The OnePlus Nord 6 and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra target very different buyers: the Nord 6 is a conventional smartphone, while the Fold8 Ultra is built around an 8-inch inner display. In an India price comparison listing, the Fold8 Ultra is ₹153,000 more expensive—but that figure is not a confirmed live checkout price or a like-for-like configuration comparison.
At a glance: a regular phone or a foldable?
The Nord 6 is the simpler choice if you want a standard phone with a high-refresh display, a large advertised battery and fast wired charging. Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is designed to open into a much larger screen for productivity and content creation. Its appeal depends on whether that foldable workspace is worth the substantial price premium in your market.

The specification details above come from manufacturer announcements and product pages, except for the India price entries, which come from a third-party comparison page. They do not constitute a controlled head-to-head test. Samsung’s July announcement confirms the 8-inch main display, but the cited material does not establish a complete, final Samsung specification set for a precise spec-for-spec comparison.
How much more does the Fold8 Ultra cost?
On the 91mobiles comparison page, the listed India prices are ₹46,999 for the Nord 6 and ₹199,999 for the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra: a difference of ₹153,000 using those displayed figures. The listing does not establish that the prices are live checkout totals or that both products are shown with equivalent storage configurations. Treat the gap as a snapshot from that comparison listing, not a verified current retail quote.

OnePlus places the Nord 6 in the ₹35,000–₹40,000 smartphone segment in its India launch positioning. That segment description is not the same as a current retailer price, so it should not be substituted for the ₹46,999 listing or presented as a universal price.
What the Nord 6’s specifications mean in practice
Display
OnePlus lists a 165Hz AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2772 × 1272. That makes the Nord 6’s display a high-refresh conventional-phone screen; it is not a substitute for the Fold8 Ultra’s much larger 8-inch inner display. OnePlus’s specifications are manufacturer-published, not independently measured in a comparison test.
Battery and charging
OnePlus lists a 9000 mAh battery and 80W charging. The company also promotes battery-life and gaming estimates based on its own testing, including a claim of more than 2.5 days of battery life. OnePlus cautions that real-world experience varies; those estimates should not be treated as independent results or as a guarantee for every user.
Cameras
The official Nord 6 page lists a 50MP Sony main camera with dual-axis optical image stabilization and a 32MP front camera, and advertises 4K video capture at 60 frames per second. Those details describe the Nord 6’s published camera capabilities; they do not establish that it takes better photos or video than the Fold8 Ultra.
Rank #2
- 5G Enabled - The OnePlus Nord N20 is the perfect entry-level 5G phone, featuring premium specs and an affordable price. *5G compatible with most GSM service providers (T-Mobile, AT&T, Etc). Will not work with CDMA Carriers. Check with your service provider for compatibility.
- Display: Features a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with 128GB of storage and 68 minutes of battery life
- Camera: Includes a 5MP front camera and 5G connectivity for fast wireless speeds
- Memory: Comes with 6GB of RAM and a 4500mAh battery for extended use
- Security: Equipped with a fingerprint sensor for quick and secure access
When the Fold8 Ultra’s larger screen is worth considering
Samsung positions the Fold8 Ultra around productivity and content creation, with an 8-inch main display. That form factor can make a large screen the central reason to choose it: consider whether you regularly want more room for reading, working with content or viewing media on your phone. The available specifications do not quantify how much faster or more productive it makes those tasks, so the value is personal rather than a measured performance advantage.
For a fair purchase comparison, check the current price and storage variant in your own market, then weigh the foldable screen against the Nord 6’s listed display, battery and charging specifications. Camera quality and software-support expectations also matter, but the cited material does not provide a controlled camera comparison or a software-support comparison between the two devices.
Release dates and availability context
OnePlus identifies April 7, 2026 as the Nord 6’s India launch date. An OnePlus Experience Store timeline says the phone became available to buy through Amazon India from April 9, 2026; that is an availability statement from the store timeline, not a current Amazon listing. Samsung announced the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra on August 6, 2026 and said rollout of its new lineup would begin worldwide on August 7 across 106 markets. Announcement and rollout dates do not guarantee current stock or availability in every country.

Which one should you choose?
- Choose the Nord 6 if you want a conventional smartphone and its published 165Hz display, 9000 mAh battery and 80W charging specifications fit your priorities.
- Consider the Fold8 Ultra if the 8-inch inner display is a core reason for your purchase and you expect to use the larger screen for productivity or content creation.
- Compare local listings before paying if the price difference is decisive. The ₹153,000 gap comes from displayed India prices on a third-party comparison page, not verified current checkout totals or confirmed equivalent storage variants.
