The OPPO F33 Pro 5G stands out on paper for its 50MP ultra-wide front camera and up to 80W charging; the vivo T5 5G offers a larger, sharper, faster-refresh display, an 8MP ultra-wide rear camera and a slightly larger stated typical battery. Which is the better buy depends on the features you value and the current price for the same storage tier. The comparison below covers the India-market OPPO F33 Pro 5G (model CPH2835) and vivo T5 5G—not the vivo T5 Pro or another F33 model.

Display: vivo gives you more screen and a higher refresh ceiling
The vivo T5 5G has the larger panel at 6.83 inches, compared with 6.57 inches on the OPPO. Its curved 1.5K AMOLED is also listed with a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz, versus the OPPO’s flat FHD+ AMOLED at up to 120Hz. Those figures favour vivo if screen size, resolution or refresh-rate headroom is a priority. The difference between curved and flat edges is a separate handling preference, so consider the shape as well as the numbers.

Front cameras
OPPO lists a 50MP front camera with a 100° field of view and autofocus, and describes its framing as ultra-wide. vivo lists a 32MP front camera and says the front camera can record 4K video at 30fps. The higher listed megapixel count does not by itself establish that the OPPO takes better selfies: image processing, lighting and other factors affect results, and these specifications are not a substitute for a controlled camera comparison.

Rear cameras
The vivo’s listed setup pairs a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. OPPO lists a 50MP main camera and a 2MP monochrome secondary camera. On the stated hardware, vivo offers a dedicated ultra-wide rear lens and OIS on its main camera, while OPPO’s secondary camera is monochrome. vivo also lists 4K/30fps recording on both its front and rear cameras.
Performance: the chip names do not settle the real-world comparison
The phones use different platforms: OPPO lists the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 MAX, while vivo lists the 4nm Dimensity 7500 Turbo and MediaTek NPU 850. These manufacturer specifications identify the chips, but they do not establish which phone performs better in everyday use, sustained workloads or games. No controlled head-to-head test of the two retail models is established here. If performance is decisive, look for independent tests of the exact models and configurations you plan to buy, noting the software version and test conditions.

Battery and charging: a small capacity difference, a larger charging-wattage gap
vivo states a typical battery capacity of 7,050mAh, 50mAh more than OPPO’s 7,000mAh typical figure. Both manufacturers also give lower rated capacities: 6,850mAh for vivo and 6,830mAh for OPPO. OPPO lists charging up to 80W; vivo lists up to 44W. These are manufacturer specifications, not measured endurance or charge-time results. Actual battery life and charging speed can vary with use, temperature, charger and other conditions.

Water and dust resistance
OPPO’s F33 launch material lists IP69K, IP68 and IP66 ratings, as well as MIL-STD-810H. vivo lists IP68/IP69 and military-grade durability, while noting that its claims relate to controlled test conditions and that water resistance is not permanent. These are vendor-stated claims, not a promise that either phone is damage-proof or suitable for routine immersion; follow each manufacturer’s care guidance.

Updates
vivo states that the T5 5G will receive three Android OS upgrades and five years of security patch updates. OPPO lists ColorOS 16 for the F33 Pro, but a comparable support-duration commitment is not stated on the reviewed OPPO pages. That means vivo’s duration is explicit in the available manufacturer material; it does not establish OPPO’s actual update performance or imply that OPPO will provide no updates.
Price difference in India: launch prices and retailer listings are different bases
OPPO India announced the F33 Pro 5G at launch in April 2026 with prices of ₹37,999 for 8GB/128GB and ₹40,999 for 8GB/256GB. Its launch announcement also lists a 12GB/256GB configuration, while OPPO’s specifications page lists only the two 8GB configurations. Check which variants are actually available from the seller you intend to use.

Separately, a 91mobiles comparison page displayed ₹39,999 at Amazon for the OPPO F33 Pro 5G and ₹34,999 at Flipkart for the vivo T5 5G when accessed on 4 October 2026. Those are dated retailer figures, not official prices or guaranteed checkout totals. The page does not establish that the two listings are for matching memory configurations, so the apparent ₹5,000 difference is not a verified like-for-like price comparison. Listings and offers can change.

- Absorption of light and sunlight will produce a fluorescent effect in a dark environment.
- Adhesive metal finger ring support [you can choose to stick to Case, or separate use], 360 degree rotation + car bracket magnetic suction
- PC hard back panel + soft silicone frame + four corners Shock Airbags
- The back side is a combination of 4 layers: solid PC, ultra-high definition pattern layer, special process layer, clear and scratch-resistant surface layer
- Case is higher than the camera as well as the screen, providing better flat protection
Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the OPPO F33 Pro 5G if a high-resolution, wide-field front camera or higher maximum wired charging wattage matters most to you. Check your preferred storage configuration and current price before buying.
- Consider the vivo T5 5G if you want the larger curved, higher-resolution, higher-refresh display, a rear ultra-wide camera, listed 4K/30fps recording from both front and rear, or a stated update duration.
- For gaming or demanding workloads, do not choose on processor names alone. Seek independent tests of the exact retail models and configurations rather than treating third-party comparison-page benchmark figures as a controlled head-to-head result.
- For the better deal, compare current seller listings for matching memory and storage configurations, with promotions handled on the same basis.
