Performance: Nord CE 6 has the stronger reported chip
91mobiles reports a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 in the Nord CE 6 and a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 in the POCO X8 Power, and rates the OnePlus as the stronger choice for demanding apps and games. That is a comparison-site assessment based on listed specifications, not an independent benchmark or hands-on test. Choose the Nord if processing performance is your leading priority, but treat the gap as a spec-based indication rather than a measured result.
Battery, charging and weight: POCO prioritizes endurance
The POCO’s reported 10,000mAh battery is larger than the OnePlus’s 8,000mAh battery, and its listed 100W charging is faster than the Nord’s 80W charging. Both are reported to support 27W reverse charging and bypass charging. Capacity and charging ratings alone do not establish real-world battery life or charging time.

The trade-off is handling: the POCO is listed at 229g, compared with 215g for the Nord CE 6. The OnePlus is the lighter option; the POCO pairs its greater reported battery capacity with additional weight.

Display: choose refresh rate or video-format support
Both phones are reported to have 1.5K AMOLED displays. The Nord CE 6’s listed 144Hz refresh rate is higher than the POCO’s 120Hz, which favors the OnePlus on that specification. The POCO is reported to support Dolby Vision as well as HDR10, while the OnePlus is listed with HDR10. That gives POCO the broader stated video HDR-format support, but the specifications do not prove which screen looks better in person.
Rank #3
- Large Display with High Refresh Rate: 6.72 inches screen with 120 Hz refresh rate, 1080x2400 (FHD+) resolution, 391 PPI, and Always On Display feature for enhanced viewing experience
- Long-Lasting Battery Performance: 5000mAh battery capacity provides extended usage time throughout the day with efficient power management
- Advanced Connectivity Options: Bluetooth 5.1, Single SIM slot, and microSDXC expandable storage support for flexible connectivity and storage expansion
- Triple Camera System: 108MP main camera with 3x lossless zoom and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) featuring 9-in-1 pixel binning technology for clear, high-detail photos with enhanced light absorption
- Powerful Processing Performance: Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset with up to 8GB of expandable virtual RAM enables fast app switching and smooth multitasking
The comparison also reports peak brightness claims of 3,600 nits for OnePlus and 3,500 nits for POCO, up to 3,200Hz instantaneous touch sampling for both, and 3,840Hz PWM dimming for OnePlus. Peak brightness is not the same as sustained brightness across the whole screen, and these figures are secondary-source claims rather than independently verified measurements.
Cameras: POCO adds focal-length flexibility, not a proven quality win
The Nord CE 6 is listed with a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor, with no ultra-wide or telephoto camera listed. The POCO comparison reports an ultra-wide camera, which gives it an additional framing option for wide scenes. The available specifications do not settle which phone takes better photos; image quality needs sample images or a camera test, not a comparison of megapixel counts alone.
Rank #4
- Large 5000mAh Battery: Provides long-lasting power for all-day use
- 6.49 Inch Full HD+ Display: Features a 90Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and vivid visuals
- Octa-Core Processor: Runs at lightning-fast speeds for seamless multitasking
- Triple Camera System: Includes 13MP main, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth lenses for crisp, detailed photos
- 5G Capable: Connects to the fastest network speeds for lightning-fast downloads and streaming
Software support: POCO has the longer reported commitment
Both models are reported to launch with Android 16, using OxygenOS 16 on the OnePlus and HyperOS 3 on the POCO. The comparison lists two major Android upgrades and four years of security updates for the Nord CE 6, versus four major Android updates and six years of security updates for POCO. These are secondary-source reports; confirm the applicable commitment with the manufacturer for the exact India model before treating it as binding.
Build, protection and box contents
91mobiles reports polycarbonate frames and backs, wet-touch input, and IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for both phones. It lists Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on POCO and Crystal Guard glass on OnePlus. Because these are consequential durability claims sourced from comparison coverage, confirm the ratings and materials in manufacturer documentation for the model being sold.

Smartprix lists release dates of 4 September 2026 for POCO X8 Power and 7 May 2026 for OnePlus Nord CE 6 5G. It also lists a protective case and an 80W adapter among the Nord’s box contents. These are page-reported details; packaging can vary by market or retail variant, so check the specific listing rather than assuming what is included.
Quick Recap
Which phone should you choose?
- Choose OnePlus Nord CE 6 5G if the reported stronger processor, 144Hz display or lower 215g weight matters most to you.
- Choose POCO X8 Power 5G if you value the lower listed price, 10,000mAh battery, 100W charging, ultra-wide camera option or longer reported software support.
- For camera quality, wait for reliable sample photos or a dedicated camera test; the listed specifications do not establish a winner.
- Before purchase, compare the same RAM/storage variant and verify current price, official specifications, software-support terms, warranty, service availability and regional compatibility. These points are not established by the comparison pages.
