Which is better for gaming?
OPPO has the gaming-specific hardware
The K13 Turbo combines a Dimensity 8450 platform with a built-in active cooling fan, making it the more explicitly gaming-oriented design of the two. OPPO says its Storm Engine improves overall thermal dissipation by 20% when active; that is an OPPO Lab claim, with no year stated on the current product page, and OPPO says actual experience may vary.
What the specifications do not prove
The processor and cooling design make OPPO the more compelling paper choice for sustained gaming, but they do not establish that it delivers higher frame rates or stays cooler in every game. There is no independent head-to-head test here. Game support, graphics settings, ambient temperature and session length can all affect results.

Which phone has the better camera setup?
On listed hardware, vivo gives you more rear-camera flexibility: its 50MP main camera is specified with optical image stabilisation (OIS), and it adds an 8MP ultrawide. OPPO lists a 50MP wide camera and a 2MP monochrome camera. The vivo also lists a higher-resolution 32MP front camera, compared with OPPO’s 16MP front camera.
These specifications describe the available camera types and resolutions, not which phone takes better photos or video. Megapixels and OIS alone do not establish image quality; results depend on processing and shooting conditions.
Battery capacity and charging: what the numbers mean
vivo lists a 7050mAh typical battery, slightly larger than OPPO’s 7000mAh typical figure. Both companies also publish lower rated capacities: 6850mAh for vivo and 6830mAh for OPPO. These are manufacturer capacity specifications, not independent endurance results, so they do not show which phone lasts longer in everyday use.

OPPO advertises up to 80W SUPERVOOC charging, versus vivo’s up to 44W FlashCharge. The wattage is a maximum, not a guaranteed charging speed or time; OPPO says actual charging power may vary, and vivo says it varies by scenario. The figures alone do not establish how long either phone takes to charge.
Display and day-to-day handling
Both phones are listed with AMOLED panels, similar pixel dimensions and refresh rates of up to 120Hz. OPPO specifies a flat 6.8-inch screen, while vivo’s product and store materials describe a curved 6.83-inch display. The flat-versus-curved difference may matter when choosing how the phone feels in hand or how its edges look, but confirm the exact retail unit before buying.
“Up to 120Hz” is a maximum specification, not a guarantee that every app or screen will run at that rate. Refresh behavior depends on supported apps and modes.

What is the price difference in India?
The vivo official store displayed ₹34,999 for the selected 6GB+128GB T5 listing during research. Treat that as a dated store snapshot, not a guaranteed current street price. The reviewed OPPO official-store event page did not establish a current price for a comparable K13 Turbo configuration, so a precise price difference cannot be calculated responsibly.

For a fair comparison, check the same RAM and storage tier on both official stores and compare the final payable amount. Bank offers, exchange discounts, included charger, warranty terms and stock can change the effective deal; do not compare a discounted price for one configuration with the listed price of another.
Important vivo T5 specification discrepancy
vivo’s official product overview and e-store describe the T5 5G as having a Dimensity 7500 Turbo processor, an AMOLED display and a 7050mAh typical battery. However, vivo’s official parameter page conflicts with that information: its current listing/search result says Dimensity 7400-Turbo, LCD and 7200mAh. vivo cautions on that parameter page that specifications can change with processes, measurement methods, materials or production batches, and that descriptions may be updated without notice. Check the exact India retail SKU and its current listing before purchase; this comparison uses the product overview and store details.
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the OPPO K13 Turbo 5G if a built-in cooling fan and gaming-focused hardware are your priorities, and you prefer a flat display. Its gaming advantage remains a specification-based assessment rather than an independently verified performance result.
- Choose the vivo T5 5G if you want the listed OIS main camera plus an ultrawide, a larger typical battery figure, or a curved display. Verify its exact specifications against the retail SKU because vivo’s official pages conflict.
- Wait to decide on price until you can compare current prices for matching RAM/storage tiers. The available official-store price snapshot is not enough to establish which is better value today.
Both manufacturers publish water and dust resistance ratings, but neither phone should be described as waterproof. vivo explicitly says resistance is not permanent and liquid damage is not covered under warranty. Follow each manufacturer’s current care and warranty terms.
