The OnePlus Nord 6 is the paper-spec choice for a larger screen and a higher-tier listed processor; the realme 16 5G stands out for its higher-resolution selfie camera and clearly specified 60 W charging. Their battery figures also favor realme on the available manufacturer claims, but neither phone’s real-world battery life or camera quality can be judged from specifications alone. Prices reported for the two phones come from different listings, so there is no reliable fixed price gap to quote.

Which phone is better for performance and display?
On the listed hardware, the Nord 6 is the more fitting choice if you want the larger display or prioritize its Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. Its screen is listed at 6.78 inches, compared with 6.57 inches for the realme 16. realme provides more display detail on its specification page: FHD+ 2372 × 1080 resolution and a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz. The cited Nord 6 comparison listing establishes screen size and AMOLED type, but not equivalent resolution or refresh-rate details.
These are specification-sheet distinctions, not evidence that one screen looks better or that one phone performs faster in your particular apps. No comparable hands-on or benchmark results are established by the cited pages.

How do the cameras compare?
Front camera
realme specifies a 50 MP, f/2.4 front camera; 91mobiles lists the Nord 6 front camera at 32 MP. That makes realme’s selfie camera higher in stated resolution, but megapixels alone do not show which phone produces better selfies. Sensor, processing, lighting, and other factors matter, and the available specifications do not provide a controlled image-quality comparison.
Rear cameras
The Nord 6 comparison listing gives a 50 MP primary rear camera. realme lists a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP monochrome camera. The extra listed camera does not, by itself, establish an advantage in everyday photography; the supplied specifications do not establish comparative image quality.
What do the battery figures tell you?
OnePlus advertises a 9000 mAh battery for the Nord 6. realme specifies 7000 mAh typical capacity, 6830 mAh rated capacity, and 60 W fast charging for the realme 16 5G. The typical and rated figures are different manufacturer measures, so they should not be treated as interchangeable. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements of screen-on time or charging duration. The cited Nord 6 launch page advertises capacity but does not establish a comparable charging rate in the material cited here.

What is the price difference?
The available figures do not establish a like-for-like price gap. OnePlus India’s product page displayed ₹42,999 for the Nord 6 8 GB/256 GB configuration when accessed in 2026. The 91mobiles comparison page showed ₹46,999 for the Nord 6 and ₹36,999 for the realme 16, but those reported prices need not reflect the same seller, offer, configuration, or moment. realme’s official specification and product pages do not establish a current official price.
Before deciding which is better value, compare live listings for the same RAM and storage tier, and check the seller and applicable offer. The realme 16 is listed in 8 GB/256 GB and 12 GB/256 GB configurations, matching the Nord 6 configurations shown in the comparison data; realme also lists an 8 GB/128 GB option. Prices can change, so the cited snapshots are not checkout guarantees.
Which one should you buy?
- Choose the Nord 6 based on the listed specs if a 6.78-inch display or its listed Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor is your priority.
- Consider the realme 16 5G if you prioritize its specified 50 MP front camera, 60 W charging, or the manufacturer’s stated battery capacities.
- Check the exact configuration and current price before making a value decision; compare equivalent RAM and storage rather than prices from unmatched listings.
Neither choice can be declared the better camera phone, longer-lasting phone, or better value from these specifications alone. Those judgments require comparable real-world results and current like-for-like pricing.
