On the specifications reported by two comparison sites, the Moto g max 5G has the sharper screen, the extra ultra-wide rear camera, the better front camera and 6 GB of RAM against the OnePlus N6 5G’s 4 GB. The OnePlus N6 5G counters with a larger 8000 mAh battery and 45 W charging, against 7000 mAh and 30 W on the Moto. The Moto is also listed at a higher price in India, by ₹2,000 to ₹3,000 depending on the page. Treat every figure below as a reported value, not a confirmed one: we could not find either model on the official OnePlus or Motorola product pages when preparing this article, so model identity, launch status and full spec sheets still need checking against the manufacturers before you buy.
Quick comparison
The table below lists the values shown on the 91mobiles comparison page, the most complete of the two listings. Where the Gadgets Now page shows a different price, it is covered in the price section.

What is and is not confirmed
Both comparison pages describe a broadly similar hardware profile, and both name Android 16 as the operating system. Neither page is an official manufacturer source. A search limited to the OnePlus and Motorola official domains returned no matching product pages, so the existence of these exact model names, their official launch status and their full specifications are not independently verified here. No standardised benchmark scores or real-world battery tests are attributed to a named publisher, so this article does not rank performance.

They should not be used as a final buying decision until the model is confirmed on the manufacturer’s site or a live retailer listing.
#1 Best Overall
- 6.78 inches, AMOLED, 1B colors, 1272 x 2772 pixels
- 256GB Storage, 8GB RAM
- Android 16, Qualcomm SM7635-AC Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 (4 nm), Octa-core (1x2.7 GHz Cortex-A720 & 3x2.4 GHz Cortex-A720 & 4x1.8 GHz Cortex-A520)
- Rear: 50 MP, f/1.8, 27mm (wide), 1/2.88", 0.61µm, PDAF, OIS, Auxiliary lens, Front: 32 MP, f/2.0, 21mm (wide), 1/3.1", 0.7µm
Display: resolution and sharpness
Both phones are listed with a 120 Hz LCD panel, so refresh rate does not separate them. The difference is resolution. The OnePlus is listed at 720 × 1570 on a 6.8-inch panel, which works out to roughly 254 pixels per inch. The Moto is listed at 1080 × 2400 on a 6.72-inch panel, roughly 392 pixels per inch. These densities are our arithmetic from the reported figures, not measured values.
In practical terms, text and fine detail should look noticeably crisper on the Moto. The OnePlus figure is well below full HD+, so if sharp text and image detail matter to you, the reported screen is the clearest specification gap between the two.
Cameras
The OnePlus N6 5G is listed with a single 50 MP primary rear camera and an 8 MP front camera. The Moto g max 5G adds an 8 MP ultra-wide rear lens to the same 50 MP primary camera, and its front camera is listed at 32 MP.

Rank #2
- Large 5000mAh Battery: Provides long-lasting power for all-day use
- 6.49 Inch Full HD+ Display: Features a 90Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and vivid visuals
- Octa-Core Processor: Runs at lightning-fast speeds for seamless multitasking
- Triple Camera System: Includes 13MP main, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth lenses for crisp, detailed photos
- 5G Capable: Connects to the fastest network speeds for lightning-fast downloads and streaming
If you shoot wide group photos or landscapes, the ultra-wide lens is the main reason to prefer the Moto. The reported front camera gap is also large: 32 MP against 8 MP. Neither listing gives image-quality results, low-light performance or lens-level details beyond these megapixel figures, so the comparison here covers lens coverage and sensor resolution only.
Battery and charging
The OnePlus is listed with an 8000 mAh battery and 45 W charging. The Moto is listed at 7000 mAh with 30 W charging. The battery is 1000 mAh larger on the OnePlus.
These are rated capacities and rated charging powers. Neither listing reports measured battery life or charge times, and capacity alone does not show how long either phone will last under your own use. Charging speed is also a rated figure: the faster 45 W rating suggests the OnePlus should reach a higher charge level sooner, but the actual time depends on the charger, cable and conditions used.

Processor, RAM and storage
The two phones use different chipsets: a MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex on the OnePlus and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 on the Moto. Neither listing gives benchmark results, so this article does not say which chip is faster in games or everyday tasks.
Both are listed with 128 GB of storage. The RAM differs: 4 GB on the OnePlus and 6 GB on the Moto. Where multitasking and keeping many apps in memory matter to you, the reported 6 GB is the higher figure, but the listings do not show how either phone performs under sustained load.
Software
Both phones are listed on Android 16. The OnePlus runs OxygenOS, and the Moto runs Hello UI. The software layers differ in presentation and built-in features, and the listings do not describe those differences in detail, so this comparison does not rate one interface above the other.

Price difference in India
Both comparison pages show prices in Indian rupees, and the two listings disagree on the Moto price. The OnePlus is ₹24,999 on both. The Moto is ₹27,999 on the 91mobiles page and ₹26,999 on the Gadgets Now page.
| Source | OnePlus N6 5G | Moto g max 5G | Difference (Moto higher by) |

| 91mobiles comparison page | ₹24,999 (Amazon shown) | ₹27,999 (Flipkart shown) | ₹3,000 (about 12% of the OnePlus price) |
| Gadgets Now comparison page | ₹24,999 | ₹26,999 | ₹2,000 (about 8% of the OnePlus price) |
Neither comparison page states the date on which its prices were captured, and aggregator prices change often. Treat the figures above as a guide to the gap, not as current prices. Before buying, check the following:

- Open the retailer listing for the exact model and confirm the variant shows 4 GB RAM with 128 GB storage for the OnePlus, and 6 GB RAM with 128 GB storage for the Moto.
- Compare the price on the seller’s own page, including any bank offers or delivery charges shown at checkout.
- Confirm the seller is listed as the retailer and check its stock status on the day you order.
- Check the model number against the manufacturer’s official product page, since the official pages could not be located for this comparison.
Which phone fits which priority
On the reported figures, the choice depends on what you value most:
- Screen sharpness and wide-angle photos: the Moto g max 5G, with its 1080 × 2400 display and 8 MP ultra-wide rear camera, is the stronger option on paper.
- Selfies: the Moto’s 32 MP front camera is listed at four times the resolution of the OnePlus’s 8 MP camera.
- Battery capacity and fast charging: the OnePlus N6 5G, with 8000 mAh and 45 W charging, leads on both counts.
- Lower price: the OnePlus is listed at ₹2,000 to ₹3,000 less, and the lower figure is the one that applies to a price the Moto retailer also shows lower.
- More RAM: the Moto’s listed 6 GB is higher than the OnePlus’s 4 GB.
If you want the cheaper phone with the bigger battery and faster charging, and you are not concerned about screen resolution or the ultra-wide lens, the OnePlus N6 5G is the better fit on these listings. If you prioritise display detail, camera coverage and RAM, and can spend a little more, the Moto g max 5G is the stronger match on paper. Confirm the model and price before choosing either.
