The Motorola Edge 60 Pro offers a more flexible camera system, wireless charging and stated IP68/IP69 protection; the OnePlus 12R counters with a slightly larger LTPO display and faster wired charging. There is no reliable fixed price difference in the available India listings: the OnePlus was marked out of stock in one comparison, while the Motorola price was a retailer snapshot.

Which phone has the better cameras?
The Edge 60 Pro has the more versatile listed rear-camera hardware. Both phones specify a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization, but Motorola adds a 50 MP ultrawide and a 10 MP telephoto camera with 3× optical zoom. The 12R lists an 8 MP ultrawide and a 2 MP macro camera.

That makes Motorola’s specification sheet more useful for people who want an optical-zoom option or a higher-resolution ultrawide. Megapixel counts and camera layouts do not establish which phone takes better photos overall; that requires controlled image-quality testing.

How do their displays and performance compare?
The OnePlus 12R has the slightly larger listed display and specifies LTPO 4.0 with a dynamic 1–120 Hz refresh rate. Motorola lists a 6.7-inch, 120 Hz quad-curved panel. The available specifications do not establish a like-for-like brightness comparison, so Motorola’s stated peak figure should not be treated as proof that it is brighter in ordinary use.
The phones use different processor families: Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in the 12R and Dimensity 8350 Extreme in the Edge 60 Pro. One India-focused comparison page reported Geekbench multi-core results of 4,311 for the 12R and 4,759 for the Motorola, and AnTuTu results of 1,240,474 and 1,440,382, respectively. These are results reported by 91mobiles, not universal performance guarantees or a controlled independent comparison established by the manufacturer pages.
Memory and storage also differ. The cited OnePlus India page lists 8/128 GB and 16/256 GB configurations, while Motorola’s support page lists 8/256 GB and 12/256 GB. Confirm the exact regional configuration before comparing prices or assuming a particular option is available.

Motorola lists the larger nominal battery: 6,000 mAh versus 5,500 mAh typical capacity for OnePlus. The 12R has the higher listed wired charging rate at 100 W; the Edge 60 Pro lists 90 W wired charging, 15 W wireless charging and 5 W reverse wired charging. The OnePlus specifications page does not list wireless charging.
Capacity and peak charging wattage are not guarantees of battery life or charging time. A 91mobiles comparison listing reported PCMark battery results of 20 hours for the 12R and 8 hours 27 minutes for the Edge 60 Pro, but the test conditions and firmware were not established in the cited official material. Do not read those figures as expected real-world endurance.

Durability, weight and software support
At the listed weights, the Edge 60 Pro is 186 g and the 12R is 207 g. Motorola states IP68 and IP69 protection and MIL-STD-810H certification for the Edge 60 Pro; those ratings are not a promise that every exposure or type of damage is covered. Check the manufacturer’s qualifications and warranty terms.
OnePlus specifies Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front and an aluminum frame, and lists a case and pre-applied screen protector in the box. Motorola lists Gorilla Glass 7i. Box contents can vary by market, so check the local product listing.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsThe cited OnePlus specification page describes OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14 and promises at least three Android OS generations and four years of security updates from launch. Motorola’s support page currently lists Android 16 for the Edge 60 Pro and three OS upgrades plus four years of security maintenance releases. These statements do not mean the two phones have identical support end dates: their launch dates differ, and the Motorola page’s current Android version is not its original launch version. Software versions and support details can change.
OnePlus 12R vs Motorola Edge 60 Pro price in India
A definitive current price difference cannot be calculated from the available listings because they do not provide a matched, in-stock checkout comparison for the same date and configuration.
| Listing | Price or promotion shown | What it represents |
|---|---|---|
| OnePlus India | ₹39,999 for 8/128 GB; ₹45,999 for 16/256 GB | Listed MRP on the specifications page, not a confirmed current checkout price |
| 91mobiles comparison listing | ₹34,999 for OnePlus 12R; ₹30,190 for Motorola Edge 60 Pro via Amazon | Price snapshot accessed in 2026; the 12R was marked out of stock, so the two figures are not a like-for-like live offer |
| Motorola India product page | ₹2,000 instant discount | Conditional offer on selected bank credit cards for the 12/256 GB configuration, subject to terms; the accessible page did not show a stable base price |

Quick Recap
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the OnePlus 12R if the larger LTPO display, 100 W wired charging or Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 platform is the priority. Its cited India listing also includes a case and pre-applied screen protector in the box.
- Choose the Motorola Edge 60 Pro if you value a listed 3× optical telephoto, a higher-resolution ultrawide, wireless charging, the larger stated battery or its stated IP68/IP69 protection.
- Compare the exact offers before buying if price is the deciding factor. The available India snapshots do not establish a dependable current price gap.
