For a continuous pre-recorded YouTube loop with playlists and scheduling, Gyre’s published plans make the fit easier to assess—though those features start at Start+, not its $49 Start tier. OneStream Live is the stronger candidate when you need advance scheduling or broad multistreaming, but its own pages conflict over whether 24-hour YouTube streaming requires Enterprise or can be added for $30 per month. Confirm eligibility and the full checkout price with OneStream before subscribing. This comparison reflects vendor-published information, not hands-on testing.
Which service fits your use case?
Both services describe cloud workflows for streaming pre-recorded video, so a dedicated local computer is not established as necessary for either. The key differences are how clearly each service documents continuous streaming, which plan includes playlists and scheduling, and whether you need destinations beyond YouTube.
| Need | OneStream Live | Gyre | Practical takeaway |
|---|---|---|---|
| Continuous YouTube loop | Its help page describes a YouTube-only 24/7 feature, with Enterprise required and a maximum duration of 30 days. Its pricing page also advertises a $30/month add-on. | Its pricing page lists 24/7 stream duration for the trial and paid tiers. | Ask OneStream whether the add-on is available to your account and whether it is charged on top of a plan. |
| Playlists and scheduling | Describes playlist sequencing and pre-recorded broadcasts schedulable up to 60 days ahead. | Lists playlists and scheduling on Start+ and PRO+, not Start. | OneStream documents longer advance scheduling; Gyre’s entry paid tier omits the listed playlist and scheduling features. |
| Destinations | Lists 5, 10, 30, or 50 destinations across Basic, Standard, Professional, and Enterprise; the vendor describes reach to more than 45 platforms. | Lists YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Instagram, X, Kick, and MixCloud. | OneStream lists more destinations by plan count. Check that the specific platforms and account connections you need are supported. |
| Concurrent streams and quality | Pricing lists 720p on Basic and 1080p on Standard and higher plans shown. | Start: 1 HD stream; Start+: 4 HD or 1 4K; PRO+: 8 HD or 2 4K. | Gyre publishes more explicit simultaneous-stream limits, including 4K capacity. |
| Storage | Lists 5 GB on Basic, 20 GB on Standard, 50 GB on Professional, and 150 GB on Enterprise. | Trial: 20 GB and up to 15 files; Start: 35 GB; Start+: 75 GB; PRO+: 150 GB. | Compare your library size and file limits along with stream capacity. |
These features and limits are vendor listings and can change. Verify the current plan details at checkout before relying on them.
OneStream Live: scheduling and multistreaming, with a 24/7 plan conflict
OneStream describes a cloud service for scheduling pre-recorded video, sequencing playlists, and sending streams to multiple destinations. Its help page says broadcasts can be scheduled up to 60 days ahead and describes continuous looping for YouTube. For the specific 24-hour feature, however, OneStream’s dedicated help page says Enterprise is required, that streams are YouTube-only, and that a stream can run for up to 30 days. Its pricing page separately advertises “24-Hours Streams” for $30/month.

Gyre: clearer published tiers for continuous loops
Gyre describes a cloud workflow in which you upload videos, arrange a playlist, connect a destination, and run scheduled or continuous streams. Its pricing page lists a seven-day trial as well as three paid tiers. Start+ and PRO+ list playlists and scheduling; Start does not show either in the pricing summary, so do not assume the lowest paid tier includes them.
Gyre’s listed plans
| Plan | Listed price | Concurrent streams | Storage and file limit | Playlists and scheduling |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Trial, seven days | $0 | 1 HD | 20 GB; up to 15 files | Listed |
| Start | $49/month | 1 HD | 35 GB | Not listed |
| Start+ | $99/month | 4 HD or 1 4K | 75 GB | Listed |
| PRO+ | $169/month | 8 HD or 2 4K | 150 GB | Listed |
Gyre lists YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Instagram, X, Kick, and MixCloud as destinations. Prices, storage, stream counts, and included features are vendor listings and may change. Confirm current terms, destination support, and what happens when a trial ends on Gyre’s pricing page.

How to choose without comparing the wrong costs
Choose based on the actual workflow
- Pick Gyre for a continuous loop with published playlist and scheduling tiers if Start+ or PRO+ fits your stream count and storage needs. Its published plan grid makes those requirements relatively straightforward to map.
- Consider OneStream for advance scheduling or multistreaming if its listed destinations and workflow match your needs. Before using it for 24/7 YouTube streaming, resolve the Enterprise-versus-add-on discrepancy with the provider.
- Compare total required plan cost, not just the headline plan price. Include the necessary tier, any add-on, concurrent-stream count, resolution, storage, and file cap. Treat displayed prices as subject to change until you confirm checkout.
OneStream’s help page describes a 30-day maximum for its Enterprise 24/7 feature, while its pricing page advertises a monthly add-on; the pages do not settle how those terms interact. Gyre lists 24/7 stream duration across its trial and paid tiers, but playlists and scheduling appear only on the trial, Start+, and PRO+ in the pricing summary—not Start.
Streaming pre-recorded video and YouTube considerations
Both services describe cloud-based upload-and-schedule workflows. YouTube also documents encoder-based streaming as a separate method, but that documentation does not establish that either service requires a local encoder or a computer to remain on for its cloud workflow. See YouTube’s guide to creating a live stream with an encoder if you are comparing that separate approach.
