What is the price difference?
The observed gap was ₹6,000: ₹28,999 for the OnePlus listing and ₹34,999 for vivo’s 6GB+128GB variant on its official store. These are not a like-for-like comparison confirmed at checkout: one is a retailer listing surfaced by 91mobiles and the other is vivo’s own store price. A separate 91mobiles comparison showed the vivo price on Flipkart at the same ₹34,999, underscoring that listings and sellers can differ. Check the current price, seller, memory configuration, delivery location and final checkout total before deciding.
Neither snapshot proves that one phone is always the better value. Compare the exact RAM and storage tier, any exchange or bank offer, and the price you can actually pay. vivo’s store lists additional 8GB and 12GB RAM options and 256GB storage variants, so its ₹34,999 figure should not be treated as the price of every T5 configuration.

Does the vivo T5 5G have a better display?
On the published specifications, yes: vivo lists a larger 6.83-inch curved 1.5K AMOLED panel, while OnePlus lists a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD. Both manufacturers state a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz, so the refresh-rate figure alone does not distinguish them. vivo’s panel has the stronger listed resolution and display technology, while its brightness values are manufacturer claims rather than a promise of sustained brightness in every situation.
Choose the vivo if deep contrast, a higher-resolution panel and a curved screen matter most. OnePlus still offers a high-refresh display, but its LCD technology and FHD+ resolution are the more basic screen specification of the two.

Which phone has the better camera?
vivo has the more versatile camera hardware on paper. Its rear setup combines a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera with optical image stabilization and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. OnePlus lists a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth-assist camera, so it does not list a dedicated ultra-wide lens. vivo also lists a 32MP selfie camera against OnePlus’s 8MP front camera.

Those figures do not establish which phone takes better-looking photos. Megapixels and lens count cannot settle color, low-light performance, focus, stabilization quality or image processing without comparable samples. Both manufacturers list 4K video recording in the cited product information.

Which has better battery backup and charging?
The capacities are close. OnePlus specifies 7,000mAh; vivo specifies 7,050mAh typical capacity and 6,850mAh rated capacity. vivo explicitly distinguishes the two figures, so its 7,050mAh number should not be compared as if it were a rated-capacity figure. Both are large listed capacities, but actual battery life depends on the screen, signal, workload, settings and usage.
OnePlus lists 45W SUPERVOOC charging and vivo lists up to 44W FlashCharge. Those peak figures are nearly alike and do not show which phone will recharge faster in everyday use; charging time can depend on the charger, temperature, battery level and charging conditions. OnePlus also says its test lab estimates about 80% battery capacity after 1,600 full charge cycles under modeled typical conditions. That is a company test/model estimate, not a guarantee of an individual phone’s longevity.

Which phone is more durable?
vivo lists IP68 and IP69, compared with IP64 for OnePlus in the cited comparison listing. The ratings indicate stronger stated ingress protection for vivo, but they should not be read as a guarantee against every liquid, dust exposure, accident or form of damage. Expandable storage
OnePlus says its phone supports up to 2TB of expandable memory through a shared SIM/memory-card slot. That may suit someone who keeps a large offline music, video or photo library, but using the shared slot for a memory card can affect SIM-slot use. vivo’s store lists 128GB and 256GB configurations; the cited product information does not establish equivalent microSD expansion.
