But “OPPO A6” refers to different regional models, and the available prices come from different countries, so there is no reliable universal price difference. Identify your country and exact A6 model before comparing local prices.
First, identify which OPPO A6 you mean
OPPO sells phones under the A6 name with different hardware by market. The Philippines model, CPH2817, is a 4G phone with a Snapdragon 685. India’s OPPO A6 5G, CPH2785, uses a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 and supports 5G. These are not interchangeable variants. Check the model number and country on the local product listing before using any specification or price below. OPPO Philippines lists the CPH2817 specifications, while OPPO India lists the CPH2785 A6 5G.

The OPPO specifications are from the respective regional product pages; they are not a worldwide specification set. vivo’s India X300 FE product page and official specifications list the X300 FE details shown above. Network-band support should be checked against your carrier and country, not inferred from the phone name alone.

Display: sharper image on the X300 FE, larger panel on the A6
The A6 screens are 6.75 inches, compared with 6.31 inches on the X300 FE, so the A6 gives you more physical screen area. The X300 FE’s AMOLED panel has a much higher listed resolution and pixel density—2640 × 1216 at 460 ppi versus 1570 × 720 at 256 ppi on the A6 variants. Both listings specify a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. Choose based on whether you value a larger screen or finer detail and an AMOLED panel; these specifications alone do not establish brightness or overall display quality.

- 256GB Storage, 6GB RAM, microSDXC
- Android 15, ColorOS 15, Mediatek Dimensity 6300 (6 nm), Octa-core (2x2.4 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6x2.0 GHz Cortex-A55)

Performance and 5G depend on the A6 variant
The X300 FE’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 is a higher-tier platform on paper than either A6 chipset. The Philippines CPH2817 uses Snapdragon 685 and is listed with 4G bands; the Indian CPH2785 is the A6 5G, with Dimensity 6300 and listed 5G NR bands. Those differences matter if you want 5G, but confirm that the specific model supports your operator’s bands. The listed platform names do not substitute for independent performance testing.
Battery capacity is not a runtime test
OPPO lists a 7000 mAh typical battery for both cited A6 variants, while vivo lists 6500 mAh typical and 6350 mAh rated for the X300 FE. The X300 FE has the higher listed charging rate—90 W FlashCharge versus up to 45 W SUPERVOOC on the A6 pages. Battery capacity and charging ratings do not, by themselves, tell you how long a phone lasts in real use or how quickly it charges under every condition.

Camera hardware: more dedicated options on the X300 FE
The A6 variants have a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP monochrome camera. The X300 FE lists a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50 MP OIS telephoto camera, and an 8 MP wide camera, plus a 50 MP autofocus front camera. That gives the X300 FE more distinct rear-camera focal options on the specification sheet; the megapixel counts do not establish comparative photo quality.
For an additional camera accessory, vivo identifies its ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 as compatible with the X300 FE and says it is purchased separately. Check the official X300 FE product information for the accessory details and local availability.

Durability claims are not uniform across A6 markets
OPPO India’s A6 5G page advertises IP66, IP68, and IP69. The cited Philippines A6 page does not establish a rating for this comparison, so do not transfer the Indian model’s claim to CPH2817 without checking its local listing. vivo lists IP68 and IP69 for the X300 FE. An IP rating describes specified ingress protection conditions; it is not a promise that damage from water or dust is impossible.

The available prices are regional observations for different products and configurations, not a valid direct price comparison. OPPO Spain’s store listed the 6 GB + 256 GB A6 at €229 when accessed in 2026. A report published March 16, 2026 gave Spanish launch prices of €229 for the A6 4G and €279 for the A6 5G for the configurations in that report; those are dated launch figures, not a guarantee of today’s price. vivo’s Pakistan product page listed Rs. 269,999, and its Philippines product page listed ₱54,999 for the X300 FE. Those currencies and markets cannot be combined to calculate one meaningful price gap.

Which phone makes more sense for you?
- Consider the vivo X300 FE if you prioritize a high-resolution AMOLED screen, a higher-tier listed chipset, 5G, faster rated charging, or a dedicated telephoto camera. Its official India specification page lists Android 16 with OriginOS 6.
- Consider an OPPO A6 variant if you prefer a larger 6.75-inch display or want the higher stated battery capacity among the variants compared here. Choose the exact regional model deliberately: the Philippines CPH2817 is 4G with Snapdragon 685, while India’s CPH2785 is a 5G model with Dimensity 6300.
- Before buying either, verify local network-band compatibility, the exact storage configuration and price, and the water/dust rating for that specific market SKU. The figures here are manufacturer specifications and regional listings, not independent comparative tests of speed, camera output, or battery life.
