What the hardware means in daily use
Display
The 90Hz panel should make scrolling and animations feel smoother than a standard 60Hz screen. Its 720 × 1604 resolution is entry-level for a 6.67-inch phone, so text and fine details will not look as sharp as they do on a higher-resolution panel. The 1000-nit figure is a high-brightness-mode claim, not a promise that the screen runs at that brightness continuously.
Performance and storage
The Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 1 places the A5x in the budget 4G class. It is suited to calls, messaging, streaming, social apps and ordinary multitasking; demanding games and sustained heavy workloads should be approached with modest expectations. A 4GB model has less headroom for keeping many apps open than a higher-memory phone. If you store photos, video or large games, the 128GB version or microSD expansion is the more practical choice, subject to the seller’s confirmed specification.
#1 Best Overall
- 6.67 inches, IPS LCD, 720 x 1604 pixels
- 128GB Storage, 4GB RAM, microSDXC
- Android 15, ColorOS 15, Mediatek Dimensity 6300 (6 nm), Octa-core (2x2.4 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6x2.0 GHz Cortex-A55)

Cameras
The listed 32MP autofocus rear camera and 5MP front camera cover basic photography and video calls. Megapixel counts alone do not establish image quality: results depend on processing, lighting and software. No independent camera testing is available here.
Battery and charging
OPPO advertises a 6000mAh typical-capacity battery and 45W SUPERVOOC charging. Actual endurance and charging time vary with temperature, network signal, screen brightness, charger and usage. OPPO describes its battery-retention and charging figures as laboratory results, so they should not be read as guaranteed results for every device.

- The combination of flexible TPU and shock absorbing Four Corners helps protect your phone for OPPO A5X 4G/5G from drops and other impacts
- Its design with micro dots on the inside prevents the wet and sticky appearance, so common among transparent cases, thus helping to maintain the beautiful design of your phone for OPPO A5X 4G/5G
- The matte side strips of the edge can increase the stability of the grip of the mobile phone, making it comfortable to hold and preventing it from slipping, while also preventing phone corrosion from hand sweat. Easy to clean, you only need to gently wipe it with a damp cloth to remove stains and dirt.
- DIY customization: due to the special material of the transparent phone case, you can stick photos, patterns, etc. that you like on the back of the phone to personalize it and reflect your style and personality.
Durability and water-resistance limits
OPPO promotes IP65 dust and water resistance and shock testing conducted using MIL-STD 810H methodologies. Those are bounded test claims, not a guarantee that the phone is damage-proof. OPPO says IP65 performance was measured under controlled conditions and can decline through everyday wear. Its product-page disclaimer states: “Damage caused by immersion in liquids is not covered by the warranty.” Do not submerge the A5x, use the rating as permission for swimming or intentionally expose it to liquid.
Software and feature availability
The listed software is Android 15 with ColorOS 15. OPPO cautions that advertised AI functions may not ship in the launch software and that availability can vary by region and software version. Check the handset’s installed version and local feature list after purchase rather than assuming every promotional feature is enabled in Pakistan.

Check before paying
- Confirm that the label says A5x 4G, not A5x 5G.
- Match the box, invoice and settings screen to the promised RAM and storage.
- Verify the official Pakistan warranty, tax status and return policy.
- Check the charger included in the box and whether 45W charging is supported by that charger.

Is the Oppo A5x 4G worth it?
On the published specifications, the A5x 4G is aimed at buyers who prioritize a large battery, 90Hz display, microSD expansion and fast-charging support over high-resolution imaging or premium performance. Its 4G-only connectivity, entry-level 720p display and 4GB memory limit its appeal for buyers seeking 5G, sharper visuals or heavier gaming. The value depends chiefly on the confirmed configuration, warranty and the price available on the day you buy.
Reviews and evidence limits
The available material consists of retailer/specification listings and OPPO’s own product claims. There is no independent battery, camera or benchmark test in this coverage, and no controlled comparison with current Pakistani competitors. Treat performance, endurance and durability as expectations based on specifications and qualified manufacturer claims, not as independently verified results.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: Budget roughly Rs. 29,999–Rs. 33,999 depending on whether you find the 4GB/64GB or 4GB/128GB model; Rs. 31,999 is the current headline listing from TechJuice and WhatMobile as of September 30, 2026. Confirm the exact 4G configuration, warranty and final seller price before ordering.
