Oppo Find X9 Pro vs. Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: Which Flagship Fits You?

There is no single winner between the Oppo Find X9 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. Choose the Find X9 Pro if your priorities are a very high-resolution 3x telephoto camera, a much larger stated battery, faster specified wired and wireless charging, close-focusing telephoto work, or an optional 10x optical teleconverter. Choose the Galaxy S26 Ultra if you want separate 3x and 5x telephoto cameras, Samsung’s built-in Privacy Display, a 6.9-inch QHD+ screen, 8K recording, and the Galaxy software ecosystem.

This comparison is specifically about the Oppo Find X9 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. They are not the same products as the Oppo Find X9 Ultra and any regional Find X9 Ultra launch pricing or retailer information should not be applied to the Pro model. The camera, battery, charging and durability figures below are specifications or claims from Oppo and Samsung, not results from a controlled head-to-head test.

Oppo Find X9 Pro and Galaxy S26 Ultra: what is being compared?

Oppo’s Find X9 Pro is the Pro flagship in the Find X9 family. Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra is the current Ultra model announced by Samsung in February 2026. Oppo also announced a separate Find X9 Ultra in 2026, so check the model name carefully when reading listings, cases and reviews.

The two phones take different approaches. Oppo concentrates an unusually high-resolution sensor and Hasselblad branding into a 3x telephoto system, then uses cropping and software to extend that range. Samsung uses two dedicated telephoto cameras at 3x and 5x, with optical-quality intermediate positions. The stated battery capacities also differ substantially, while Samsung adds a hardware privacy feature that Oppo does not list for the Find X9 Pro.

Camera comparison: two different zoom philosophies

Find X9 Pro: one very high-resolution 3x telephoto

Oppo lists a 200MP Hasselblad 3x telephoto for the Find X9 Pro. The sensor is specified as 1/1.56-inch with an f/2.1 aperture and a 10cm minimum focus distance. A close-focus distance of 10cm can be useful for detailed subjects that are too far away for a conventional portrait lens but not large enough for a standard wide camera.

Oppo says the phone can crop that sensor for up to 13.2x lossless zoom. “Lossless” here describes the company’s use of the sensor’s resolution and cropping; it does not mean the phone has a separate 13.2x optical lens. Oppo also claims that its Super Zoom algorithm can enhance images up to 120x. That is computational enhancement, so it should not be treated as equivalent to optical detail.

An optional Hasselblad Teleconverter is designed exclusively for the Find X9 Pro and is described by Oppo as providing 10x optical super-zoom. The accessory is a separate purchase. Current stock, regional availability, warranty terms and exact compatibility should be checked locally before buying.

Galaxy S26 Ultra: dedicated 3x and 5x telephotos

Samsung lists two separate telephoto cameras: a 10MP 3x unit and a 50MP 5x unit. This gives the phone dedicated optical positions at both 3x and 5x rather than relying on a single telephoto sensor for the entire range. Samsung also lists 2x and 10x optical-quality zoom and up to 100x digital zoom.

“Optical-quality” is not the same term as “optical.” Samsung’s 3x and 5x figures refer to the phone’s optical telephoto positions. The 2x and 10x positions are described as optical-quality, which indicates processing intended to approximate optical results. The 100x setting is digital zoom and should be considered an extended-reach mode rather than a guarantee of fine detail.

What the zoom numbers mean in practice

If you frequently photograph… More relevant specification Why it matters
Portraits at a few metres Both phones have a stated 3x option Framing at 3x can keep you farther from a subject than a main camera while avoiding the extreme compression of a much longer lens.
Subjects between 3x and 5x Galaxy S26 Ultra’s dedicated 5x camera A native 5x camera gives Samsung a separate optical position for distant subjects; Oppo’s system uses cropping and processing beyond its 3x lens.
Small close subjects Find X9 Pro’s 10cm minimum focus distance on the telephoto The stated close-focus capability may help with details, textures and small objects without switching to an ultrawide macro mode.
Very distant subjects Find X9 Pro’s optional 10x teleconverter or Samsung’s 10x optical-quality mode The Oppo accessory is an additional optical component; Samsung’s 10x mode is a processed optical-quality setting. Neither description is an independent image-quality test.

Which phone suits portraits, macro work, concerts and video?

Portraits

Both models provide a stated 3x perspective, which is a useful starting point for head-and-shoulder portraits when you want some working distance. The Find X9 Pro’s 200MP telephoto offers substantial cropping latitude according to Oppo, while Samsung’s separate 3x camera is a conventional dedicated telephoto specification. The available manufacturer information does not establish which produces better skin texture, edge separation or low-light portraits.

