What the specification differences mean
Display
The Nord 6 lists a higher resolution and 165Hz refresh rate, compared with the CE 5’s 2392 × 1080 resolution and 120Hz. Those numbers indicate a spec-sheet advantage for the Nord 6, but they do not by themselves establish which screen looks better in use.
Performance
The listed chipsets are MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex in the CE 5 and Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 in the Nord 6. No independent benchmark results are established here, so the processor names alone should not be treated as a measured performance comparison.

Cameras
Both phones are listed with 50MP main and 8MP ultrawide rear cameras. The Nord 6 has a 32MP front camera, versus 16MP on the CE 5. Megapixel counts do not determine overall photo quality, and they are not a substitute for comparable camera testing.
Battery and software support
The listed capacities are 5,200mAh for the CE 5 and 9,000mAh for the Nord 6; both are listed with 80W charging. The larger rated capacity gives the Nord 6 the stronger battery specification, but capacity alone does not prove longer real-world battery life. OnePlus describes its duration figures as Test Lab data, provides test conditions, and cautions that actual use varies (OnePlus India’s Nord 6 page). Android Central also reports its own review experience, which is not a controlled head-to-head result (Android Central’s Nord 6 review).
OnePlus states that the Nord 6 will receive four Android OS updates and six years of security updates. The cited sources do not establish a directly comparable CE 5 support commitment.

Price difference: compare like with like
There is no single reliable price difference to calculate from the available figures: they mix an India retailer snapshot, India launch prices and UK list prices. The following amounts are tied to their stated country, source and price type.
| Phone and market | Reported price | What the figure represents |
|---|---|---|
| Nord 6, India | ₹46,999 | Amazon India listing shown in a 91mobiles page snapshot accessed in 2026; a listing price, not a guaranteed current price or stock status. |
| Nord CE 5 5G, India | ₹22,500 | Price shown in the same 91mobiles snapshot, marked out of stock; not confirmation of an available offer. |
| Nord 6, India | ₹38,999 (8GB/256GB); ₹41,999 (12GB/256GB) | India launch prices reported by Android Central in 2026, not the Amazon listing snapshot. |
| Nord CE 5 5G, UK | £299 (128GB); £349 (256GB) | UK list prices reported by TechRadar in its 2026 review. |
The ₹46,999 and ₹22,500 figures come from the same comparison-page snapshot, but the CE 5 was marked out of stock. The ₹38,999 and ₹41,999 figures are launch prices, while the pound-denominated CE 5 prices are UK list prices. Do not subtract prices across different countries, dates, sellers or price types and call the result a current price difference. Check the seller’s live price, availability and exact memory/storage configuration before buying.
Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the Nord 6 if you value its listed 1.5K 165Hz display, higher-resolution front camera, larger rated battery, or OnePlus’s stated update commitment.
- Consider the Nord CE 5 5G if you confirm a substantially lower local price and are satisfied with its 120Hz FHD+ display and 16MP front camera.
For either model, compare the same country, RAM/storage tier and seller, and verify stock at the time of purchase. Published specifications and prices can vary by market and listing.
