For the India-market OPPO A6 5G and realme P4R 5G, the P4R has the higher stated display refresh rate and larger battery, while OPPO lists higher ingress-protection ratings. Both manufacturers specify the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and 45W wired charging. Price listings disagree, so there is no dependable fixed price difference without checking the same configuration and seller.
Check the exact models first
This comparison covers the India-market OPPO A6 5G and realme P4R 5G. The name matters: OPPO Global also lists an OPPO A6 (CPH2817), with a Snapdragon 685 and an 8MP front camera. That is a distinct configuration, not the India A6 5G. OPPO India lists the latter with the Dimensity 6300. See OPPO India’s A6 5G specifications and OPPO Global’s A6 page.

| Rear camera | 50MP ultra-clear camera | 50MP AI camera |
| Ingress protection listed | IP66/IP68/IP69 | IP65 |
These are manufacturer-published specifications, not independent test results. The official product pages identify both displays as LCD; a comparison listing that describes the OPPO screen as AMOLED conflicts with OPPO’s own specification. See realme’s P4R 5G product page.
Display: P4R has the higher stated refresh rate
realme specifies a 144Hz refresh rate for the P4R, compared with OPPO’s 120Hz maximum for the A6 5G. A higher refresh rate can make supported motion and scrolling appear smoother, but the figure alone does not establish overall display quality. Both are LCD panels, and realme’s stated 1200-nit peak brightness is a manufacturer specification, not an independent brightness measurement.

Battery and charging: bigger capacity on realme, same advertised charging power
realme lists an 8000mAh battery; OPPO lists 7000mAh typical capacity and 6830mAh rated capacity. That makes the P4R the larger-capacity option on paper, but these figures do not establish which phone lasts longer in everyday use. No comparable independent endurance test is established here.
Both brands advertise 45W wired charging. The labels do not guarantee identical charging time: actual rates depend on the charger, conditions and region.

Performance and cameras: specifications do not settle the winner
Both manufacturers name the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, so the available specifications do not support calling either phone faster. No controlled, independent benchmark comparison is established here.
Each phone has a listed 50MP rear camera, described by OPPO as an “ultra-clear camera” and by realme as an “AI camera.” Megapixel count and marketing labels do not show how the cameras compare in image quality; no independent camera comparison is established here.

Water and dust resistance: understand the ratings and limits
OPPO lists IP66/IP68/IP69 for the A6 5G, while realme lists IP65 for the P4R. These are not promises that either phone is damage-proof. OPPO says the ratings were tested under controlled conditions, that resistance can decrease with wear, and that immersion damage is not covered by warranty. Its product disclaimer says: “The splash-proof, waterproof, and dustproof functions may decrease due to daily wear and tear.” Review each manufacturer’s warranty and product conditions before treating a rating as protection for a particular incident.

Which one should you buy?
- Consider realme P4R 5G if you prioritize the larger stated battery capacity and higher refresh-rate display.
- Consider OPPO A6 5G if OPPO’s listed IP66/IP68/IP69 ratings are important to you and you understand the test and warranty limitations.
- Do not choose based on presumed speed or camera superiority from these specifications alone: the phones share a named chipset, and the listed camera resolutions do not establish comparative results.
- Make the final value comparison using a live, like-for-like price for your preferred configuration.
