For the India-market 5G models, the OPPO Reno14 (CPH2737) adds a listed 50MP telephoto camera and a larger battery than the Reno13 (CPH2689). Both list the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, a 16.74cm 120Hz display and a 50MP autofocus front camera. OPPO’s official pages establish those specification differences, but they do not establish a current like-for-like price gap or prove a performance or image-quality improvement.

What changed from Reno13 to Reno14?
Reno14 adds a dedicated telephoto camera
The most notable listed rear-camera hardware change is the move from Reno13’s 2MP monochrome module to Reno14’s 50MP telephoto camera with OIS. That gives Reno14 a distinct camera option for tighter framing, portraits or more distant subjects. OPPO’s launch announcement described the Reno14 Series as having “dedicated lossless 3.5x Telephoto Zoom for enhanced portraits.” This is OPPO’s description, not an independent image-quality finding; the specification pages alone do not show how the cameras compare in real-world photos.

Reno14 lists a larger battery and 80W charging
Reno14’s listed typical capacity is 6,000mAh, compared with 5,600mAh for Reno13; rated capacities are 5,840mAh and 5,450mAh respectively. Reno14 also lists 80W SUPERVOOC, while Reno13’s specification page names supported charging protocols without giving the same wattage headline. Capacity and charging figures do not, by themselves, establish battery runtime or a real-world charging time.
Core display and chipset specifications are shared
Both phones list the Dimensity 8350, the same 16.74cm display diagonal and resolution, refresh rates up to 120Hz, and a 50MP autofocus selfie camera. These specifications do not establish a speed increase for Reno14; comparative performance would require comparable testing.

Reno14 is slightly heavier on paper
OPPO lists Reno14 at about 187g and Reno13 at about 181g, a difference of about 6g. The listed display diagonal is the same, although Reno14’s panel is described as flexible AMOLED rather than AMOLED.

Reno13 vs Reno14 price difference in India
OPPO India’s launch announcement dated 3 July 2025 listed Reno14 5G launch prices of ₹37,999 for 8GB + 128GB, ₹39,999 for 12GB + 256GB, and ₹42,999 for 12GB + 512GB. The announcement said first sales would begin on 8 July 2025 through Amazon, Flipkart, mainline retail outlets and OPPO’s e-store. A reliable current price difference between the two phones is not established here. The official specification pages list different storage tiers, so comparing whichever prices happen to appear in a shop can produce a misleading gap. To judge today’s value, check the same RAM and storage capacity, country, retailer and offer conditions for both models; do not treat a launch price or a third-party snapshot as a current like-for-like comparison.
Which phone makes more sense for you?
- Choose Reno14 if a dedicated listed telephoto camera and the larger listed battery capacity matter more to you. Its camera modules provide a different set of hardware options, but the specifications do not guarantee better photos or longer runtime.
- Consider Reno13 if it is substantially cheaper than Reno14 at the same RAM and storage capacity. The actual current price gap needs to be checked where you plan to buy.
- Do not choose based on assumed speed gains: both list the Dimensity 8350, and these specifications do not demonstrate a generational performance advantage.
- Check the exact variant: listed RAM/storage combinations differ. Confirm the model identifier and configuration in the offer before comparing prices.
