Which phone has the better display?
On published resolution and panel type, the Galaxy M47 5G is the clear choice: its FHD+ Super AMOLED panel has 2340 × 1080 pixels, compared with the K14 5G’s HD+ LCD at 1570 × 720. Both list a maximum 120Hz refresh rate, so that specification alone does not distinguish them. Resolution and panel type do not establish brightness, color accuracy, or outdoor visibility under real-world conditions.

Which has the bigger battery, and what does that tell you?
OPPO lists a 7000mAh typical battery for the K14 5G, alongside a rated capacity of 6830mAh. Samsung lists 6000mAh typical capacity for the M47 5G. These figures establish that the K14 has the higher nominal capacity; they do not prove longer battery life, because runtime also depends on the display, software, network conditions, and workload. No independent comparative battery test is established here.
Both manufacturers list charging up to 45W, but the charging names and protocols differ, so the wattage figures do not mean the phones or chargers are interchangeable. Samsung says the fast charger is sold separately. OPPO’s specification page lists a charger and protective case in the box, subject to market variation; check the exact Indian retail package before purchase.

Camera hardware: what the specifications do and do not show
The M47 5G lists three rear camera modules (50MP, 5MP and 2MP) and rear-camera OIS. The K14 5G lists a 50MP main camera and a 2MP monochrome sensor. Samsung also lists a 12MP front camera, versus 8MP on the OPPO. More modules or more megapixels do not by themselves establish better photos or video; comparable independent camera testing would be needed to declare a winner.
Software support and long-term ownership
Samsung states that the Galaxy M47 5G receives six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates from its first global launch, while noting that the policy may change. OPPO’s cited K14 5G specification page lists ColorOS 15.0 but does not establish an equivalent support duration. That is a difference in what these cited pages document, not proof that OPPO provides no updates.

Price difference in India: launch prices versus current listings
There is no reliable current like-for-like price difference established by the available manufacturer pages. OPPO’s historical launch announcement listed these prices, with sales beginning 20 March 2026 via OPPO’s e-store and Flipkart:

These are announced launch prices, not verified current prices. On the research date, 7 October 2026, OPPO’s India product/store page displayed ₹25,999 for 6GB/128GB and ₹28,999 for both 6GB/256GB and 8GB/256GB. Those page figures differ from the launch announcement and are not a normalized street-price comparison; confirm the variant and final checkout price. Samsung’s India product page identifies the M47 5G and gives its launch date as 29 June 2026, but its price fields did not provide a usable figure for comparison.

The chipset names and camera specifications do not establish which phone is faster or takes better pictures in practice. Choose between those priorities only if independent, comparable testing is available to support a performance or image-quality verdict.