  • 163.2 x 77.0 x 8.7 mm or 9.1 mm

Close-up and detail photography

The Find X9 Pro has the clearer hardware specification for close focusing: Oppo lists a 10cm minimum focus distance for its 200MP telephoto. That can be useful for flowers, food, product details and textures. Samsung’s cited specifications do not state an equivalent minimum focus distance, so a direct macro winner cannot be declared from these figures.

Concerts, sports and distant subjects

Samsung’s 5x telephoto gives it a dedicated optical position for subjects that appear small at 3x. The Find X9 Pro can crop its 200MP sensor to 13.2x lossless zoom and optionally add a 10x optical teleconverter, but those are different configurations. For a fair decision, consider whether you are willing to carry and buy the teleconverter or whether you want the longer focal length built into the phone.

Video recording

Oppo lists 4K at 120 frames per second with Dolby Vision HDR on both the main camera and the 200MP telephoto. Samsung lists 4K 120fps Pro Video and 8K at 30fps. The modes are not directly interchangeable: Oppo’s specification highlights Dolby Vision HDR availability on two cameras, while Samsung highlights a Pro Video mode and a higher-resolution 8K option. Storage requirements, heat, stabilization and image quality at each setting are not established by these specifications.

Battery capacity and charging

Stated capacities

Oppo lists a 7,500mAh battery for the Find X9 Pro. Samsung lists 5,000mAh for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The numbers are manufacturer-stated capacities from different products and release years.

A larger capacity does not prove longer runtime. Screen brightness, processor load, modem reception, camera use, refresh rate, software tuning and battery chemistry all affect endurance. No same-condition independent battery test is established here, so it would be misleading to name either phone the battery-life winner solely from capacity.

Charging specifications

Charging type Find X9 Pro Galaxy S26 Ultra
Wired 80W SUPERVOOC Super-Fast Charging 3.0; Samsung states up to 75% in 30 minutes under its described conditions
Wireless 50W AIRVOOC Specific wattage not stated in the cited Samsung specification
Reverse wireless 10W Not stated in the cited Samsung specification

The Find X9 Pro’s wattage figures describe compatible Oppo charging systems, while Samsung’s percentage claim depends on the charger, cable, temperature, starting charge and other conditions Samsung used. Treat “up to 75% in 30 minutes” as a stated result, not a guaranteed result for every setup. Use the approved charger and cable for the best chance of reaching the advertised behavior.

Displays and the Privacy Display decision

Galaxy S26 Ultra display

Samsung specifies a 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with an adaptive 1–120Hz refresh rate. Samsung notes that the rounded-corner measurement is 6.7 inches. The adaptive range allows the panel to operate at different refresh rates instead of remaining at 120Hz constantly.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra also includes a built-in Privacy Display. Samsung presents this as a feature intended to limit what people beside you can see. It is especially relevant if you read messages, work with confidential documents or use financial apps in public or shared spaces. The available information is Samsung’s product description, not an independent assessment of viewing angles, brightness impact or usability.

Find X9 Pro display

Oppo lists a 120Hz display with up to 3,600 nits peak outdoor brightness and a 1-nit minimum brightness. Peak brightness figures are normally achieved only in particular display areas and conditions, so they should not be interpreted as a sustained full-screen brightness measurement. The cited Oppo specification does not provide a display size or resolution for the Find X9 Pro, preventing a direct panel-size or pixel-count comparison.

Performance, software and storage

Processing hardware

Samsung lists Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy in the S26 Ultra. The cited Oppo material does not identify the Find X9 Pro processor. Without matching benchmark results, thermal tests or confirmed regional configurations, the specifications alone cannot establish which phone is faster for games, photo processing or multitasking.

Operating systems and AI positioning

The Find X9 Pro runs ColorOS 16. Samsung’s announcement positions Galaxy S26 AI as working “effortlessly” in the background, in the words of TM Roh, Samsung’s Chief Executive Officer, President and Head of Device eXperience Division. That is Samsung’s positioning statement, not an independent measurement of AI usefulness. Check the exact AI functions, language support, account requirements and update policy in your country before purchasing.

Storage choices

Samsung lists 256GB, 512GB and 1TB configurations, with the available combination depending on memory configuration and market. Oppo’s cited specification does not state Find X9 Pro storage tiers. If you record 4K 120fps or 8K video, storage capacity deserves particular attention because high-frame-rate and high-resolution files consume space quickly.

