| Battery capacity and charging speed | Find N6 | Android Central reports 6,000mAh, 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. Fold7 is listed at 4,400mAh, with 25W wired and 15W wireless figures in Samsung’s comparison table. |
| Long-term software support | Galaxy Z Fold7 | Samsung documents seven years of OS and security updates; Android Central reports four years of OS upgrades for Find N6. |
| Pen input | Find N6 | Android Central reports support for OPPO AI Pen; Samsung’s official sheet says Fold7 does not support S Pen. |

| Ingress-protection rating | Find N6 on paper | Android Central reports IP58/IP59 versus Samsung’s IP48 rating, but neither rating makes a phone damage-proof. |
These are decision points, not laboratory winners. Battery capacity does not guarantee longer runtime, megapixels do not determine camera quality, and an IP code describes defined test conditions rather than every real-world accident.
Availability determines whether the comparison is practical
Galaxy Z Fold7 distribution
Samsung announced Galaxy Z Fold7 global availability beginning July 25, 2025. Actual storage options, cellular bands, pricing, taxes, and warranty terms still vary by country. Buy from an authorized seller in your market when possible so replacement parts, repairs, software updates, and consumer protections are clear.

Find N6 regional limits
OPPO’s global comparison page currently lists Find N6 in the Find N family: OPPO Global comparison. However, the 2026 Android Central matchup reports that Find N6 is not launching outside Asia. That makes country-specific verification the first buying step, not a footnote.
In a market without an official launch, an imported Find N6 may lack local warranty coverage, compatible network bands, contactless-payment certification, region-specific firmware, or a repair route. A lower import price can disappear after shipping, taxes, conversion fees, and a screen or hinge repair. Do not treat a gray-market listing as equivalent to an officially supported Fold7.
Check these details before paying
- Find the exact model number and storage configuration, not just the family name.
- Confirm that the manufacturer lists the model for your country or carrier.
- Ask the seller who handles warranty claims and where repairs are performed.
- Check supported 4G and 5G bands against your network.
- Verify charger type, plug standard, language options, payment services, and return rights.
Size, weight, and the two-screen experience
What the documented measurements say
Samsung’s Fold7 specification sheet, marked current as of July 9, 2025, lists a 215g phone with an 8.0-inch inner Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and a 6.5-inch cover Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, both specified at 120Hz. Android Central reports Find N6 at 225g, with an 8.12-inch inner OLED display and a 6.62-inch outer OLED display, also at 120Hz.
The ten-gram difference is measurable but not decisive by itself. A foldable’s hinge shape, thickness, cover-screen aspect ratio, case, and how often you open it affect comfort more than a specification-table number. If you carry the phone all day, Fold7 has the lighter starting point. If you read comics, edit documents, or run two apps side by side, Find N6’s reported larger panels may be attractive.
Test the cover screen, not only the unfolded panel
Most quick tasks happen while the phone is closed: calls, two-factor codes, maps, messages, music controls, and camera framing. Before buying, type a full message on the outer screen, open your banking and work apps, and check whether the aspect ratio causes awkward letterboxing or oversized controls. A slightly larger cover display is useful only if your apps scale well and the keyboard feels comfortable.

- Unlocked for freedom to choose your carrier. Compatible with both GSM & CDMA networks. The phone is unlocked to work with all GSM Carriers & CDMA Carriers Including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint., Etc.
What to inspect on the inner screen
- Run your most-used productivity, streaming, reading, and social apps in split-screen and full-screen modes.
- Look at text scaling and keyboard placement at your normal brightness.
- View the crease from straight on and at an angle; visibility depends on lighting and viewing position.
- Check whether your preferred case leaves enough clearance around the hinge and inner screen protector.
Battery and charging: capacity is not the same as endurance
Find N6’s reported advantage
Android Central reports a 6,000mAh Find N6 battery, 80W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging. Those numbers give OPPO a substantial paper advantage for capacity and charging speed. They are secondary-source figures, so verify them against the official OPPO specification sheet for your region before relying on them.
Fold7’s documented configuration
Samsung lists a 4,400mAh battery for Galaxy Z Fold7. Its comparison table reports 25W wired and 15W wireless charging, while the main specification sheet describes wired charging as “Super Fast Charging.” Charger compatibility and charging speed can vary by regional package and accessory, so check what is included in the box.
How to make a fair battery decision
Do not convert the capacity gap directly into a promised number of hours. Screen brightness, 5G reception, camera use, gaming, multitasking, ambient temperature, and battery-health settings can outweigh several hundred milliamp-hours. Look for independent tests of the exact software version and regional model, then compare your own charging habits:
- If you frequently top up during short breaks, faster wired charging may matter more than maximum capacity.
- If you spend long periods away from outlets, the reported Find N6 capacity is the more reassuring specification.
- If you already own Qi chargers or a Samsung accessory ecosystem, check wireless-charging alignment and practical speeds rather than relying only on the headline wattage.
Durability and water or dust resistance
What the IP codes mean
Samsung’s official sheet lists Fold7 as IP48 water resistant. Android Central reports IP58/IP59 for Find N6. The first digit concerns protection from solid particles and the second concerns water exposure under defined test conditions. The codes do not promise protection from drops, pressure on the inner screen, salt water, chemicals, sand in the hinge, or wear over time.
Neither phone should be described as waterproof. Keep both away from swimming pools and seawater, dry them before charging, and follow the manufacturer’s liquid-damage exclusions. A higher rating can improve your margin for a specific splash or dust event, but it is not a blanket durability verdict.

Do not transfer an older OPPO fold-test claim
OPPO’s October 2023 Find N3 launch announcement says that the older Find N3 underwent a TÜV Rheinland fold test and reports one million folds: OPPO Find N3 launch announcement. That is a vendor-reported figure for Find N3, not evidence of Find N6’s tested lifespan. It should not be used to claim that every Find N model survives one million folds.

