The realme P4R has the larger stated battery and faster-refreshing display; the OPPO K14x may be the better buy if its verified price is lower. Both list a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, 45W wired charging and a 50MP rear camera, so those headline specs do not separate them. This is a specification-based comparison for India, current through 5 October 2026—not a verdict from independent side-by-side testing.

OPPO’s K14x specifications and launch announcement, along with the realme P4R product page, provide the manufacturer-listed figures. They are product claims, not independent test results. The P4R’s listed battery is 1500mAh larger, and its display has a higher refresh-rate ceiling. Both displays are HD+ LCD, so the refresh-rate difference should not be mistaken for a resolution advantage.

Which phone has the better display?
On listed specifications, the P4R leads in refresh rate and peak brightness: 144Hz and up to 1200 nits, versus the K14x’s 120Hz and up to 1125 nits. A higher refresh rate can make supported motion and scrolling appear smoother, but it does not by itself establish a better overall display. Both are HD+ LCD phones, and the stated brightness figures are manufacturer specifications rather than a comparative measurement under the same conditions.

Which has better battery life and charging?
The P4R has the larger nominal capacity: 8000mAh compared with 6500mAh in the K14x. That makes it the more compelling specification for buyers prioritizing capacity, but capacity alone does not establish how long either phone lasts in everyday use. Screen settings, software, network conditions and usage also affect runtime; no independent head-to-head endurance result is established here.
#1 Best Overall
- 6.59 inches, AMOLED, 1B colors, 1256 x 2760 pixels
- 512GB Storage, 12GB RAM
- Android 15, ColorOS 15, Mediatek Dimensity 8350 (4 nm), Octa-core (1x3.35 GHz Cortex-A715 & 3x3.20 GHz Cortex-A715 & 4x2.20 GHz Cortex-A510)
- Rear: 50 MP, f/1.8, 26mm (wide), PDAF, OIS, 50 MP, f/2.8, 80mm (telephoto), PDAF, OIS, 3.5x optical zoom, 8 MP, f/2.2, 15mm, 116˚ (ultrawide), 1/4.0", 1.12µm, AF, Front: 50 MP, f/2.0, 21mm (wide), AF
Both models list 45W wired charging. The matching wattage does not prove equal charging time. Check the charger-in-box terms for the exact Indian SKU, and look for tests using comparable conditions if charging speed is decisive.
Performance, cameras and durability
Performance
Both phones list the MediaTek Dimensity 6300. That shared chipset name is not enough to establish identical performance: the available specifications do not show whether tuning or sustained performance is the same, and no independent benchmark comparison is established here.
Rank #2
- 6.83 inches, AMOLED, 1B colors, 1272 x 2800 pixels
- 512GB Storage, 12GB RAM
- Android 15, ColorOS 15, Mediatek Dimensity 8450 (4 nm), Octa-core 3.25 GHz
- Rear: 50 MP, f/1.8, 24mm (wide), 1/1.55", PDAF, OIS, 50 MP, f/2.8, 80mm (periscope telephoto), PDAF, OIS, 3.5x optical zoom, 50 MP, f/2.0, 16mm, 116˚ (ultrawide), AF, Front: 50 MP, f/2.0, 21mm (wide), AF
Cameras
Each has a 50MP rear-camera headline; realme describes its camera as an AI camera. Megapixel count does not settle image quality, which also depends on the sensor, optics, processing and shooting conditions. The official excerpts available for this comparison do not establish either phone’s front-camera specification, so there is no verified basis here for naming a selfie-camera winner.
Durability
OPPO states an IP64 rating for the K14x. realme’s product page promotes military-grade shock resistance, while a secondary retailer listing reports IP64 for the P4R. These descriptions are not interchangeable proof of equivalent protection. Check the official specification sheet for the exact regional variant before relying on a rating.

Software
OPPO named ColorOS 15 in its launch announcement; realme’s product page lists realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16. Published software details and update commitments can change, so verify the version and support terms for the handset being sold.
OPPO K14x vs realme P4R price in India
There is no reliable like-for-like current price difference in the available figures: they refer to different dates and evidence types.

Mint also reported a ₹2,000 bank discount during the P4R launch period; that was a time-limited launch offer, not a standing discount. The figures above should not be subtracted from one another as if they were same-day prices for matching configurations. Before buying, compare the same RAM and storage tier, seller, delivery region, bank or exchange offer, and checkout total on the same date. The P4R figures are reported by Mint and Gadgets 360; the K14x figure is a low-confidence 91mobiles comparison listing.
Which should you choose?
Choose the realme P4R if
- You prioritize the larger stated battery capacity.
- You want the higher listed display refresh rate.
- A same-day price for the configuration you want fits your budget.
Choose the OPPO K14x if
- A verified live price makes it materially cheaper than a comparable P4R configuration.
- You prefer OPPO’s local support or ColorOS experience.
For either phone, consider real-world battery reviews, camera samples, sustained-performance testing, update commitments, weight and handling, and service coverage in your area. The published specifications alone do not establish a winner for those factors.
