rates up to 120Hz. The Motorola comparison entry is listed at 1272 × 2772 and up to 144Hz.

#1 Best Overall
OPPO Reno14 Pro Dual-SIM 512GB ROM + 12GB RAM (GSM Only | No CDMA) Factory Unlocked 5G Smartphone (Titanium Grey) - International Version
  • 6.83 inches, AMOLED, 1B colors, 1272 x 2800 pixels
  • 512GB Storage, 12GB RAM
  • Android 15, ColorOS 15, Mediatek Dimensity 8450 (4 nm), Octa-core 3.25 GHz
  • Rear: 50 MP, f/1.8, 24mm (wide), 1/1.55", PDAF, OIS, 50 MP, f/2.8, 80mm (periscope telephoto), PDAF, OIS, 3.5x optical zoom, 50 MP, f/2.0, 16mm, 116˚ (ultrawide), AF, Front: 50 MP, f/2.0, 21mm (wide), AF

Motorola: higher listed refresh rate

A 144Hz maximum refresh rate can make supported motion look smoother, but the number alone does not prove that the panel will look better in everyday use. The two phones also use different chip names: Dimensity 8450 for OPPO and Dimensity 8500 Extreme for Motorola in the comparison listing. These labels do not, by themselves, establish a real-world speed advantage for every app or workload.

Camera hardware: similar headline resolution, different descriptions

OPPO’s official product page specifies three 50MP rear cameras: a main camera, a 3.5× optical telephoto and an autofocus ultra-wide. 91mobiles lists the Motorola comparison entry with a 50MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto offering up to 3.5× optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide macro.

Rank #2
OPPO Reno14 Pro Dual-SIM 512GB ROM + 12GB RAM (GSM Only | No CDMA) Factory Unlocked 5G Smartphone (Pearl White) - International Version
  • 6.83 inches, AMOLED, 1B colors, 1272 x 2800 pixels
  • 512GB Storage, 12GB RAM

  • Rear: 50 MP, f/1.8, 24mm (wide), 1/1.55", PDAF, OIS, 50 MP, f/2.8, 80mm (periscope telephoto), PDAF, OIS, 3.5x optical zoom, 50 MP, f/2.0, 16mm, 116˚ (ultrawide), AF, Front: 50 MP, f/2.0, 21mm (wide), AF

These specifications describe hardware, not image quality. The available sources do not provide a controlled side-by-side camera test, so they cannot establish which phone takes better photos, especially across different lighting conditions or camera modes.

Battery capacity and charging speeds

OPPO lists a typical 6200mAh battery, 80W wired SUPERVOOC charging and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging. The Motorola comparison listing gives a 6500mAh battery and 90W wired charging. Motorola UK’s Edge 70 Pro support page also lists 6500mAh and 90W TurboPower, but that does not confirm those exact specifications for the India Plus SKU.

Rank #3
OPPO Reno14 Dual-SIM 512GB ROM + 12GB RAM (GSM | CDMA) Factory Unlocked 5G Smartphone (Luminous Green) - International Version
  • 6.59 inches, AMOLED, 1B colors, 1256 x 2760 pixels
  • 512GB Storage, 12GB RAM
  • Android 15, ColorOS 15, Mediatek Dimensity 8350 (4 nm), Octa-core (1x3.35 GHz Cortex-A715 & 3x3.20 GHz Cortex-A715 & 4x2.20 GHz Cortex-A510)
  • Rear: 50 MP, f/1.8, 26mm (wide), PDAF, OIS, 50 MP, f/2.8, 80mm (telephoto), PDAF, OIS, 3.5x optical zoom, 8 MP, f/2.2, 15mm, 116˚ (ultrawide), 1/4.0", 1.12µm, AF, Front: 50 MP, f/2.0, 21mm (wide), AF

On the listed figures, Motorola has the larger battery and higher wired charging rate, while OPPO is the one with a specified wireless charging rate. Capacity and charging wattage do not settle actual battery life or charging time: the cited sources do not provide a matched battery-runtime test or comparable charging test.

India price difference: check the date and seller

Prices are snapshots, not guaranteed checkout totals. Motorola India displayed ₹47,999 for its 12GB/256GB Edge 70 Pro Plus listing, against an MRP of ₹84,999, when accessed in October 2026. On 7 October 2026, 91mobiles listed retailer prices of ₹49,889 for the OPPO and ₹48,779 for the Motorola comparison entry. The latter figures may change and are not a like-for-like checkout comparison. OPPO’s official specifications page lists storage configurations but no price.

OPPO Reno14 F Dual-SIM 256GB ROM + 8GB RAM (GSM Only | No CDMA) Factory Unlocked 5G Smartphone (Luminous Green) - International Version
  • 6.57 inches, AMOLED, 1B colors, 1080 x 2372 pixels
  • 256GB Storage, 8GB RAM, microSDXC

  • 158.1 x 75 x 7.7 mm (6.22 x 2.95 x 0.30 in)

Before buying, compare the final price for the same storage configuration, seller and offer conditions. In particular, do not assume a displayed listing price will be the price available at checkout.

Which phone should you choose?

Choose OPPO if its documented features fit your priorities

  • You want the slightly larger 6.83-inch display.
  • You value a manufacturer-listed 512GB storage option.
  • You want OPPO’s official specification for a triple-50MP rear setup, including a 3.5× optical telephoto and autofocus ultra-wide.
  • You need wireless charging, which OPPO lists at 50W AIRVOOC.

Consider Motorola if the exact India SKU and offer check out

  • The India listing price is attractive to you, after checking the seller and current checkout total.
  • You prefer the higher 144Hz refresh rate and larger listed battery, and confirm those specifications for the precise model you will buy.
  • You are comfortable checking Motorola’s India product and support information directly rather than assuming UK Edge 70 Pro details apply to the Plus model.

Neither phone can be called the better camera phone or the longer-lasting one on these specifications alone. Those decisions require evidence about real-world performance that the cited product and comparison pages do not provide.
