The OnePlus 13T is not still “coming to India.” OnePlus launched the India model as the OnePlus 13s on June 5, 2025. It occupies the same compact-performance category as the China-market 13T, but buyers should compare the India-specific hardware, software, bands and warranty rather than assume every regional detail is identical.
The 13s starts at ₹54,999 for 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, with a 12GB/512GB version at ₹59,999. Its appeal is unusual: Snapdragon 8 Elite performance, a 5,850mAh battery and 80W charging in a 185g, 6.32-inch phone. The main compromise is camera versatility—the Indian model has no ultrawide camera.
OnePlus 13T and OnePlus 13s: are they the same phone?
The OnePlus 13T and OnePlus 13s target the same compact flagship segment and share the Snapdragon 8 Elite platform. Comparison listings place them on the same basic hardware foundation, but OnePlus has not presented the India model simply as a universal global rename. Regional software, network bands, battery ratings, cameras and support can differ.
In India, the official name is OnePlus 13s. The China-market 13T may use different software and update channels, Google-services configuration, network support, charger certification, eSIM availability and warranty terms. For Indian buyers, the India product page and model number CPH2723 are the authoritative references.

India launch status and current price
OnePlus announced and launched the 13s in India at an event on June 5, 2025, at 12 noon IST. It is therefore an existing India phone, not an upcoming release. OnePlus India lists these official prices:
| Variant | Official India price |
|---|---|
| 12GB RAM + 256GB | ₹54,999 |
| 12GB RAM + 512GB | ₹59,999 |
Colours listed for India are Green Silk, Pink Satin and Black Velvet. Check the official product page for stock and seller availability. An August 1–31, 2026 bank promotion showed an effective ₹46,749 price for the 256GB model after a ₹2,000 discount under specified conditions; that was a dated payment offer, not the standard price.
The 256GB model is the better value for most users. Choose 512GB if you record substantial 4K video, install large games or intend to keep the phone for several years, since storage cannot be expanded.

Why the compact design matters
At 71.7mm wide and 185g, the 13s is narrow and light for a Snapdragon 8 Elite phone. That makes one-handed typing, pocket carry and prolonged gaming more comfortable than on many 6.7–6.8-inch flagships.
“Compact” needs qualification: a 6.32-inch display is smaller than current large phones, not genuinely miniature. The flat panel is FHD+ rather than the sharper QHD+ screen used by the larger OnePlus 13, but LTPO’s 1–120Hz range, HDR support and 10-bit colour preserve flagship-level display features.

Performance, gaming and cooling
The Snapdragon 8 Elite, 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage provide ample headroom for demanding games, multitasking and long-term responsiveness. OnePlus claims 45% higher CPU performance, 40% higher GPU performance and 27% better efficiency than the previous generation; these are company comparisons, not independent benchmark results.

A 4,400mm² vapor chamber and a claimed 65% more efficient cooling layer are intended to manage heat in the smaller chassis. Compact phones have less physical room to dissipate heat, so sustained performance will still depend on game settings, ambient temperature, case use and software updates. No universal frame-rate or benchmark guarantee follows from the component list.
Battery life and charging
The 5,850mAh typical single-cell battery is the 13s’s strongest specification story: it is close to the 6,000mAh capacity of the larger OnePlus 13 while fitting a 185g body. OnePlus rates the battery at 5,700mAh in its specification notes and claims up to 20 hours in mixed-use scenarios. That figure comes from OnePlus testing; brightness, reception, gaming, camera use and software version will change real endurance.
80W SUPERVOOC charging is included. Wireless charging is not listed in the verified India specifications, so buyers who require it should consider another model.
Camera review on paper: strong basics, one important omission
The rear system combines a 50MP Sony LYT-700 main camera with optical and electronic stabilisation and a 50MP 2x optical telephoto. That is a useful setup for everyday photos, portraits and moderate zoom without relying only on a digital crop.

Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →The major compromise is the absence of an ultrawide camera. Landscapes, architecture, interiors and large group photos are less flexible, and the phone is not a complete flagship-camera system in the way the larger OnePlus 13 is. Rear video reaches 4K at 60fps; the 32MP autofocus selfie camera records up to 4K at 30fps and is a notable advantage for video calls and front-facing video.
OnePlus advertises 4K Dolby Vision and AI tools such as AI Detail Boost, AI Unblur, AI Reflection Eraser and AI Reframe. They are supported features, not independent evidence that the 13s will outperform every rival in image quality.

