OPPO announced these prices for India on May 21, 2026. The entry-price comparison is not storage-for-storage: the Ultra’s base configuration has twice the storage of the X9s base model.

Camera: 10× optical reach is the Ultra’s clearest advantage
Find X9s
The X9s has three 50MP rear cameras, including a 3× periscope telephoto. OPPO also advertises up to 120× Super Zoom, but a digital zoom figure does not establish how much usable detail a shot will retain. Its detailed India specifications list video recording up to 4K at 60fps. OPPO’s Find X9s specifications provide further India-specific details.
Find X9 Ultra
The Ultra adds dedicated 200MP main and 3× telephoto cameras, along with a 50MP 10× optical telephoto. OPPO states a combined equivalent focal range of 14–460mm and lists 8K video at 30fps. The 10× optical module is the most meaningful hardware difference for distant subjects; specifications alone do not establish that every zoom level will produce equally detailed results.

The Ultra’s 6.82-inch QHD+ adaptive 144Hz display is larger, sharper on paper and has a higher maximum refresh rate than the X9s’s 6.59-inch FHD+ 120Hz panel. It is also the larger and heavier phone: 236g versus 202g, a 34g difference. The Ultra’s extra screen area and camera hardware come with a bulkier body; the X9s is the more manageable choice if lower weight matters. At 202g, the X9s is still not an unusually light phone.

Performance, battery and charging
Processing
OPPO specifies a MediaTek Dimensity 9500s in the X9s and a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 in the Ultra. Those model names indicate different hardware tiers, but they do not by themselves quantify real-world speed. No matched benchmark comparison between these two phones is established, so avoid treating the chipset difference as a specific performance percentage.
Battery and charging
The rated capacities are close: 7,025mAh for the X9s and 7,050mAh for the Ultra. Those figures do not establish which phone lasts longer in use. Charging is a clearer specification difference: the X9s supports 80W wired charging, while the Ultra lists 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Choose the Find X9s if
- You want a substantially lower India launch price, especially at 12GB/256GB.
- You prefer the smaller, 34g-lighter body.
- A 3× periscope telephoto is enough for the kinds of subjects you photograph.
Choose the Find X9 Ultra if
- You specifically want a 10× optical telephoto and the Ultra’s additional camera hardware.
- You value a larger QHD+ screen with adaptive 144Hz refresh rate.
- 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging matter to you.
- The higher-tier processor is a priority, while recognizing that the listed specs do not supply a direct benchmark comparison.
Before ordering, confirm the current price, exact storage configuration, seller, local warranty and network-band compatibility. Prices outside India
Prices and availability differ by country. A TechRadar review published in April 2026 reported a UK price of £1,449 for the Ultra 12GB/512GB and availability from May 8, 2026; it also said the phone was not available in the US at review time. Those are dated market observations, not current global prices. Check local listings for up-to-date availability and warranty terms.
