The OPPO F35 Pro 5G adds an OIS-equipped main camera, an ultra-wide rear camera and a wide-angle 50MP selfie camera, while keeping an 8,000mAh typical-capacity battery. Those are meaningful upgrades, but they come at launch-era India prices starting at ₹45,999. Smartprix reviewer Mehtab Ansari found battery life especially strong in his use, while judging performance less compelling for the price. Whether it is worth buying depends on how much you value endurance and camera flexibility over raw performance and NFC.
What is the OPPO F35 Pro, and what does it cost in India?

Smartprix reported availability through OPPO channels, Amazon, Flipkart and offline retailers. Mint reported that the F35 series was unveiled on 5 October 2026 and was scheduled to go on sale from 11 October. Mint’s ₹38,999 starting price refers to the separate base F35, not the Pro. See Gadgets360’s India launch report, Smartprix’s review and Mint’s launch report.
How good is the OPPO F35 Pro camera?
The rear system is more versatile than a single main camera: OPPO specifies a 50MP wide camera with autofocus and dual-axis optical image stabilisation (OIS), plus an 8MP ultra-wide camera with a 116-degree field of view. The front camera is 50MP, has autofocus and a 100-degree field of view—useful for fitting more people into a group selfie. OPPO lists 4K recording at 30fps for both front and rear cameras. These are manufacturer specifications, not a guarantee of equal image quality across cameras or conditions. Details are on OPPO’s specifications page.

In his hands-on review, Mehtab Ansari praised the selfie camera, OIS, the added ultra-wide and 4K recording. OIS can help steady handheld shots, particularly in lower light, but the available review evidence does not establish that the F35 Pro outperforms similarly priced rivals in controlled image tests. Consider this a meaningful feature upgrade rather than proof of flagship-level camera results.
How long does the OPPO F35 Pro battery last?
OPPO specifies an 8,000mAh typical battery capacity and a 7,780mAh rated capacity; these are distinct figures, not competing estimates. Maximum supported charging is 80W SUPERVOOC, and OPPO also lists 44W UFCS support. The phone’s package contents can vary by market, so check the India box and charger specifications rather than assuming every listed charging standard is supported by the included adapter. OPPO’s specification page lists compatible charging standards and the in-box items.

Ansari reported more than nine hours of screen-on time while using 5G on Jio in India. That is one reviewer’s experience across his use, not a controlled average or a guarantee for every user; network conditions, settings and workload affect battery life. OPPO also promotes battery longevity, but its health figures are based on company laboratory testing at 25 ± 2°C, and OPPO says actual results can vary with equipment, environment and use. See the qualifications on OPPO’s product page.
What are the display, performance and software like?
OPPO lists a 17.22cm AMOLED display with a 2772 × 1272 FHD+ resolution and adaptive refresh rates up to 144Hz. Some launch coverage and the hands-on review use the shorthand “1.5K”; the official specification gives the resolution above. The phone runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7360 MAX. Smartprix’s reviewer found performance improved over the previous model but not fully commensurate with the asking price. That is a subjective assessment, not a benchmark result; buyers prioritising demanding games or maximum performance should weigh it against their budget and workload.

OPPO’s specification page identifies ColorOS 16.5 but notes that software information is for reference and may be updated. The reported Android-version descriptions differ between sources, so confirm the software version on the specific retail unit rather than relying on an unverified Android-version claim. OPPO says its six-year smoothness protection applies to the 8GB+256GB version and above, while the 128GB model is described as up to five years; these are manufacturer claims on OPPO’s product page, not independent performance measurements.
What are the main drawbacks?
- High starting price: The reported launch price begins at ₹45,999, and higher storage configurations cost more.
- No NFC: OPPO’s specifications say NFC is unsupported, which matters if you use NFC-based payments or accessories.
- Performance for the money: Ansari judged it not class-leading for the price, despite improvement over the preceding model.
- Always-on display limitation: Ansari observed that the display is not continuously always on, despite the feature’s name.
These are the tradeoffs to put alongside the camera additions and battery capacity, rather than assuming a bigger spec sheet means a better fit for every buyer.

Is the OPPO F35 Pro worth buying?
The F35 Pro makes the strongest case for someone who wants a large battery, fast charging and more camera options—including an ultra-wide and a wide-angle front camera. Its 50MP OIS main camera and 4K/30fps front and rear recording add useful flexibility. The reviewer’s 9+ hour 5G screen-on result is encouraging, but it belongs to one person’s use, not a promised runtime.

At its reported launch pricing, the case is weaker if your priorities are top-tier performance for the money, NFC or an always-on display that stays continuously visible. There is not enough verified side-by-side evidence here to declare it a better buy than a specific competitor or to quantify its price increase over the F33 Pro. Check current India pricing, the exact storage variant and the software on the device before deciding.
