Which phone has the better display?
The Nord CE 5 has the stronger display specifications in the checked comparison. Its AMOLED panel has a listed resolution of 1080 × 2392, compared with the N6’s 720 × 1570 LCD. Both listings specify 120Hz refresh rates, and the N6 is nominally slightly larger at 6.8 inches versus 6.77 inches. Choose the Nord CE 5 if panel type and resolution matter more than that small size difference.
How do the cameras compare?
The Nord CE 5 gives you more framing options: its rear setup includes a 50MP main camera with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide. The N6 is listed with a 50MP main camera, but the checked comparison does not list an ultrawide. The comparison also lists a 16MP front camera for the Nord CE 5 and an 8MP one for the N6. Megapixel counts and camera specifications alone do not establish which phone takes better photos.
Which has the faster processor?
The Nord CE 5 uses a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex, while the N6 uses a Dimensity 6360 Apex. The 91mobiles benchmark snapshot favors the Nord CE 5, but one benchmark result should not be treated as a guarantee of performance across games, apps or everyday use.
Battery capacity and charging: what is the trade-off?
OnePlus lists a 7,100mAh battery and 80W SUPERVOOC charging for the Nord CE 5. For the N6, OnePlus lists 8,000mAh typical capacity (7,780mAh rated) and 45W SuperVOOC charging. The N6 has the larger stated capacity; the Nord CE 5 has the higher rated charging speed. Neither figure alone predicts real-world battery life, which varies with use.

OnePlus states that the Nord CE 5 is eligible for four Android OS version updates and six years of security updates via OTA. The N6’s official product page names OxygenOS 16, while 91mobiles lists two years of OS updates and three years of security updates. Because that N6 duration is not stated on the checked official product page, treat it as comparison-site information rather than an equivalent manufacturer-confirmed commitment.
Price difference in India
Prices observed on October 4, 2026, show why a single price gap can mislead. The 91mobiles comparison displayed the Nord CE 5 at ₹22,500 and marked it out of stock, while showing the N6 at ₹24,999 at Amazon. That is a displayed difference of ₹2,499, but it is not a reliable like-for-like street-price comparison given the stock status and possible variant differences.
Smartprix showed ₹23,267 for a 12GB/256GB Nord CE 5 and ₹24,999 for its listed N6 configuration; its product details were last updated September 27, 2026. On those displayed figures, the N6 is ₹1,732 higher. These are comparison-site snapshots, not fixed official prices. Check live retailer listings, stock and the RAM/storage configuration before comparing offers.
Which one should you buy?
Choose the Nord CE 5 5G if
- You prefer an AMOLED panel with the higher resolution listed in this comparison.
- You want an ultrawide rear camera in addition to the main camera.
- You value its faster stated charging and OnePlus’s stated four Android version updates and six years of security updates.
Consider the OnePlus N6 5G if
- You prioritize its larger stated battery capacity over faster charging.
- You are comfortable with an LCD screen at the lower resolution listed in the comparison.
- You do not need the ultrawide camera listed for the Nord CE 5.
Before choosing on price, confirm the N6’s exact memory and storage configuration: comparison listings may show different variants. The Nord CE 5 listing was marked out of stock in the October 4, 2026 91mobiles snapshot, so verify availability rather than assuming that displayed price can be purchased.
