The OnePlus 13s and vivo X300 FE are nearly the same size, but their published specifications point to different strengths: OnePlus lists a Snapdragon 8 Elite and 5,850 mAh battery, while vivo lists a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, a 6,500 mAh typical battery and a three-camera rear system with 3x optical telephoto. Those figures do not prove which phone is faster, lasts longer or takes better photos. The price gap is also unsettled: the observed listings are not a like-for-like comparison.

What the price difference actually tells you
There is no reliable like-for-like price gap established by the available listings. vivo’s official India store displayed ₹94,999 for the X300 FE 12GB+256GB configuration, against a displayed MRP of ₹119,999, when accessed on 7 October 2026. That is a live listing, not a guaranteed continuing price. See the vivo India store.

Treat those as indicative observations, not a confirmed current price difference. Before choosing on price, compare both models on the same date and market, with matching RAM and storage, seller and warranty, and account for any bank or exchange offers. Check whether each number is an MRP, selling price or conditional offer.

Performance: compare platform names, not assumptions
OnePlus lists the Snapdragon 8 Elite; vivo lists the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. The model names identify different platforms, but they are not a substitute for comparable testing. The cited evidence does not establish a benchmark or gaming winner, particularly for sustained workloads where software, thermals and test conditions matter. If gaming or demanding apps are central to your decision, look for tests of both phones under the same conditions rather than inferring performance from the names alone.
Battery and charging: larger figures are not runtime tests
vivo states a 6,500 mAh typical capacity and 6,350 mAh rated/minimum capacity for the X300 FE; OnePlus lists 5,850 mAh for the 13s. The typical capacities differ by 650 mAh, but capacity alone cannot tell you how long either phone lasts. Screen use, network conditions, software and other factors affect runtime, and no comparable battery test is established here.
The manufacturers list 90W FlashCharge for vivo and 80W SUPERVOOC for OnePlus. Those are charging claims, not a controlled comparison of time to full. vivo says its maximum charging claim uses the original adapter and cable and that charging power varies with use. Check the included charger and regional bundle for the exact retail unit you plan to buy.
Camera choice: versatility versus proven image quality
vivo’s India launch information describes a 50MP ZEISS main camera using Sony IMX921, a 50MP ZEISS telephoto camera using Sony IMX882 with OIS and 3x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera with a 110-degree field of view. It also lists up to 100x digital zoom. These are manufacturer specifications and claims, not independent image-quality results. The documented three-camera setup gives the X300 FE more published focal-length variety; it does not establish that its photos or videos are better than the OnePlus 13s.
Rank #2
For distant subjects, vivo lists a compatible ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 for the X300 FE. It is sold separately, has a stated 200 mm equivalent focal length and weighs 153 g; it is not an in-box phone accessory. See vivo’s X300 FE launch page for its camera information and the extender details. Include the separate accessory cost in your decision if you need that setup.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Software and everyday handling
vivo’s parameter listing names Android 16 with OriginOS 6 for the X300 FE. The collected OnePlus product evidence does not establish the 13s’s current software version or either phone’s comparative update commitment. Verify both models’ current software and official update policies before making a long-term support decision.
On dimensions, the published measurements suggest very similar footprints. OnePlus lists 185 g, while vivo lists 191 g, a small difference that may matter if you are sensitive to weight but should not be mistaken for a major size distinction. The vivo parameter page says its box includes a case, applied protective film and USB power adapter; retailer or regional bundles can differ.
Quick Recap
Which one should you buy?
- Consider the OnePlus 13s if its verified price for your preferred configuration is more attractive and you want the listed Snapdragon 8 Elite platform. Confirm the current price, software version and support terms before purchase.
- Consider the vivo X300 FE if its three published rear cameras, including a 3x optical telephoto, fit your photography needs, or if its listed battery and charging capacities matter to you. Those specifications do not guarantee better photos or longer runtime.
- Choose by measured results when outcomes matter most. For gaming speed, battery endurance, charging time or camera quality, seek comparable tests of both exact models and software versions; the published specifications alone do not rank them.
- Compare the checkout totals, not isolated price claims. Match storage, seller, warranty and applicable offers, and include the cost of any separately purchased camera accessory.
