Specifications can vary by market or configuration. The phone makers’ pages are the primary references for their own claims: OnePlus Nord CE 5 and realme GT 7T. The screen and memory configuration figures above come from the cited comparison listing, not a guarantee that every retail variant has those specifications.

Which has the better screen?
Both phones have large 120Hz AMOLED displays. The comparison listing gives the GT 7T the higher resolution—1280 × 2800 versus 1080 × 2392 for the Nord CE 5—while the Nord’s listed screen is 6.77 inches and the GT 7T’s is 6.8 inches. That makes the GT 7T the stronger choice on listed pixel count; resolution alone does not establish which screen looks better in everyday use.
Which is faster, and which gives you more storage?
OnePlus lists a Dimensity 8350 Apex, while realme lists a Dimensity 8400-MAX. Those labels distinguish the processors, but the available evidence does not establish a matched independent performance test of both exact retail variants. It therefore does not support a categorical real-world speed or gaming winner.

OnePlus reports an AnTuTu score of 1,474,030 for the Nord CE 5 12GB variant in Performance Mode, measured by OnePlus Test Labs. That is a manufacturer lab result for one configuration, not an independent head-to-head comparison; it should not be treated as a direct score comparison with results from other sources.
For the compared 8GB RAM configurations, the listing shows 128GB storage for the Nord CE 5 and 256GB for the GT 7T. OnePlus advertises UFS 3.1 storage and realme advertises UFS 4.0. If you keep many large games, videos or offline files, check the exact capacity of the unit you plan to buy rather than assuming every variant matches this pair.

realme claims a 0–100% charge time of 42 minutes for the GT 7T under its stated test conditions. That is a manufacturer claim, not a guaranteed result for every user or charging situation. Battery capacity and rated charging speed do not establish comparative battery life; no matched runtime test is available here.

What do the camera specifications tell you?
OnePlus specifies a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultrawide camera. The comparison data lists a 16MP front camera. realme identifies an IMX896 camera, and the comparison listing gives the GT 7T a 50MP-plus-8MP rear-camera setup and a 32MP front camera.
The GT 7T has the higher listed selfie-camera resolution, but megapixels and sensor names alone cannot establish photo quality. The available information does not provide a controlled camera comparison, so choose based on the listed hardware only if those specifications matter to you; they are not proof that one phone takes better pictures.

How do their water-resistance ratings compare?
The cited Gadgets 360 comparison database lists IP65 for the Nord CE 5 and IP69 for the GT 7T; realme also promotes IP69 for its phone. The GT 7T therefore has the higher published rating in that comparison. Check that the rating applies to the exact regional SKU you are buying, and read the warranty terms: an IP rating does not by itself establish warranty coverage for liquid damage.

OnePlus says the Nord CE 5 is eligible for four Android OS version updates and six years of security updates via OTA. A directly comparable official update commitment for the GT 7T in India was not established in the cited information. That makes OnePlus’s stated policy easier to verify, but it is not enough to conclude that realme provides less support; confirm realme’s current India policy if update duration is a deciding factor.

What is the price difference in India?
There is no reliable single price gap in the available figures. OnePlus India’s product page displays a Nord CE 5 starting price of ₹24,999. Separately, Smartprix says its product details were last updated on September 15, 2026, and showed ₹34,999 for the Nord CE 5 and ₹30,998 for the GT 7T. Those figures are not a trustworthy same-time, same-configuration street-price comparison, and the marketplace-style amounts do not align with the official starting-price signal.
Before deciding which phone is better value, compare the same RAM and storage tier, seller, color availability, warranty and delivery region. Check whether bank or exchange offers apply to you, and note when you checked the price. Treat OnePlus’s displayed starting price as a manufacturer-listed starting figure, not a guaranteed live offer.
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the GT 7T based on listed specifications if you prioritize the higher listed display resolution, faster rated charging, the larger storage configuration in the compared 8GB RAM pair, or the higher published water-resistance rating. Its front camera also has the higher listed megapixel count, which alone does not prove better selfies.
- Consider the Nord CE 5 if its exact configuration is priced more attractively when you shop, you value its slightly larger stated battery capacity, or OnePlus’s explicit update commitment is important to you.
- Do not decide on processor, camera quality or battery life from the spec sheet alone. The available information does not include matched independent tests that settle those real-world comparisons.
Because the published price figures are not matched, the practical next step is to compare the exact variants available to you. If the price difference is small after offers and warranty are accounted for, choose according to the features above that matter most; if it is large, weigh those features against the actual saving rather than an assumed list-price gap.