Find N6: reported AI Pen support
Android Central reports that Find N6 supports OPPO AI Pen. Confirm whether the pen is included, sold separately, compatible with the exact regional model, and supported by the note and drawing apps you use. Also check replacement-tip availability and how the stylus is carried; a compatible pen is less useful if it is easy to leave behind.
Fold7: no S Pen support
Samsung’s Fold7 specification sheet explicitly says the phone does not support S Pen. If handwritten notes, annotation, or pressure-sensitive drawing is a requirement, remove Fold7 from your shortlist rather than assuming a previous Galaxy Z Fold accessory will work.
DeX and long-term work use
Samsung lists DeX support, allowing a compatible external display and peripherals to provide a desktop-style interface. That can matter for office documents, browser sessions, file management, and presentations. Confirm your monitor, dock, keyboard, corporate security policy, and app licensing before making DeX the reason to switch.
Android Central reports four years of OS upgrades for Find N6. Samsung documents seven years of OS and security updates for Fold7. These commitments are more important than the Android version installed on day one: a foldable that remains patched and compatible for longer can be easier to keep in service.

Cameras and performance: avoid spec-sheet shortcuts
Reported hardware
Android Central reports that Find N6 uses a newer chip and a 200MP main camera. Samsung lists a Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy and a 200MP main camera for Fold7. The shared megapixel figure does not establish equal image quality. Lens design, stabilization, image processing, thermal behavior, and the camera app all affect results.
What to compare in real use
- Photograph moving people indoors and outdoors, not only static daylight scenes.
- Check skin tones, HDR highlights, night detail, shutter lag, and video stabilization.
- Test the inner and cover-screen cameras for video calls and selfies.
- Run demanding games or exports for 20 to 30 minutes and watch for heat or performance reduction.
- Compare storage options before purchase; high-resolution photos and foldable multitasking can consume space quickly.
No independent camera or sustained-performance result is established by the cited sources, so treat both chip and camera claims as hardware descriptions rather than proof that one phone photographs or runs games better.
Software support, updates, and ecosystem fit
Fold7’s documented commitment
Samsung’s specification sheet states Android 16 with One UI 8, seven years of OS and security updates, and DeX support. The sheet is dated as current July 9, 2025; local variants can differ. Samsung’s global launch release describes Fold7 and Flip7 as its “thinnest, lightest and most advanced Z series devices yet”—a Samsung marketing statement, not an independent comparison: Samsung Global Newsroom launch release.
Find N6’s reported policy
Android Central reports four years of OS upgrades for Find N6. The cited material does not establish a matching security-update duration, delivery schedule, or country-by-country firmware policy. Ask OPPO or the authorized seller for those terms in writing before buying, especially if you plan to keep the phone beyond its first contract cycle.

Consider watches, earbuds, tablets, Windows tools, cloud storage, password managers, workplace management, and family file sharing. A theoretically stronger specification can be a poor choice if it breaks a workflow you use every day. Conversely, a buyer who already uses Samsung’s services and DeX may gain more from Fold7 integration than from Find N6’s larger battery.
How to choose in your country: a practical decision process
- Establish official status. Check the manufacturer’s country site and an authorized retailer. If Find N6 is not officially sold in your market, price it as an import with no assumed local service.
- Write down your non-negotiables. Mark pen input, DeX, update length, cover-screen typing, battery capacity, wireless charging, camera needs, and maximum carry weight.
- Verify the exact model. Compare model number, storage, SIM configuration, supported bands, charger, and software region.
- Try both screens if possible. Type, read, multitask, use your banking app, make a video call, and inspect the hinge area.
- Price the complete ownership package. Include case, screen protection, charger, pen, taxes, warranty, insurance, and a realistic repair route.
- Check update terms. Record the promised OS and security period, when the clock starts, and whether your region receives updates on the same schedule.
- Buy from a seller with a clear return policy. Foldables have specialized screens and hinges; a short return window is valuable if an app, keyboard, or crease does not suit you.
Who should choose each phone?
Choose Galaxy Z Fold7 when:
- You need the lighter 215g design listed by Samsung.
- Seven years of documented OS and security updates are important.
- You use or plan to use Samsung DeX.
- You want a model announced for global availability and easier local servicing.
- You do not need an S Pen; Samsung says Fold7 does not support it.
Choose Find N6 when:
- You can buy it through an officially supported channel in your country.
- The reported 6,000mAh battery and 80W wired or 50W wireless charging match your routine.
- You want the reported OPPO AI Pen support.
- The slightly larger reported 8.12-inch inner and 6.62-inch cover displays matter to your work or reading.
- You accept a reported four-year OS-upgrade commitment and have confirmed the local security policy.
- You value the reported IP58/IP59 ratings while understanding their limits.
What the older Find N3 tells you—and what it does not
Historical context can explain OPPO’s foldable design direction, but it should not be mistaken for Find N6 data. OPPO’s October 2023 Find N3 announcement describes a 6.3-inch outer display, a 7.8-inch unfolded display, IPX4 splash resistance, four years of software updates, five years of security updates, and the vendor-reported TÜV Rheinland one-million-fold test. Those figures belong to Find N3 and do not establish Find N6 specifications, durability, or support.
Bottom line
For most buyers who need dependable local purchasing, a lighter body, desktop-style work, and the longest documented support window, Galaxy Z Fold7 is the safer recommendation. Find N6 is the more compelling hardware-led choice for a buyer who can verify official regional support and genuinely values its reported battery, charging, pen, display, and ingress-protection advantages. Your country, warranty, network compatibility, and repair access should decide any close call before a paper specification does.
