The OnePlus 15R is the easier phone to evaluate: OnePlus publishes its US specifications, including a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, 6.83-inch display and 7,400mAh typical-capacity battery. The 15T comparison is less settled. Available reporting describes a China launch, but an official 15T specification page and a current, like-for-like price in the same market have not been established here. Treat the reported $100 launch-price gap as historical context, not today’s price difference.
At a glance: what is verified
The comparison is not a complete spec-for-spec contest: the official OnePlus US page supplies a solid 15R baseline, while the 15T details below come from secondary reporting. “Unverified” means the cited material does not establish that specification; it does not mean the phone lacks the feature.

Which phone is available in your market?
Availability is the first practical filter, especially if you are considering importing a phone. TechRadar reported the 15T as a China launch and said an international release was in doubt when its article appeared. That report does not establish the phone’s status today or prove it is unavailable elsewhere. Check OnePlus’s official page for your country and reputable local sellers before comparing it with a US-market 15R.
A phone sold for another region may not be an equivalent purchase. Confirm the exact model and storage configuration, local network-band support, warranty coverage and whether the seller is an authorized channel. The available evidence does not establish these details for a 15T purchase in any particular market.

What is the price difference?
NanoReview’s comparison reports launch prices of $699 for the 15R and $799 for the 15T, a nominal $100 difference. Those are secondary-source launch-price figures, not verified current prices. The cited comparison does not establish that the prices refer to the same market, storage configuration or sales conditions. Use them as reported launch context only, not as a current buying comparison. NanoReview comparison
For a useful price comparison, check both phones in the same country, with the same storage capacity and the same purchase conditions. Compare the total cost, including any import charges or seller fees, rather than treating two dollar-denominated launch figures as directly equivalent.

How the verified 15R specifications shape the comparison
Display and performance
The 15R’s official US listing specifies a 6.83-inch, 2800 × 1272 display and Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform. It also lists 12GB LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage in 256GB or 512GB capacities. These figures describe the 15R; without a verified 15T spec sheet, they do not establish which phone has the faster processor, more memory or better display behavior.
Battery and charging
OnePlus lists the 15R battery’s typical capacity as 7,400mAh and wired charging at 55W SUPERVOOC. Capacity alone does not establish real-world battery life, and the evidence here does not provide a matched 15T battery or charging specification. If charging speed or endurance is decisive, compare official figures for the exact regional models rather than inferring from the 15T’s name or launch coverage.

Cameras
The 15R page identifies a 50MP Sony IMX906 main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. Megapixel counts do not settle overall camera quality, and no comparable 15T camera specification is established here. Consult the full official camera details for the 15R and a market-specific official 15T listing before choosing on photography.
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the 15R as the more evidence-backed option if it is officially sold in your market and its listed display, chipset, memory, storage and charging specifications suit you. Its current local price still needs checking.
- Consider the 15T only after confirming the exact regional model and checking its official specifications, local availability, warranty and current price. The evidence cited here is not enough to declare it the better-value or better-performing phone.
- Wait to compare if the decision depends on a specific 15T advantage, such as a camera, refresh rate or battery figure. Those details are unverified in the cited material, so a confident direct comparison would be misleading.
Check before buying
- Open the OnePlus site for your country and confirm whether each model is officially listed; the cited 15R specifications are for the US market.
- Match storage capacities and compare current local prices, not reported launch prices from different or unspecified markets.
- Verify the 15T’s specifications from an official regional product page before comparing display, chipset, memory, battery, charging or cameras.
- If buying from a third-party seller, confirm the exact model, network compatibility, warranty and total delivered cost.
OnePlus notes that product information can be revised as product specifications and other details change. Its current regional page is therefore the appropriate place to recheck 15R details before purchase. OnePlus 15R specifications
