Performance: named chipset versus measured results
OnePlus identifies the Nord 6’s platform as Snapdragon 8s Gen 4; iQOO identifies the 15R’s as Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. The iQOO’s higher-tier-sounding model name is not, by itself, a controlled comparison of everyday speed, sustained gaming performance or heat. No independent head-to-head benchmark is available here, so choose based on the games and workloads you use rather than treating the names as a measured ranking.

OnePlus advertises a 165 FPS BGMI test mode for the Nord 6, but its cited test used the 12GB model, Pro Gamer mode, Adaptive Frame Booster, specified game settings, a 280-nit display and 75dB volume. That result is a vendor test under defined conditions, not a guarantee that every game, configuration or session will run at that frame rate. OnePlus describes the Nord 6 and its test conditions.
Display: refresh rate is only one part of the experience
The Nord 6 has the higher advertised refresh rate at 165Hz; the iQOO 15R is specified at 144Hz on a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel. A higher refresh rate can support smoother motion when content and software use it, but it does not establish overall display quality. Resolution, brightness, calibration and the apps or games that support high refresh rates matter too. The supplied specifications do not provide a controlled side-by-side display assessment.

Battery capacity and charging speed
OnePlus lists a 9,000mAh battery and 80W charging for the Nord 6. It also advertises up to 26.9 hours of YouTube playback based on its own 2026 lab testing under stated conditions; real usage varies with settings, signal, content and workload. iQOO lists a 7,600mAh typical battery and 100W charging for the 15R. The larger listed capacity favors the Nord on paper, while the iQOO has the higher wired charging wattage. Neither capacity nor wattage alone establishes actual endurance or time to recharge, and there is no independent controlled battery comparison here.
Cameras: compare the hardware carefully
Both phones list a 50MP stabilized main camera and a 32MP front camera. iQOO additionally specifies an 8MP ultrawide rear camera. OnePlus’s cited Nord 6 specification identifies its 50MP Sony main camera with OIS, but does not establish a complete rear-camera configuration for a like-for-like comparison here. Megapixel counts and optical stabilization do not show which phone takes better photos; no controlled comparative image test is available.

Software support and launch timing
OnePlus states that the Nord 6 will receive four Android OS updates and six years of security updates. For the iQOO 15R, 91mobiles reports four years of OS updates and six years of security updates, but that secondary report is not a substitute for iQOO’s own precise support policy. Confirm the commitment directly with iQOO before treating the periods as equivalent. 91mobiles reports official launch dates of April 7, 2026 for the Nord 6 and February 24, 2026 for the 15R. 91mobiles comparison and reported dates.

Which one should you buy?
- Choose the OnePlus Nord 6 if the dated lower offer price, 9,000mAh listed capacity or 165Hz stated refresh rate best match your priorities—and the price is still available to you under the campaign’s conditions.
- Choose the iQOO 15R if its specified Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform, 100W charging or explicitly listed ultrawide camera matter more than the higher official-store price.
- Pause before deciding if camera quality, real-world battery life or long-term update parity is decisive: the cited specifications do not settle those comparisons, so seek independent tests and confirm iQOO’s official support terms.
