The India-market OPPO A5 5G (model CPH2751) comes in 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB configurations. OPPO’s listed specifications include a 6.94-inch HD+ 120Hz LCD, MediaTek Dimensity 6300, 6,000mAh typical battery and 45W SUPERVOOC charging. OPPO announced launch prices of ₹15,499 and ₹16,999 in June 2025; those are historical prices, not verified October 2026 selling prices.

The figures are launch prices from OPPO’s June 2025 announcement, not confirmed current prices. Current October 2026 retailer pricing, availability and offers have not been verified. The announcement named Amazon, Flipkart, OPPO Store and mainline retail outlets as launch sales channels; it also described a ₹1,500 instant cashback and six-month no-cost EMI with select credit cards as launch terms. Which OPPO A5 5G configuration should you choose?
Both listed configurations have 128GB storage; the distinction is 6GB versus 8GB of RAM. Compare the live price gap against how much you value the additional RAM for your own use. The official specifications do not establish that either version is better for a particular workload. Since the announced prices are historical, use current retailer listings for the comparison rather than assuming the original ₹1,500 gap still applies.
How to read the screen, battery and charging figures
Display
The 6.94-inch panel is an LCD with 1604 × 720 resolution, which OPPO labels HD+, and a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. OPPO lists 850 nits typical brightness and 1,000 nits typical brightness in HBM. These are manufacturer-listed specifications, not independent measurements.

Battery and charging
OPPO distinguishes a 6,000mAh typical battery capacity from a 5,860mAh rated capacity. Its listed charging support includes 45W SUPERVOOC, alongside 15W VOOC, 33W PPS and 13.5W PD. The specification page does not provide a charging-time estimate, so the supported charging rates should not be read as a guaranteed time to full charge.
OPPO’s product page says the battery is designed to retain 80% of its original capacity after five years. That is the manufacturer’s claim, not an independently verified result. See OPPO’s A5 5G product page for its claim and qualifications.

The rear setup comprises a 50MP wide-angle camera and a 2MP monochrome camera; the front camera is 8MP. The megapixel figures describe the listed camera hardware, not image quality, which cannot be established from resolution alone.
OPPO lists 5G bands n1/n3/n5/n8/n28B/n40/n41/n77/n78, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.4. It also lists USB Type-C and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Check the carrier’s supported bands and local coverage before relying on 5G compatibility in a particular area.

What does the OPPO A5 5G’s IP65 rating mean?
OPPO advertises IP65 water and dust resistance and describes the device as tested to resist dust and water in normal use. IP65 is the manufacturer’s stated rating; it does not mean the phone is waterproof or suitable for submersion. OPPO also promotes a 360° Armour Body and claims 160% better impact resistance on its product page. Those are manufacturer claims, not independent test findings.
