The OnePlus 13 has the larger, sharper display, a higher-tier listed processor, more memory and storage options, a larger typical battery, and faster rated charging. The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE has a 6.7-inch FHD+ screen, 3× optical telephoto zoom, and a published seven-generation OS-upgrade and seven-year security-update commitment. Those are differences on paper; available specifications do not establish which phone lasts longer per charge, takes better photos, or performs better in everyday use.
Price is less straightforward: Samsung announced a US starting price of $699.99, while the OnePlus materials cited here do not establish a current selling price. This comparison uses North American OnePlus specifications and Samsung’s US announcement and store listing, so figures and availability may differ elsewhere.

Which screen is larger and sharper?
The OnePlus 13 has a 6.82-inch QHD+ panel with a listed resolution of 3168 × 1440 and a dynamic 1–120Hz refresh rate. The S26 FE has a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 60Hz or 120Hz refresh. The OnePlus is therefore larger and higher-resolution by the published figures, while its refresh specification also allows a lower listed minimum. These specifications do not by themselves establish perceived brightness, color accuracy, or overall display quality.

What do the processor and memory configurations tell you?
OnePlus lists the Snapdragon 8 Elite with 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X memory and 256GB or 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Samsung lists the Exynos 2500 with 8GB of memory and 128GB or 256GB of storage for the S26 FE. These are manufacturer-published configurations, not benchmark results: they do not prove which phone is faster in a particular app, stays cooler under sustained workloads, or handles games better.
How do the cameras differ?
Both phones have a 50MP main camera and a telephoto camera specified for 3× reach. OnePlus describes a triple 50MP rear system, including a 3× triprism telephoto; its North America specifications identify the main camera as a Sony LYT-808 with optical and electronic stabilization. Samsung lists a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization, a 12MP ultra-wide, and an 8MP telephoto with OIS and 3× optical zoom; its announcement also lists a 12MP front camera.
Camera resolution and lens descriptions are not a photo-quality verdict. The available product specifications do not establish which phone produces better photos or video across lighting conditions, subjects, or zoom levels.

OnePlus lists a typical dual-cell capacity of 6,000mAh; Samsung lists a typical capacity of 4,900mAh. The larger OnePlus figure is a capacity comparison, not a runtime test: it does not establish longer real-world battery life because usage, software, radios, display settings, and other factors affect endurance.
For rated charging, OnePlus lists 80W wired SUPERVOOC and 50W wireless AIRVOOC on its North America page. Samsung lists up to 45W wired and 15W wireless charging for the S26 FE. Samsung says the 45W adapter is sold separately and recommends Samsung-approved chargers and cables. Rated wattage alone does not establish how long a full charge takes under real conditions.

The cited OnePlus specifications list OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15. Samsung’s August 2026 US announcement lists Android 17 with One UI 9 and commits to seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates from global launch; timing can vary by model and provider. The cited OnePlus product materials do not state an equivalent update commitment, so they do not support a like-for-like support-duration comparison.
Samsung lists an IP68 water-resistance rating for the S26 FE. The cited OnePlus specification and launch materials do not state a corresponding rating. That omission should not be treated as proof that the OnePlus 13 lacks a particular protection level.

Samsung announced a US S26 FE starting price of $699.99 on August 27, 2026. It said availability would begin at select carriers on September 3, then through Samsung.com, carriers, and retailers nationwide on September 4. The OnePlus North America launch release is dated January 7, 2025, but it and the cited specifications page do not establish a current retail price. A current price difference cannot be calculated from these figures. To compare what you would actually pay, check both phones in the same market and at the same time, matching storage capacity, unlocked or carrier status, and discount basis.
Quick Recap
Which phone fits which priorities?
- Consider the OnePlus 13 if the published hardware specifications you prioritize are a larger, higher-resolution screen, a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, higher memory or storage configurations, a larger typical battery capacity, or higher rated charging speeds.
- Consider the Galaxy S26 FE if its 3× optical telephoto system, Samsung’s stated long-term update commitment, or its published US pricing and availability meet your needs.
- Compare them in person or consult comparable independent testing if your decision depends on camera results, battery runtime, sustained performance, or display quality; the manufacturer specifications here do not answer those questions.
