Which phone is actually more compact?

If handling is decisive, compare the exact local variants in person; the V70 Elite’s India listing gives dimensions of 15.752 × 7.433 cm, thickness that varies by color, and a weight of 187g or 194g depending on color.

How do the cameras compare?
On the listed rear-camera hardware, the Reno 16 offers higher ultra-wide resolution and slightly longer telephoto reach. The V70 Elite pairs its camera hardware with ZEISS branding and portrait focal-length options described by 91mobiles. None of these details alone settles which phone produces better photographs: sensor processing, lens performance, lighting, and software all affect results.

These megapixel and zoom figures are reported by 91mobiles’ July 2026 comparison, not independent image-quality measurements. OPPO also promotes 4K Auto Straighten Video, Dual View Video 2.0, and editing tools; those are manufacturer-described features, not proof of a better video result.
When the Reno 16’s camera setup makes sense
Choose it on paper if you expect to use the ultra-wide camera regularly or value the longer listed optical reach. For remote framing while recording with the rear cameras, OPPO Bubble is an optional accessory described as compatible with Reno16-series devices. Confirm that the local phone supports it and that the required case or magnetic ring is available.

When the V70 Elite’s camera setup makes sense

The V70 Elite has the stronger listed processor and storage combination: Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 4.1 storage. The Reno 16 is listed with Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and UFS 3.1. On specifications alone, the V70 Elite is the stronger choice for buyers who place weight on chipset and storage speed, though those components do not guarantee a particular experience in every app or game.

91mobiles reported AnTuTu scores of 1,815,619 for the V70 Elite and 1,457,989 for the OPPO Reno16 5G in its 2026 comparison. These are that publisher’s reported benchmark results, not results independently run for this article. Benchmark scores can help distinguish tested configurations under a particular test, but they are not a substitute for performance across your own apps and workloads.
Battery capacity, charging, and runtime
vivo India lists the V70 Elite with a 6,500mAh typical battery and 90W charging. OPPO’s global announcement gives the Reno 16’s highest-capacity version as up to 6,700mAh typical and 6,490mAh rated, with 80W SUPERVOOC charging. OPPO cautions that battery capacity and charging specifications vary by market, so confirm the specific regional model before comparing those figures.

Capacity and charging wattage do not by themselves predict how long a phone lasts or how quickly it charges in your circumstances. 91mobiles reported PCMark battery results of 23.8 hours for Reno16 5G and 18.3 hours for V70 Elite, describing its test as measuring battery use from 100% down to 20%. Treat those as one publisher’s results under that test protocol, not a promise of everyday runtime or a universal battery-life verdict.

- A smaller screen is your leading requirement.
- You prefer the listed 50MP ultra-wide and 3.5× telephoto hardware.
- You want the option of OPPO Bubble’s rear-camera monitoring and remote shutter functions, subject to accessory compatibility and availability.
Choose the vivo V70 Elite if
- You prioritize the listed Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and UFS 4.1 combination.
- You prefer its larger display or 90W listed charging.
- The lower prices reported in the July 2026 comparison are still available for your desired configuration.
For either model, verify the model number, RAM and storage, network-band compatibility, current local price, software policy, and included charger in the market where you intend to buy.
