OPPO launched the K15s and K15x in China in late September 2026. IT Home reported that sales began on September 30. The K15s is the higher-spec model, with a 6.57-inch 1080p OLED, a 50MP rear camera and an 8,000mAh battery. The K15x is the cheaper one, with a larger 6.75-inch 720p LCD and a 6,500mAh battery. Both use 120Hz panels and are reported with 45W charging. This comparison is based on published specifications and launch reports, not hands-on testing.

Specs come from IT Home and GSMArena. The sources differ on the K15x’s maximum RAM. IT Home’s itemized sale table lists only 6GB versions, while GSMArena says up to 8GB. Treat the 6GB configurations as the confirmed launch offer and check OPPO’s listing if the maximum matters to you.

China prices and the promotion
These are China-market prices in yuan, as reported by IT Home. The sale discount is a temporary ¥300 reduction scheduled for September 30 to October 31, 2026. It should not be read as a permanent price.

GSMArena’s shorthand “starting prices” of ¥1,999 for the K15s and ¥1,699 for the K15x match the list prices, not the sale prices, and it does not say which kind of price it means. A search listing for the K15s in OPPO’s China store showed ¥1,999 with a ¥1,699 checkout price for the 6GB+128GB version. That is consistent with a markdown, but store prices can change.

Which one fits which buyer
Choose the K15s if
- You want a sharper screen: 1080p OLED against 720p LCD.
- Camera hardware matters: 50MP rear and 8MP front against 13MP and 5MP.
- You want the larger battery (8,000mAh) and the stronger stated protection, including the higher IP ratings.
Choose the K15x if
- You want the lowest entry price, ¥1,699 list or ¥1,399 on promotion.
- You prefer a larger 6.75-inch display and can accept a lower resolution.
- IP64 protection is enough for you.

Battery longevity claims
IT Home relays two OPPO laboratory claims. The K15s is said to retain at least 80% capacity after more than 2,000 charge cycles, described as a simulated seven years of use. The K15x is said to retain at least 80% after 1,800 cycles, a simulated six years. These are manufacturer claims, not independent endurance tests.

Why the specs look familiar
GSMArena characterizes the K15s as a rebadged OPPO A7 Pro with the same core specifications and design. It describes the K15x as essentially an OPPO K14 with a 6,500mAh battery. That is the publication’s characterization, not an OPPO statement.
Availability outside China
Both phones are listed in OPPO’s China store. Gizmochina said on September 30, 2026 that no global availability information was available. Nothing reviewed confirms an international release, carrier compatibility or retail availability outside China.
