Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteThe OnePlus 13R is the stronger on-paper choice if you prioritize its specified Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 platform and dedicated 2× optical-zoom camera. The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion stands out in India for its up-to-144 Hz display, 32 MP selfie camera, listed IP68/IP69 protection and included 68 W charger. The right choice depends on your regional model and the price of an in-stock phone: an India comparison-page snapshot showed the 13R out of stock, so its listed price is not a like-for-like current offer.

Performance: OnePlus has the clearer specification advantage
OnePlus specifies the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in the 13R, making it the more compelling pick on paper for demanding games and other processor-heavy use. Motorola’s India specification page does not name the Edge 70 Fusion chipset. TechRadar identifies the unit it reviewed as using a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 and reports Geekbench 6 multi-core averages in the 3,200–3,300 range for that tested phone. Those results describe TechRadar’s review unit; they should not be assumed to apply to every regional configuration.

A comparison site lists conflicting chipset information, so it is not a sound basis for identifying Motorola’s processor. Check the model and chipset listed by the manufacturer or seller for your market rather than inferring them from the phone name alone.
Display: 144 Hz versus LTPO
Motorola lists a higher maximum refresh rate: up to 144 Hz against the OnePlus 13R’s 120 Hz. OnePlus, however, specifies an LTPO 4.1 panel. Refresh-rate ceilings alone do not establish which screen looks better: they do not tell you brightness, color accuracy, outdoor readability or how smoothly a particular app runs. If screen quality is decisive, look for independent measurements of the exact regional models.
Cameras: choose the lens you will use
The OnePlus 13R’s 50 MP portrait camera with 2× optical zoom gives it a dedicated longer-range option for portraits and tighter framing. Motorola’s listed rear setup instead pairs its stabilized 50 MP main camera with a 13 MP ultra-wide camera; its 120° field of view is useful for fitting more into a shot. Motorola also lists a 32 MP front camera, while the cited OnePlus launch specifications do not state a front-camera resolution.

Megapixel counts and lens specifications do not determine image quality on their own. For low-light photos, motion, video and skin tones, compare independent sample photos and video tests taken with the precise versions you can buy.
Battery, charging and protection vary by region
OnePlus gives the 13R a 6,000 mAh typical battery rating; its specification page lists a 5,860 mAh rated capacity. Charging is listed at up to 80 W generally, with 55 W in North America. For Motorola, TechRadar reports Edge 70 Fusion battery versions of 7,000 mAh and 5,200 mAh, while Motorola India’s cited page lists a 68 W charger in the box but does not state battery capacity in the retrieved specifications. Do not compare battery size or charging bundles until you have confirmed the local SKU.
Motorola India lists IP68/IP69 and MIL-STD 810H claims; OnePlus’ launch announcement lists IP65 for the 13R. These ratings are not a promise that either phone is damage-proof. Review the manufacturer’s warranty terms for your market before treating water or dust resistance as protection against a particular accident.

Price difference: the available figure is an India snapshot, not a live quote
On the 91mobiles comparison page accessed October 5, 2026, the OnePlus 13R was listed at ₹37,900 and marked out of stock, while the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion was listed at ₹30,999. This third-party India snapshot does not establish a current, in-stock price difference: it is not a matched retailer offer for equivalent storage versions, and the 13R listing was unavailable. Check current local retailers for the same storage configuration before deciding on value. See the comparison-page snapshot.
Which one should you buy?
- Choose the OnePlus 13R if its Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 specification and dedicated 2× optical-zoom camera matter most, and you can find the configuration you want at a competitive in-stock price.
- Consider the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion if you value its listed 144 Hz display, 32 MP front camera, 68 W charger in the box and India-specific protection claims—and have confirmed the battery, processor and price for your region.
- For either phone, compare equivalent storage, the exact local SKU, warranty and service availability, and the software-support commitment. The cited sources do not establish a complete current update-support comparison, so they are not enough to name a winner for software longevity.
