The 2025 OnePlus Nord CE 5 looks stronger on paper for processor, battery capacity, and rated charging speed. There is no dependable price winner without checking the same RAM and storage variant in stock at the same time.

Which phone has the better display?
The Edge 60 Fusion has the stronger listed display specification: Motorola documents a 6.67-inch 1.5K pOLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Comparison listings give the Nord CE 5 a slightly larger 6.77-inch, 1080 × 2392, 120 Hz screen. Choose Motorola if resolution and the specified pOLED panel matter more; the OnePlus offers the larger listed screen area. Specs alone do not establish brightness, color accuracy, or how either screen looks in use.

Performance: what the processor listings can—and cannot—tell you
Comparison sources list the Nord CE 5 with a Dimensity 8350 Apex, while Motorola’s India support page specifies a Dimensity 7400 for the Edge 60 Fusion. On those listed chips, the OnePlus is the more performance-oriented option on paper. No verified head-to-head benchmark or gaming test is available here, so this does not prove which phone runs a particular game faster or stays cooler under load.

Battery and charging: larger numbers favor OnePlus on paper
Comparison listings give the Nord CE 5 a 7,100 mAh battery and 80 W charging; Motorola’s official India specifications list 5,500 mAh and 68 W for the Edge 60 Fusion. Those figures favor OnePlus for battery capacity and rated charging speed, but they do not establish actual screen-on time or time to a full charge. Usage, network conditions, software, and charging conditions affect real results.
Cameras: don’t choose by megapixels alone
Listings put a 50 MP main camera on both phones. They list an 8 MP ultra-wide on the Nord CE 5 and a 13 MP ultra-wide on the Edge 60 Fusion; the front cameras are listed at 16 MP and 32 MP respectively. These resolutions do not establish which phone takes better photos or selfies. No controlled side-by-side camera test was verified, so choose based on sample images and independent testing for the scenes you care about rather than megapixel totals.

Water and dust resistance
The Edge 60 Fusion’s Motorola India specifications list IP68/69 protection. A comparison source reports IP65 for the Nord CE 5; that OnePlus rating is secondary-source data in this comparison. IP ratings describe defined resistance classifications, not a promise that a phone is damage-proof. Check the exact regional variant and warranty terms before relying on water-resistance claims.

Software updates
Motorola lists Android 15, three OS upgrades, and four years of security maintenance releases for the Edge 60 Fusion on its India support page. The Nord CE 5 is listed with Android 15 by a comparison source, but its support duration is not established here. Do not infer the 2025 Nord CE 5’s update promise from the older Nord CE 5G or another Nord generation.
India prices: the available figures are not a like-for-like comparison
As observed on 7 October 2026, 91mobiles showed the Nord CE 5 at ₹22,500 marked out of stock and the Edge 60 Fusion at ₹20,900 at Amazon. Separately, a OnePlus India anniversary page showed the Nord CE 5 from ₹24,999 against a displayed reference price of ₹28,999. These figures reflect different listing contexts; they do not establish a stable price gap between matching configurations. See the 91mobiles comparison listing and OnePlus India offer page.
Before deciding which is better value, compare the same RAM and storage configuration, retailer, stock status, and date. Prices and availability change, and the observed out-of-stock Nord listing is not a purchaseable offer.
Which one should you buy?
- Choose the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion if you prioritize its officially documented 1.5K pOLED display, IP68/69 rating, and stated India software-support schedule.
- Consider the OnePlus Nord CE 5 if processor, battery capacity, and rated charging speed are your priorities, while treating those specifications as comparison-source reporting.
- For gaming, battery life, camera quality, or long-term experience, look for independent tests of the exact regional variants. The listed specifications alone do not settle those real-world questions.
Make the final value decision only after checking current in-stock prices for matching configurations. Network compatibility, SIM setup, and specifications can vary by region.
Make sure you have the right Nord model
The Nord CE 5 in this comparison is the 2025 phone. It is not the older 2021 OnePlus Nord CE 5G. OnePlus’s surfaced legacy specifications page is for that 2021 model, whose Android 11, Snapdragon 750G, 4,500 mAh battery, and 64 MP camera details do not describe the 2025 Nord CE 5. The older page is available at OnePlus Nord CE 5G specifications.
