OPPO lists faster maximum wired charging, while Xiaomi lists reverse charging. Both official global pages name the Snapdragon 685 and a 7000mAh typical battery. Neither page establishes a comparable current price, so there is no reliable price difference to report without choosing a country and matching exact configurations.

Which phone has the better display?
On the listed specifications, Redmi 15 is the display pick. Its 6.9-inch FHD+ screen has more resolution than the A6’s 6.75-inch HD+ panel, and Xiaomi lists a higher maximum refresh rate: up to 144Hz versus OPPO’s up to 120Hz. A higher refresh rate can make supported scrolling and animations look smoother, while the greater resolution gives the Redmi more pixels for text and images. Actual refresh behavior depends on the content and settings.
Performance: the chipset name matches, but that is not a benchmark
Both global product pages list the Snapdragon 685. That is a specification match, not evidence that the phones perform identically: memory configuration, software, thermal behavior, and workload can affect results. No independent benchmark comparison is established here, so the chipset alone does not make either phone a proven performance winner.
#1 Best Overall
- 6.75 inches, IPS LCD, 720 x 1570 pixels
- 256GB Storage, 6GB RAM, microSDXC
- Android 15, ColorOS 15, Mediatek Dimensity 6300 (6 nm), Octa-core (2x2.4 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6x2.0 GHz Cortex-A55)
- Rear: 50 MP, f/1.8, (wide), PDAF, Auxiliary lens, Front: 8 MP, f/2.0, (wide)
Battery and charging differences
Both manufacturers list a 7000mAh typical battery. OPPO additionally states a 6830mAh rated capacity for the A6. The shared typical figure does not demonstrate equal real-world battery life; display use, signal strength, software, settings, and workload all matter, and no common head-to-head endurance test is available.
- OPPO A6: up to 45W SUPERVOOC wired charging, the higher stated maximum wired rate in this comparison.
- Redmi 15: 33W wired charging and 18W reverse charging are listed.
Maximum charging rates depend on compatible charging equipment and conditions. Xiaomi’s reverse-charging listing should not be read as proof that every regional version has identical accessories or behavior.
Rank #2
- 6.57 inches, AMOLED, 1B colors, 1080 x 2372 pixels
- 256GB Storage, 8GB RAM, microSDXC
- Android 15, ColorOS 15, Mediatek Dimensity 6300 (6 nm), Octa-core (2x2.4 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6x2.0 GHz Cortex-A55)
- Rear: 50 MP, f/1.8, (wide), PDAF, Auxiliary lens, Front: 16 MP, f/2.4, (wide)
Cameras: the specification sheets do not establish a winner
OPPO lists a 50MP main rear camera with a 2MP monochrome camera and an 8MP front camera. Xiaomi describes a 50MP AI dual-camera system, but the cited page does not confirm a front-camera figure. Megapixel counts and camera labels are not a substitute for sample images or a controlled camera test, so there is not enough evidence here to call either phone better for photography.

Price difference: no fair figure is established
The official global pages cited above provide specifications, not a live, like-for-like retail price pair. A meaningful comparison needs the same country, date, physical RAM and storage tier, and price type (for example, regular list price versus promotion). Until those details are checked, a numeric price difference would be misleading.

Do not use OPPO India’s March 18, 2026 launch prices for the OPPO A6s 5G as prices for OPPO A6. OPPO announced the separate A6s 5G at ₹18,999 for 4GB+128GB and ₹20,999 for 6GB+128GB; those figures identify another model, not the A6 in this comparison. See OPPO India’s A6s 5G launch announcement.
Check the exact model before buying
“OPPO A6” can refer to different regional products. The global specification page identifies model CPH2817, while OPPO India also has a separate OPPO A6 5G product page. The name alone is not enough to confirm network generation, supported bands, memory, charger bundle, or warranty market. Compare the model number and local listing details rather than assuming the regional versions are interchangeable.
Rank #4
- 6.75 inches, IPS LCD, 720 x 1570 pixels
- 256GB Storage, 6GB RAM, microSDXC
- Android 15, ColorOS 15, Qualcomm SM6225 Snapdragon 685 (6 nm), Octa-core (4x2.8 GHz Cortex-A73 & 4x1.9 GHz Cortex-A53)
- Rear: 50 MP, f/1.8, (wide), PDAF, Auxiliary lens, Front: 8 MP, f/2.0, (wide)
- Confirm the exact model number and whether the phone is 4G or 5G.
- Match physical RAM and storage; memory extension is not the same as physical RAM.
- Check carrier-band compatibility, warranty region, included charger, and seller authenticity.
- Compare locally available prices for the same configuration on the same date.
Which one should you choose?
Choose Redmi 15 if display features matter most
Its published global specifications give it the larger, higher-resolution display and higher maximum refresh rate. It also lists reverse charging.

Neither is established as the overall performance or camera winner by these specifications alone. The practical choice depends on the exact regional SKU, local price, network compatibility, warranty, and configuration.
