Those are promising specifications, but they do not establish real-world speed, battery life or camera quality. With no verified current price or independent test results available here, whether it is worth buying depends on the price and configuration in your market.

What stands out on paper
High-resolution, high-refresh display
The 6.74-inch panel combines a 2772 × 1240 resolution with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. That is a substantial spec sheet for a phone in this range, but it cannot tell you how accurate the colors are, how readable the screen is outdoors or how consistently it maintains high brightness. OnePlus lists peak brightness up to 2,150 nits on its Greece page; that is a manufacturer figure, not an independently measured everyday brightness result.
Modern processor and fast storage
OnePlus specifies the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage. These components suggest a capable hardware foundation, but the specifications alone do not establish benchmark scores, sustained performance, gaming frame rates or how the phone handles heat. Those judgments require testing under defined conditions.

Large battery and high-rated charging
The listed 5,500mAh typical capacity and 100W SUPERVOOC charging rate are notable headline numbers. They do not reveal how long the phone lasts between charges or how quickly it charges from empty in normal use; those results depend on settings, workload, temperature and charger compatibility. OnePlus says the 100W adapter is sold separately on its Singapore product page, so check the regional listing and the package contents before assuming it is included.
OnePlus also said in its 2024 launch announcement that its testing showed the battery could exceed 1,600 charging cycles over four years while retaining more than 80% of its original capacity. That is the manufacturer’s test claim, not an independently verified longevity result. The announcement does not make it a guarantee of the capacity any individual phone will retain.
Explicit update commitment
OnePlus announced four major Android updates and six years of security updates for the Nord 4. This is a useful stated support policy, but it does not establish the phone’s current software version, the timing of a particular update in your region or how promptly updates will arrive. The commitment was included in the company’s product information and its July 16, 2024 launch announcement.
Camera hardware: what the specifications do and do not say
The rear system consists of a 50MP Sony main camera with optical and electronic image stabilization and an 8MP ultra-wide camera; the front camera is 16MP. OnePlus’s detailed specifications identify the main sensor as a Sony LYTIA unit with a 1/1.95-inch sensor size and f/1.8 aperture. This confirms the listed hardware, not how well the cameras handle low light, moving subjects, skin tones, video stabilization or switching between lenses.

There are no independent photo or video comparisons established here, so a definitive camera-quality verdict would be premature. If camera performance is a deciding factor, look for sample images and video from the exact retail software version and compare them with phones available at the same local price.

Points to check before buying
- Independent display, performance, battery endurance and camera test results are not established here, so real-world quality cannot be concluded from the specification sheet.
- The 100W adapter is sold separately on the cited Singapore page; regional bundle contents may differ.
- OnePlus lists 12GB/256GB and 16GB/512GB options, but says availability depends on actual sales. Confirm the configuration offered in your country.
- No current local price, stock status or current software rollout status is established here.
Is the OnePlus Nord 4 worth buying?
The Nord 4 has an appealing specification mix: a high-resolution 120Hz display, a modern Qualcomm platform, generous listed memory and storage choices, a 5,500mAh battery and a clear long-term update commitment. The camera hardware also includes stabilization on the main sensor. These are reasons to consider it, not proof that it outperforms similarly priced phones in daily use.
A confident value verdict needs two things not established here: the phone’s current price and configuration in your market, and independent evidence for battery life, sustained performance, display quality and camera results. Compare those details before buying, and include the cost of a compatible adapter if the local package does not contain one. OnePlus announced the Nord 4 on July 16, 2024; its launch date does not establish current availability or price.
