For India buyers, the OnePlus Nord 6 and Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ are evenly priced in their matching 12GB/256GB configurations in a June 8, 2026 comparison: ₹47,999 each. The Nord 6 also has a less expensive 8GB/256GB option, while the Motorola adds a dedicated telephoto camera and wireless charging. The right choice depends more on those differences—and on battery, display and software-support priorities—than on a headline price gap.
Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ if you want a dedicated telephoto lens, 3.5× optical zoom as reported by 91mobiles, or wireless charging.
- Choose the OnePlus Nord 6 if you value its larger stated battery, higher refresh-rate display, longer update commitment reported by 91mobiles, or lower-priced 8GB/256GB configuration.

Camera differences: a third lens changes framing options
The Edge 70 Pro+ has a dedicated 50MP periscope telephoto camera, alongside its main and ultrawide cameras. 91mobiles reports 3.5× optical zoom. That gives it a hardware option for tighter framing that the Nord 6’s listed two-camera rear setup does not provide.
The Nord 6 has a 50MP main and an 8MP ultrawide camera. The Motorola’s 50MP front-camera resolution also exceeds the Nord’s listed 32MP resolution. Those numbers describe sensor resolution and lens configuration; they do not establish which phone takes better photos. The cited comparison says it had not completed a direct head-to-head test, so there is no substantiated image-quality winner here.

Battery and display: capacity is not the same as endurance
The Nord 6 lists a 9,000mAh battery, compared with 6,500mAh for the Motorola. It also supports a stated maximum refresh rate of 165Hz versus 144Hz. Motorola counters with 90W wired charging and 15W wireless charging; the Nord lists 80W wired charging and no wireless charging.
Rank #2
- 5G Enabled - The OnePlus Nord N20 is the perfect entry-level 5G phone, featuring premium specs and an affordable price. *5G compatible with most GSM service providers (T-Mobile, AT&T, Etc). Will not work with CDMA Carriers. Check with your service provider for compatibility.
- Display: Features a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with 128GB of storage and 68 minutes of battery life
- Camera: Includes a 5MP front camera and 5G connectivity for fast wireless speeds
- Memory: Comes with 6GB of RAM and a 4500mAh battery for extended use
- Security: Equipped with a fingerprint sensor for quick and secure access
A larger rated capacity does not by itself prove longer real-world battery life: usage, display settings, software and other conditions affect endurance. Likewise, refresh-rate and peak-brightness specifications do not alone determine overall display quality. Treat these as feature trade-offs, not controlled performance results.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Performance and software support
The Nord 6 uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, while the Edge 70 Pro+ uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500 Extreme. 91mobiles characterized their specifications as suggesting similar performance but stated it had not tested the two phones directly against each other. There is therefore no verified head-to-head performance result in the cited material.
Both are listed with Android 16 at launch, using OxygenOS 16 on the OnePlus and Hello UI on the Motorola. The 91mobiles comparison reports four major OS upgrades and six years of security patches for the Nord 6, versus three major OS upgrades and five years of security patches for the Motorola. These are commitments attributed to that dated comparison, not independent measurements of update delivery.

Bottom line by buyer priority
- Camera framing: The Edge 70 Pro+ is the more versatile hardware package because it adds a periscope telephoto camera; this does not prove better overall photos.
- Battery capacity and refresh rate: The Nord 6 has the higher stated battery capacity and refresh-rate ceiling.
- Charging flexibility: Motorola offers wireless charging as well as faster stated wired charging.
- Price and support: The matching 12GB/256GB prices were equal in 91mobiles’ June 8, 2026 comparison; the Nord has a cheaper 8GB/256GB option and the longer update commitment reported there.
