Choose the K15x if you want the larger screen or lower reported China launch price. These comparisons are based on China-market launch reports, not independent testing; regional availability and specifications need confirmation.
What separates the K15s and K15x?
The main trade-off is between the K15s’s reported battery capacity and sharper AMOLED display, and the K15x’s larger LCD screen and lower reported entry price. Both were reported with 45W charging. Choose the K15s if battery capacity is your priority
The K15s has the larger reported battery: 8,000mAh typical capacity versus 6,500mAh for the K15x. IT之家 also reports OPPO laboratory claims of at least 80% capacity retention after more than 2,000 simulated charge cycles for the K15s and 1,800 for the K15x. Those are manufacturer-attributed lab claims, not a promise of a particular phone’s service life.

Capacity alone cannot establish how long either phone lasts between charges. Screen settings, signal conditions, apps, and usage all affect runtime, and no independent battery-life comparison was established. Both models were reported with 45W charging, but equal stated charging power does not mean equal charging time.
Choose the K15s for a sharper AMOLED display—or the K15x for more screen area
The K15x’s reported 6.75-inch display is larger, but it is an LCD with a 1570×720 resolution. The K15s is reported with a smaller 6.57-inch AMOLED panel at 2372×1080. Both were reported at 120Hz. If you value screen size most, the K15x has the advantage on paper; if you prefer the reported display technology and resolution, the K15s is the stronger fit.

Do not choose by camera megapixels alone
Launch reports list a 50MP rear and 8MP front camera for the K15s, compared with 13MP rear and 5MP front for the K15x. Those figures describe sensor resolution, not comparative photo quality. No independent camera test was established, so the numbers alone cannot show which phone takes better pictures in daylight, at night, or in video.
Consider protection claims with care
Reports list IP69K/IP69/IP68/IP66 ratings and 15 GJB150A-2009 environmental tests for the K15s, versus IP64 for the K15x. These are reported protection ratings and testing claims, not evidence that either phone is indestructible or safe in every exposure. Check the exact model’s manufacturer documentation and warranty terms rather than treating a rating as a guarantee against damage.

Price and performance: what the reports establish
The reported China launch price started at CNY 1,399 for the K15x and CNY 1,699 for the K15s. These figures distinguish the launch configurations, not current local offers. Availability, stock, warranty, and import terms were not established outside China.
Reports name a Dimensity 6360 MAX/Max for the K15s and a Dimensity 6300 for the K15x. No benchmark comparison was established, so the chip names alone do not support a reliable performance verdict.

Check the exact regional model before buying
This comparison concerns reported China-launch models. OPPO’s global comparison catalog says specifications and features may vary by region, and its returned model roster did not include these phones. Network-band compatibility and warranty terms in other countries were not established. Reports also differ on some configuration details, so use the manufacturer’s local product page or the seller’s exact listing to verify the model, memory, storage, and specifications before purchase.
