Samsung’s Galaxy M47 5G stands out for expandable storage and a clearly stated software-update policy. Neither specification sheet proves which phone performs better in everyday use, and a current like-for-like India price difference is not established by the available official listings.
How the Nord CE 6 and Galaxy M47 differ
The figures below are manufacturer-published specifications, not results from a controlled head-to-head test. OnePlus cautions that specifications and features may change or depend on software, region or availability. Samsung’s battery figures distinguish typical capacity from rated minimum.

Display: Nord CE 6 has the higher listed resolution and refresh rate
OnePlus lists a 144Hz, 1.5K panel; Samsung lists a 120Hz FHD+ panel. Those figures indicate a difference in specification, not a guarantee that one screen looks better. Brightness, calibration, viewing conditions and individual preference also affect what you see.

Processor: chip names alone do not establish a speed winner
The Nord CE 6 uses the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, while the Galaxy M47 uses the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. Without comparable independent testing, these names do not establish which phone is faster in games, multitasking or sustained workloads.
Battery, charging and cameras
Battery capacity is not a runtime test
OnePlus lists an 8000mAh battery, 80W SUPERVOOC charging and 27W reverse charging. Samsung lists 6000mAh typical capacity (5,882mAh rated minimum) and advertises 45W fast charging; its product page says the charger is sold separately. Capacity and charging wattage do not, by themselves, predict how long a phone lasts or how quickly it charges in real use.

- Large 5000mAh Battery: Provides long-lasting power for all-day use
- 6.49 Inch Full HD+ Display: Features a 90Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and vivid visuals
- Octa-Core Processor: Runs at lightning-fast speeds for seamless multitasking
- Triple Camera System: Includes 13MP main, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth lenses for crisp, detailed photos
- 5G Capable: Connects to the fastest network speeds for lightning-fast downloads and streaming
Camera specifications do not settle photo quality
Samsung lists a 50MP main rear camera with OIS alongside 5MP and 2MP cameras. OnePlus lists a 50MP main camera with dual-axis OIS and a 32MP autofocus selfie camera. Resolution and stabilization descriptions do not establish which phone takes better photos; image processing, lenses and shooting conditions matter too.
Software support and durability
Samsung states a specific update commitment
Samsung says the Galaxy M47 will receive six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates, counted from its first global launch date; the policy is subject to change. OnePlus describes the Nord CE 6 as “Fast and Smooth for 6 years,” tested on the 256GB variant, but that wording is not an equivalent OS- and security-update schedule. The published information is therefore more specific for Samsung; it does not prove that OnePlus offers less support.

Compare durability claims by configuration and test conditions
OnePlus lists IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings and provides test conditions and limits on its product page. Samsung promotes water/dust resistance, Gorilla Glass Victus+ and 2m fall endurance on its 8GB/256GB listing. The exact IP rating was not established on the consulted 6GB/128GB page, so these claims should not be treated as a direct, equal-rating comparison.

A reliable current price gap between matching Nord CE 6 and Galaxy M47 configurations is not established by the official product pages reviewed. Samsung lists multiple memory configurations, so comparing different RAM or storage versions can mislead. A third-party report published on June 29, 2026, gave ₹22,999 for the Galaxy M47, but that is not confirmation of a current price for a particular variant or a matched Nord CE 6 price.

The Galaxy M47 listing also identifies June 29, 2026 as its launch date. Cinco Días / El País reported launch coverage; treat its price as a dated third-party report, not a current matched-price comparison.

Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the Nord CE 6 if its listed 144Hz 1.5K display, 8000mAh battery, 80W charging or 27W reverse charging best match your priorities.
- Consider the Galaxy M47 if microSD expansion or Samsung’s explicitly stated six-generation OS and six-year security-update policy matters more to you.
- Compare further before deciding if your choice hinges on gaming speed, camera quality, battery endurance, durability or price: the listed specifications do not resolve those questions, and prices should be checked for matching configurations.