Durability and physical considerations

Oppo lists IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings for the Find X9 Pro. Samsung lists IP68 for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. These ratings describe laboratory-tested resistance categories, not immunity from every liquid, pressure washer, drop or repair-related failure. Keep ports dry before charging and follow each manufacturer’s warranty exclusions.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Samsung lists the Galaxy S26 Ultra at 214g. Oppo’s cited Find X9 Pro specification does not state a weight, dimensions or thickness, so the article cannot make a fair in-hand size comparison. Verify the local product page if weight, pocketability or case size is decisive for you.

Price, availability, warranty and network support

Neither manufacturer figure set here establishes a universal launch price for both phones. Oppo directs buyers to its local website for pricing and availability. Samsung’s storage and configuration options can vary by market. Taxes, promotions, trade-in credits, carrier versions and warranty coverage can change the effective price substantially.

Do not transfer Singapore pricing or retailer information published for the Find X9 Ultra to the Find X9 Pro. Confirm all of the following in your country before placing an order:

  • The exact model name and model number, including whether the listing says Find X9 Pro rather than Find X9 Ultra.
  • Supported 4G and 5G bands for your carrier.
  • Local warranty terms, authorized repair coverage and the seller’s return window.
  • Whether the charger, wireless charging accessory or teleconverter is included or sold separately.
  • Storage, memory and color options for that market.
  • Delivery date and whether the device is an imported regional variant.

How to choose between them

Choose the Find X9 Pro when these priorities dominate

  • You want a 200MP 3x Hasselblad telephoto with a stated 10cm minimum focus distance.
  • You prefer the option of a model-specific 10x optical teleconverter.
  • You value the larger stated 7,500mAh capacity, while understanding it is not a runtime test.
  • You want 80W wired, 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless charging specifications.
  • You plan to record 4K 120fps Dolby Vision HDR on the main camera or telephoto.
  • You need the listed IP66/IP68/IP69 protection ratings and ColorOS 16.

Choose the Galaxy S26 Ultra when these priorities dominate

  • You want separate 3x and 5x telephoto cameras rather than one 3x camera extended by cropping.
  • You regularly frame distant subjects around the phone’s native 5x optical position.
  • A 6.9-inch QHD+ 1–120Hz display is important to you.
  • You expect to use Samsung’s built-in Privacy Display in public or shared spaces.
  • You want Samsung’s listed 4K 120fps Pro Video and 8K 30fps modes.
  • You need a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy configuration and up to 1TB storage, subject to local availability.
  • You prefer the Galaxy software and AI feature set available in your region.

Use this five-step buying check

  1. Confirm the model. Read the full listing title and product code so an Oppo Find X9 Ultra is not substituted for the Find X9 Pro.
  2. Check your camera range. Decide whether you use 3x portraits, 5x subjects, close-focus details or extreme zoom most often. Match that habit to the hardware described above.
  3. Check charging equipment. Confirm whether the required wired charger, wireless pad or Find X9 Pro teleconverter is included, compatible and covered by local warranty.
  4. Check regional support. Verify network bands, eSIM or SIM configuration, software language, payment services and repair centers for your country.
  5. Compare the complete cost. Include storage tier, accessories, taxes, insurance and the seller’s return policy rather than comparing headline phone prices alone.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Calling every zoom number optical. The Find X9 Pro’s 13.2x figure comes from sensor cropping, its 120x figure comes from Super Zoom processing, and Samsung distinguishes optical, optical-quality and digital zoom.
  • Turning capacity into a battery-life verdict. The 7,500mAh and 5,000mAh figures do not replace a controlled runtime test.
  • Treating charging claims as universal. Oppo’s wattage requires compatible equipment, while Samsung’s 75%-in-30-minutes statement is conditional.
  • Assuming peak brightness is sustained brightness. Oppo’s 3,600-nit figure is a peak outdoor specification under particular conditions.
  • Applying one market’s availability to another. Storage, prices, retailers, warranty and carrier support require local verification.
  • Assuming vendor positioning proves performance. Statements about AI, imaging or zoom are product claims unless supported by independent testing.

Verdict: which flagship fits you?

The Oppo Find X9 Pro is the more distinctive choice for a camera-and-charging-focused buyer: its stated 200MP 3x telephoto, 10cm focus distance, optional 10x optical teleconverter, 7,500mAh battery and 80W/50W charging specifications form a clear hardware proposition. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is the more straightforward fit for someone who wants two built-in telephoto positions, a large QHD+ display, Privacy Display, Samsung’s listed Pro Video and 8K modes, and the Galaxy platform.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Because no same-condition camera or battery testing is established here, the responsible final choice is based on these feature priorities and your local purchase conditions. Verify the exact regional model, price, warranty, charger and network compatibility before buying.
