The OPPO K15 Pro is the more gaming-focused design on paper, with an integrated cooling fan and refresh rates up to 144Hz in some supported game scenarios. OnePlus emphasizes the N6’s larger battery and 45W charging. There is no reliable current price difference to report from the official sources reviewed: OPPO’s published information is for China, while OnePlus’s is for India, so compare local listings only after matching market, date, storage, seller, taxes, and warranty.
First, check that you are comparing phones sold in your market
The official OPPO K15 Pro pages cited here are for China; the official OnePlus N6 pages are for India. Those sources do not establish that both phones are officially available in your country, or that an imported model will have local warranty or network support. OnePlus’s official materials call its phone “OnePlus N6”; “OnePlus N6 5G” is not the model name used on the official pages cited here.

OnePlus dates the N6’s India launch to June 30, 2026. Its launch page’s references to the ₹15,000–₹20,000 segment describe that India launch context, not a verified current price. No current, matched official price pair is established for these two models, so converting currencies or comparing different storage variants would produce a misleading price difference.

These are manufacturer specifications and descriptions, not results from an independent head-to-head test. A maximum refresh rate is a supported ceiling, not a promise that every app or game will run at that rate.

Which phone is better for gaming and cooling?
OPPO K15 Pro: active fan and higher stated game refresh ceiling
OPPO presents the K15 Pro as a gaming-oriented phone, with an integrated active cooling fan and a 6.59-inch FHD+ display that can reach 144Hz in some game scenarios. OPPO names the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 SUPER chipset; its product page says chipset figures draw on MediaTek information and OPPO’s own AnTuTu tests. That is not an independent comparison against the N6, so it does not establish which phone sustains higher frame rates or performs better in a particular game.
OnePlus N6: vapor chamber and 120Hz maximum
OnePlus describes a 5,300mm² vapor chamber and gaming positioning for the N6. Its official product page lists a maximum 120Hz refresh rate and the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex chipset. Without comparable independent testing, the listed cooling hardware and chipset names are not enough to declare a performance winner.

Battery and charging: capacity is not the same as runtime
OnePlus specifies an 8,000mAh typical and 7,780mAh rated battery, with 45W charging. OPPO specifies a 7,500mAh typical and 7,265mAh rated battery, with wired charging up to 80W. These are different manufacturer specifications; capacity alone cannot predict which phone will last longer in your routine, because usage, settings, network conditions, and software also affect runtime.
OnePlus’s published runtime figures are claims from its own Test Lab, not universal expectations. OPPO’s charging figure is stated as “up to” 80W, so actual charging time may depend on conditions and compatible charging equipment.

Storage and display: check the exact variant
OPPO’s China specifications list 12GB RAM paired with either 256GB or 512GB storage. OnePlus describes 128GB built-in storage and up to 2TB of expandable capacity, while noting that configurations may vary. Before buying, confirm the precise locally sold variant rather than assuming every configuration is offered in every market.
The K15 Pro’s cited display specification is 6.59-inch FHD+, with up to 144Hz in some game scenarios. OnePlus lists up to 120Hz for the N6, but the cited specification does not establish a directly comparable screen size or resolution. Neither maximum refresh figure guarantees that all software will use it.

How to compare prices without creating a false “winner”
- Choose your market. Check whether both models are officially sold where you live; an imported China-market phone may not carry local warranty or have confirmed local network compatibility.
- Match the configuration. Compare the same RAM and storage tier where possible, and confirm whether expandable storage is included in the listing’s description.
- Use the same date and seller type. Compare current prices from equivalent authorized or retail sellers, not a launch-era segment reference against a live offer or an authorized listing against an import seller.
- Compare the full purchase terms. Account for taxes, delivery, warranty coverage, and return terms. A lower headline price may not represent the same purchase.
Until those details are matched, a numerical price difference between the China-market OPPO source and India-market OnePlus source is not meaningful.

Which one should you choose?
- Consider the OPPO K15 Pro if its integrated active fan, game-focused features, and higher stated refresh ceiling matter most—and if the China-market configuration is available to you with acceptable warranty and network support.
- Consider the OnePlus N6 if its larger stated battery capacity and 45W charging better suit your priorities, and the India-market model is available with suitable local terms.
- Do not choose on chipset names alone. The official pages do not provide a verified independent, like-for-like performance comparison.
- Choose on total local value. Confirm the exact variant, price, seller, taxes, warranty, and availability in your market before deciding.
OPPO also lists IP69/IP68/IP66 test results for the K15 Pro, with notes that the results come from controlled laboratory conditions and should not be treated as permission for routine immersion. OnePlus claims a 60-month smooth experience based on its own fluency testing and says this does not guarantee absolutely no lag; neither claim substitutes for independent testing.
