The OnePlus 12R stands out for its LTPO display and 100W wired charging; the Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus 5G is reported to add wireless charging, a larger battery and a dedicated telephoto camera. Neither phone is an automatic winner: the better fit depends on which features matter to you and the price of the exact variant in stock. This is an India-market comparison. Motorola pages may omit “5G” or render “Plus” as “+”.

What the specification differences mean
Display: adaptive refresh versus a higher stated rate
OnePlus specifies an LTPO panel with a dynamic 1–120 Hz refresh rate. That range allows the screen’s refresh behavior to vary; the Motorola’s reported 144 Hz figure is a higher stated maximum. Refresh-rate numbers alone do not establish which screen looks better overall, and the available specifications do not provide a comparative display test.

Cameras: more focal-length options on paper
The OnePlus combines a main camera with OIS, an ultrawide camera and a low-resolution macro camera. 91mobiles reports that the Motorola has a 50 MP telephoto camera with up to 3.5× optical zoom, alongside its main and ultrawide/macro cameras. That gives the Motorola more stated camera options for distant subjects, but megapixel counts and camera layouts cannot establish image quality without comparable photography tests.

Battery and charging: capacity is not runtime
The reported Motorola battery is 1,000 mAh larger, and it includes wireless charging in the 91mobiles listing. OnePlus specifies a higher wired charging rate, 100W versus Motorola’s reported 90W. These figures describe capacity and charging specifications, not measured battery life or charging time; actual results depend on use and testing conditions.
Performance, storage and software
The phones use different processor platforms, but chipset names alone do not prove which will perform better in everyday use. The listed configurations also differ: the OnePlus is available in 8/128 GB and 16/256 GB configurations, while 91mobiles lists the Motorola at 12/256 GB. Compare the same storage capacity and the actual variant being sold.
The software versions and update periods above reflect the cited listings, not a guarantee of current rollout status. Check each manufacturer’s current software policy and the update status for the specific handset before buying.
India prices and the price difference
There is no dependable fixed price gap in the cited listings: they show different price contexts, and the comparison does not establish a live, variant-matched transaction price for both phones.

- Choose the OnePlus 12R if an LTPO display and the stated 100W wired charging are priorities, or if its current price for your preferred configuration is lower.
- Consider the Motorola if wireless charging, a higher stated display refresh rate, a larger stated battery or a dedicated telephoto camera better fits your needs.
- For either phone, compare current prices for the same storage capacity and verify software support, seller, warranty and stock before deciding.
