The comparison below separates official OPPO specifications from third-party-reported Motorola details, so you can weigh the trade-offs without treating specifications as hands-on results.

That makes OPPO the specification-based choice to investigate if battery capacity is your priority. It does not prove longer runtime: screen settings, network conditions, software, and usage affect endurance, and the figures here are not battery-life test results. Charging wattage alone likewise does not establish how long either phone takes to charge.

Motorola therefore has the higher reported refresh-rate figure, which may matter if you value smoother motion in supported content. Refresh rate is only one part of display experience; these specifications do not establish brightness, color accuracy, outdoor readability, or how often the screen actually uses its maximum rate.
Camera systems: versatility is not the same as image quality
OPPO’s documented setup

Performance, storage, and configurations
OPPO specifies a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, LPDDR4X RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage. Its India launch announcement offered 8 GB/256 GB and 12 GB/256 GB configurations. Motorola’s chipset, the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme, is reported by 91mobiles; Motorola India’s catalogue lists the 12 GB/256 GB configuration.
These names alone do not provide a dependable ranking for everyday speed, gaming, heat, or sustained performance. The available figures are not a controlled performance comparison, so choose based on verified reviews and the apps and games you actually use rather than assuming a winner from chipset labels.
Which one should you shortlist?
- Consider OPPO if its larger officially stated battery is your main specification priority, or if its documented camera setup and launch configurations fit your needs. Confirm its current selling price and stock, since the cited prices are historical.
- Consider Motorola if the reported 144 Hz display and dedicated ultra-wide and telephoto cameras matter more to you, and you are comfortable verifying those details against current product information. Its displayed catalogue price was for the 12 GB/256 GB version and is subject to change.
- Compare like with like by checking the same RAM and storage capacity, the actual seller, final checkout price, and availability on the day you plan to buy.
Do not decide from the price gap or specification sheet alone: the quoted prices are from different dates and bases, while real-world camera quality, battery life, and software experience are not established by these figures. OPPO’s product page also notes that actual specifications and dimensions may vary by configuration and manufacturing process. Review OPPO’s official F31 Pro+ specifications. Motorola’s detailed specifications cited above remain secondary-source reports.
