The OnePlus 15R has the larger listed battery and a display with published resolution and refresh-rate figures; the Motorola Signature adds wireless charging and offers more memory and storage configurations. Both list the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, but matching chip names do not establish equal real-world performance. A reliable price difference cannot be calculated from the available figures: the OnePlus prices below are dated review-reported amounts, while Motorola directs buyers to local pricing information.

Battery and charging: capacity versus options
OnePlus lists a 7,400mAh typical battery capacity and a 7,250mAh rated capacity for the 15R. Motorola lists a 5,200mAh silicon-carbon battery for the Signature. OnePlus calls its 7,400mAh pack “Our Biggest Battery Ever with 7,400 mAh”; that is the company’s product-line claim, not an independent measure of endurance (OnePlus 15R product page).

The OnePlus US specification page lists 55W SUPERVOOC. Its product page says it can reach up to 80W with the specific OnePlus SUPERVOOC 100W Dual Ports GaN Power Adapter Lite. Motorola lists 90W wired charging as well as 50W wireless charging. The cited OnePlus pages do not list wireless charging.

The larger listed OnePlus capacity does not prove it lasts longer in everyday use: screen settings, network conditions, software and workload affect battery life, and no comparative battery test is established here. Choose by the capacity figures if that is your priority, or by the Motorola’s stated wireless-charging option if you want to charge without plugging in.
Display: more published detail for OnePlus
OnePlus specifies the 15R’s 6.83-inch display at 2800 × 1272 pixels, with an adaptive refresh rate up to 165Hz. Motorola identifies the Signature’s 6.8-inch panel as Extreme AMOLED in the cited support material, but that source does not state its resolution or refresh rate. These partial specifications are not enough to declare one display better; they do show that OnePlus publishes more of the comparison figures here.
Performance, memory and storage
Both manufacturers list the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. That shared processor name is not a head-to-head speed result: no comparative performance testing is available here, and real-world behavior can also depend on cooling, software and configuration.
On the cited US specifications, the 15R pairs 12GB LPDDR5X Ultra memory with 256GB or 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. Motorola lists 12GB or 16GB LPDDR5X memory and storage options up to 1TB. The Signature therefore has the higher stated memory and storage ceilings, while OnePlus specifies its storage type. Confirm that the desired tier is actually sold in your region.

Cameras: compare the hardware, not an untested winner
OnePlus specifies a 50MP Sony IMX906 main camera with optical stabilization, an 8MP ultrawide and a 32MP autofocus front camera. Lenovo’s launch announcement characterizes the Motorola Signature as having four 50MP cameras (Lenovo StoryHub announcement). That is the manufacturer’s camera description, not independent evidence that the Signature takes better photos.
The cited Motorola support specification page does not provide a matching detailed camera breakdown for a like-for-like hardware table. Without a controlled comparison of photos and video, neither the sensor counts nor megapixel totals establish which phone produces better results.
Price difference: no verified like-for-like comparison
TechRadar’s May 2026 review reported US OnePlus 15R prices of $699.99 for 256GB and $799.99 for 512GB, and UK prices of £649 for 256GB and £729 for 512GB. These are dated third-party reported prices, not live official quotes; check the current local listing before treating them as available today (TechRadar’s OnePlus 15R review).
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesMotorola’s official Signature news page directs readers to local PR for price and availability rather than providing a matched price list (Motorola News: Signature). As a result, the available evidence does not establish how much more—or less—the Signature costs against either OnePlus storage tier in the same market.
Quick Recap
- Compare the same country and storage tier, and check whether memory configurations differ.
- Use current local prices rather than comparing an old review figure with a current offer.
- Factor in discounts, local warranty, availability and supported network bands before deciding that one is the better value.
Which phone fits your priorities?
- Consider the OnePlus 15R if its larger stated battery capacity, published 165Hz maximum refresh rate, 50MP stabilized main camera, or 256GB/512GB storage options suit your priorities.
- Consider the Motorola Signature if you want stated wireless charging, higher listed wired charging power, or the option of up to 16GB memory and 1TB storage—subject to local SKU availability.
- Compare before choosing on price or speed if either is decisive: the available prices are not a current matched pair, and the shared processor listing does not substitute for a comparative performance test.
