One free scan finds every outdated or missing driver and matches the right update for your exact hardware.Free scan · exact hardware matchThe OnePlus Nord 6 is the more conventional choice for buyers prioritizing a large battery, fast wired charging and a flat high-refresh-rate screen. Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold8 is built for a different job: it opens into a 7.6-inch workspace while retaining a 5.5-inch cover screen. There is no reliable like-for-like price gap to quote without choosing a country, storage tier, seller and date.
How the phones differ
These are not close substitutes in format. The Nord 6 is a conventional flat-screen phone; Samsung’s Fold8 is a book-style foldable with a smaller outer screen for closed-phone use and a larger 4:3 inner screen when unfolded. The Fold’s appeal is its expanded workspace, while the Nord’s listed hardware emphasizes battery capacity and wired charging.

Which screen format suits you?
Choose the Nord 6’s flat display for ordinary phone use
The Nord 6 has one flat AMOLED display, specified at 165Hz and 1.5K resolution. OnePlus also markets the device around gaming and cites 165 FPS gaming claims. That marketing figure is not a guarantee that every game will run at that frame rate; the result depends on the game and conditions.
Choose the Fold8 for a larger unfolded workspace
The Fold8 offers a 5.5-inch cover screen for use while closed and a 7.6-inch inner display with a 4:3 aspect ratio when opened. That larger canvas is the central distinction: it can make sense for people who want a phone that also opens into a broader viewing or multitasking area. It is a different priority from simply choosing a conventional phone with a fast-refresh-rate screen.

Battery and charging: capacity is not battery life
OnePlus lists a 9000mAh battery and 80W wired charging for the Nord 6; Samsung lists 4800mAh and 45W wired charging for the Fold8. These are manufacturer specifications, not a controlled comparison of actual endurance or charging time. Battery life also depends on use, settings and network conditions.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsSamsung separately claims up to 26 hours of continuous video playback for the Fold8 under its stated conditions. That vendor figure should not be treated as a directly comparable test against the Nord 6; no independent, controlled head-to-head battery test is established here. Performance and cameras: what the specifications do—and do not—show
Performance
OnePlus identifies a Snapdragon 8 series platform and promotes gaming performance; Samsung specifies Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy. The available product information does not establish a controlled head-to-head benchmark, so it is not enough to declare one phone faster in real use.
Cameras
The Nord 6 lists a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 32MP front camera. Samsung lists two 50MP rear cameras—a wide and an ultra-wide—and 10MP cameras on both the cover and inner screens. Megapixel counts describe resolution, not overall image quality; they do not settle how the phones compare in different lighting or shooting situations.

Price difference: no defensible single figure
A price gap depends on market, storage configuration, seller and the date prices are checked. The available India third-party comparison listing is not a dependable basis for a definitive current difference: another comparison page surfaced a different Nord 6 figure, and neither amount establishes a same-market, same-tier checkout comparison. The Samsung sources are a US product page and a Gulf guide, not a matching current checkout price in a specified market.
For a useful comparison, check both phones in the same country and on the same day, match storage tiers where possible, and distinguish list prices from promotions. Keep trade-in offers and financing terms separate; they can change the amount paid without changing the underlying list-price gap. The third-party listing is at 91mobiles, but it should be treated as a price snapshot rather than an authoritative current quote.

Which one should you buy?
- Consider the OnePlus Nord 6 if you want a conventional flat-screen phone and prioritize its listed 9000mAh battery, 80W wired charging or 165Hz display.
- Consider the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 if a foldable format and its 7.6-inch inner display are the features you value most, and you will make use of the larger unfolded workspace.
- Compare local checkout prices before deciding on value. The available information does not support a universal price difference between them.
