At the eligible prices Digit reported on 9 October 2026, the iQOO 15R is the better-value buy: its reported effective price is ₹45,105, about ₹10,144 below the OnePlus 15R’s ₹55,249 offer. That iQOO figure includes a coupon and eligible cashback, so it is not a guaranteed price for every Amazon shopper. Choose the OnePlus instead if you prefer OxygenOS 16 or want the larger display. Check your own Amazon checkout total before deciding.

Both manufacturers list the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 as the main processor. Digit also notes a Q2 gaming chip in the iQOO 15R, but the available information does not establish that it delivers faster or more stable gaming in matched testing. Treat the shared processor name as a useful starting point, not proof that performance, heat or battery life will be identical in demanding use.

Which display suits you?
Choose OnePlus for a larger screen
Digit lists the OnePlus panel at 6.83 inches, compared with 6.59 inches for iQOO. The larger OnePlus display is the more natural fit if you prefer more screen area for video, reading or games. Its listed maximum refresh rate is 165Hz.
Choose iQOO if resolution matters more than screen size
Digit describes iQOO’s display as 1.5K, while OnePlus is listed as FHD+. However, there is a conflict over iQOO’s refresh rate: Digit says up to 144Hz, but iQOO’s official parameter page specifies 130Hz for normal scenes and separately lists 360Hz touch sampling for gaming. Those are not interchangeable specifications. Verify the exact model and operating conditions with iQOO before treating 144Hz as a confirmed display rate.
Battery capacity is not an endurance test
iQOO lists a 7,600mAh battery with 100W charging; OnePlus advertises a 7,400mAh battery, and Digit reports 80W charging for the OnePlus. On rated capacity and wired charging figures, iQOO has the advantage. These specifications alone do not show which phone lasts longer in everyday use: no matched battery test is established here. OnePlus describes its capacity as “Our Biggest Battery Ever with 7,400 mAh”; that is the manufacturer’s claim, not an independent assessment. See the OnePlus product specifications and iQOO product parameters.

Software, cameras and gaming: what the evidence can—and cannot—settle
Software
The OnePlus runs OxygenOS 16 and the iQOO runs OriginOS 6. Digit favors OnePlus for software experience and describes its design as more polished; that is the publication’s assessment, not a measured result. iQOO’s e-store states four years of OS updates and six years of security updates. If the interface and support commitment matter more to you than battery capacity or sale savings, weigh those preferences against trying the software you will use every day.
Cameras
Digit lists the same headline resolution arrangement on both phones: a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide and a 32MP selfie camera. iQOO identifies its main sensor as Sony LYT-700V and lists optical image stabilisation. Megapixel counts and a sensor name do not establish a camera winner; there is no matched photo comparison here, so choose based on direct sample images or a hands-on test if photography is your deciding factor.
Gaming
The shared Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 makes both relevant to buyers considering high-performance play, while Digit lists an additional Q2 gaming chip on iQOO. Without comparable sustained-load testing, that chip is not enough to conclude that iQOO runs games faster, stays cooler or maintains performance longer. The OnePlus’s larger screen may be appealing for play, while iQOO’s higher rated charging speed may matter when you need to top up; neither point is a benchmark verdict.
Which phone should you buy?
- Buy the iQOO 15R for value if your checkout qualifies for the reported coupon and cashback, you want the larger stated battery and faster rated wired charging, and you are comfortable with OriginOS 6.
- Buy the OnePlus 15R if you prefer OxygenOS 16, value its larger 6.83-inch display, or do not qualify for the iQOO offer and the price gap narrows at checkout.
- Do not decide on camera or gaming claims alone without direct comparisons: the listed camera resolutions do not prove image quality, and the Q2 chip does not establish a sustained gaming lead.
The reported sale makes iQOO the stronger value proposition, not a universal winner. Compare the actual eligible checkout prices, then let screen size and software preference decide whether the OnePlus is worth paying more for.
