Choose the OnePlus 13s for a smaller, lighter phone
At 6.32 inches and 185 g, the OnePlus 13s is the more compact and lighter device on the listed specifications. OnePlus markets it as a compact phone. The Redmi’s 6.59-inch display and 204 g weight favor a larger viewing area, but make it the heavier, larger option.

Choose based on the kind of camera framing you use
The OnePlus 13s has a listed telephoto lens with up to 2× optical zoom, which may suit portraits or distant subjects. The Redmi’s 8 MP secondary rear camera is listed as ultrawide, a potentially useful fit for group shots, architecture or tight spaces. These are different lens roles, not proof that one phone takes better photos. Megapixel counts alone do not establish image quality.
Consider the battery figures as ratings, not a real-world verdict
The Redmi’s listed 7,540 mAh battery and 100 W charging rating exceed the OnePlus 13s’s official 5,850 mAh and 80 W figures. Capacity and rated wattage alone do not prove longer everyday battery life or shorter charging time: usage, software, temperature and charging conditions matter.
OnePlus publishes its own battery-test claims for the 13s. Its product page says the OnePlus Test Laboratory tested 10 commonly used apps and scenarios on April 26, 2025, in a 25 °C environment. The described scenarios include BGMI gaming at best quality and 120 FPS, 1080p/30 fps video capture, and Zoom video calls. These are manufacturer tests under stated conditions, not an independent head-to-head test against the Redmi.
Read the performance comparison with its test limits in mind
The listed processors are Snapdragon 8 Elite in the OnePlus and Dimensity 8500 Ultra in the Redmi. 91mobiles reports AnTuTu scores of 2,581,355 and 2,135,669 respectively, and Geekbench multi-core scores of 9,192 and 6,657. Those results favor the OnePlus in that comparison, but the underlying test date, software and setup are not established here. Benchmark scores vary with test version and conditions and do not guarantee a particular everyday experience.

91mobiles listed the OnePlus 13s at ₹54,999 and the Redmi Turbo 5 at ₹41,999, a displayed difference of ₹13,000 in favor of the Redmi. These are price snapshots rather than guaranteed current prices. Check the seller, stock, offers and exact variant at purchase; the price gap can change.
On those listed prices, the premium for the OnePlus buys the smaller, lighter format, a telephoto camera and stronger reported results in the cited benchmarks. The lower-listed Redmi price comes with a larger screen and higher battery-capacity and charging ratings on paper. The better value depends on which of those differences matters to you.
Check the Redmi’s regional specifications before relying on its ratings
The comparison page lists a broad set of Redmi water-resistance ratings—IP68, IP66, IP69K and IP69—and a 2 m/30 min claim. Those details have not been confirmed against an official Xiaomi listing for the relevant India-market SKU here. Do not treat them as a guarantee of protection or warranty coverage without checking the manufacturer’s official specifications and test conditions for the exact model sold in your region.
