OnePlus 15R: higher-tier platform on paper
OnePlus lists the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 alongside LPDDR5X Ultra memory and UFS 4.1 storage. Its 165Hz 1.5K display also has the higher stated refresh rate of the pair. Those specifications make the 15R the more compelling starting point if processor tier, fast storage or high-refresh gaming is your priority.

realme lists a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, with a display that supports up to 144Hz. The published specifications do not establish how either phone performs in sustained gaming, under heat, or in particular games. They are not a substitute for comparable hands-on tests or benchmark results.
Which has the more useful camera setup?
The realme 16 Pro+ is positioned around a 200MP camera and lists a 50MP front camera. OnePlus specifies a 50MP Sony IMX906 main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide and a 32MP front camera. In other words, realme leads on stated camera resolution, while OnePlus lists a specific main sensor with optical image stabilization and a separate ultrawide camera.
Megapixel counts alone do not show which phone takes better photos. No independent head-to-head camera test is established here, so choose based on the camera features you value rather than assuming the higher resolution produces better images.