Software, Plus Key and support
The India model launched with OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15. Verify the installed version when buying, because the software will change through updates. The Plus Key can be assigned to AI Plus Mind, AI Translate, camera actions, Do Not Disturb, torch, recorder or screenshot functions. AI availability can vary by OxygenOS version, region, account settings and rollout schedule.
OnePlus’ India product page describes a lifetime display-warranty provision for eligible green-line cases during the parts-supply period. Eligibility and parts availability apply. The standard phone warranty is one year from delivery for purchases through oneplus.in, with exclusions including accidental damage, misuse and liquid exposure; see the warranty terms.
OnePlus 13T versus OnePlus 13s
| Area | OnePlus 13T China-market reference | OnePlus 13s India |
|---|---|---|
| Official name in India | Not released under this name | OnePlus 13s |
| India launch | None under the 13T name | June 5, 2025 |
| Display | Approximately 6.32 inches in comparison listings | 6.32-inch LTPO, 1–120Hz |
| Processor | Snapdragon 8 Elite | Snapdragon 8 Elite |
| Battery and charging | Regional specifications may differ | 5,850mAh typical; 80W |
| Rear cameras | Do not assume identical sensors | 50MP main + 50MP 2x telephoto; no ultrawide |
| Software | China-market software may differ | OxygenOS 15 at launch |
| Buying risk | Possible band, service and warranty differences | India warranty and network configuration |
An imported 13T can also have a different charger plug, Google-services setup, eSIM support, resale value and repair eligibility. Unless you knowingly accept those risks, the official 13s is the safer Indian purchase.
How it compares with other OnePlus phones
| Model | Official India price reference | Choose it when… |
|---|---|---|
| OnePlus 13s | ₹54,999 (12/256GB) | You want high-end performance and battery capacity in a narrow, lighter phone. |
| OnePlus 13 | Starts at ₹69,999 | You prefer a 6.82-inch QHD+ display, 6,000mAh battery and a more complete flagship camera system. |
| OnePlus 13R | From ₹42,999 in upgrade-term listings | You want a lower price and larger display, accepting a less powerful processor and different camera balance. |
For other compact Android flagships, compare width and weight, ultrawide and zoom coverage, sustained performance, charging, IP rating, wireless charging, update policy, repair costs and service network—not just processor names.
Should you buy the OnePlus 13s in 2026?
It makes sense if you:
- Want near-top-tier Android performance in a relatively light, narrow body.
- Prefer a 6.3-inch-class phone to a 6.7–6.8-inch flagship.
- Value a large battery and fast wired charging.
- Game, multitask or prioritise responsiveness over camera versatility.
- Want India-specific warranty, bands, NavIC and carrier support.
Reconsider it if you:
- Need an ultrawide camera for landscapes, interiors or group shots.
- Want the broadest zoom range or the most ambitious computational photography.
- Require a very large, high-resolution display or wireless charging.
- Are choosing an imported 13T without checking software, bands and warranty.
- Need a confirmed long-term update commitment that is not stated in the verified material here.
Optional protection and what is already in the box
The box includes a SUPERVOOC adapter, Type-A to Type-C cable and protective case, so an immediate charger purchase is unnecessary unless you need a spare or travel unit.
OnePlus lists optional India plans: OnePlus Care at ₹4,999 with two years of accidental-damage protection plus one additional warranty year; an extended-warranty plan at ₹799; and a screen-protection plan at ₹2,399. Coverage, claim limits and eligibility are governed by the plan terms at OnePlus Protection Service. These plans are optional, not required to use the phone.
The Bottom Line
The OnePlus 13s is the India-launched compact flagship that the old “OnePlus 13T coming to India” headline was trying to describe. At ₹54,999, it prioritises size, speed, battery and charging; its decisive weakness is the missing ultrawide camera. Buy the official 13s for India support, and treat imported 13T listings as region-specific devices rather than automatic equivalents.
