OPPO has not confirmed the Reno X, its name, or a launch plan. The latest leak describes a non-folding phone with an unusually wide 16:9 display, but earlier reports gave it a different screen shape and size. Camera details and timing are unsettled as well, so none of the figures below should be treated as final specifications.
What the latest display leak claims
A GSMArena report published October 9, 2026, attributes the newest display details to tipster Digital Chat Station: a 16:9 screen, bezels of about 1 mm on each side, a screen width of roughly 81 mm, and an overall phone width of about 85 mm. The report says the display could measure 6.5 inches. These are leak claims, not dimensions confirmed by OPPO. GSMArena

Earlier reports describe a different screen
Previous leak coverage cited a 6.3–6.4-inch, 16:10 LTPO display. Gizmochina also reported prototype claims of a 6.39-inch flat 16:10 screen with a resolution described only as “21xx×13xx”; that report said final specifications were still undetermined. Digit’s October 12, 2026 roundup relayed another configuration: a 6.35-inch 1.5K 120 Hz LTPO panel. The reports do not establish which, if any, reflects the eventual product. Gizmochina Digit
The disagreement matters because aspect ratio changes the phone’s shape and how content fits. A 16:9 screen is wider and shorter than a 16:10 screen of comparable diagonal size. Until OPPO confirms the panel, the 16:9 claim should be treated as the latest reported version—not a settled specification.

Camera leaks do not agree
Camera claims have changed across reports, and they should not be combined into a single confirmed setup.
- GSMArena’s August 19, 2026 report attributed claims of a 200 MP main camera and a periscope telephoto camera to Digital Chat Station.
- Earlier prototype reporting described three rear cameras, including a 50 MP main sensor and a periscope telephoto.
- Digit’s October 12 roundup relayed a possible 200 MP main, 50 MP ultra-wide, and 200 MP periscope arrangement.
These are separate tipster claims. The reports do not verify the sensors, their performance, or which configuration might reach a retail device. GSMArena Digit

Other rumored hardware and software
A roughly 7,000 mAh battery and a Dimensity 9-series processor recur in earlier leak accounts. Digit’s October roundup further specifies a Dimensity 9000-series chip and repeats the 7,000 mAh battery claim. It also relays possible Android 17-based ColorOS 17 software, stereo speakers, an ultrasonic fingerprint reader, and vapor cooling. None of these details is official, and the reports do not establish a final chipset model or battery capacity.

GSMArena identifies the Huawei Pura X View as a non-folding wide-screen phone with a 5:3 display and an 87 mm-wide body. The rumored Reno X measurements—an 85 mm body and 16:9 screen—would make it a related form-factor comparison, not a like-for-like confirmed spec comparison. A single GSMArena commenter wrote on October 11, 2026, “I’m about to buy Huawei X View, but I have to wait for this phone.” That is one reader’s anecdote, not evidence of broader demand or confirmation that the Reno X is coming.

Earlier leak coverage suggested the phone could arrive alongside OPPO’s Find X10 flagship family. Digit’s October report instead said it may debut in China early next year alongside a foldable. What to take away from the leaks
- The Oppo Reno X remains unannounced; even its name and launch plan are unconfirmed.
- The newest display account says 16:9 and possibly 6.5 inches, while earlier accounts describe 16:10 screens around 6.3–6.4 inches.
