The game is announced for release on October 23, 2026, so any list claiming guaranteed FPS gains, exact presets, or a tested “best” configuration is premature. Once the PC version is available, use the gradual, one-change-at-a-time method below; console and mobile versions may expose entirely different controls.
What is confirmed before launch
As of October 13, 2026, ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet has not been released. The publisher announces October 23, 2026 as the release date and describes the title as a single-player restaurant-management simulation developed by Kairosoft. The official product page lists Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PC through Steam, the App Store and Google Play as platforms, along with a physical standard edition. You can verify the announcement on Bandai Namco’s official product page.

The product description mentions more than 400 ONE PIECE characters and more than 200 furniture, building and decorative items. Those are content counts, not evidence of a particular frame rate, graphics workload or recommended setting. No current official page publishes a Grand Gourmet graphics menu, a performance mode, minimum or recommended PC specifications, a frame-rate target, or benchmark measurements. Nintendo’s listing confirms the Switch product but does not establish a universal set of adjustable performance options; see the official Nintendo listing.

That distinction matters. A setting may exist on Steam but not on a console, or a mobile build may use automatic quality scaling instead of a visible menu. Until the released builds document their controls, treat every setting name and every claimed performance gain as unconfirmed.

Why there is no universal “best settings” preset yet
Performance depends on the build, operating system, driver, hardware, display and the game’s own renderer. A Switch version can be tuned by the developer without exposing the same switches available on PC. A phone may change quality in response to temperature or battery state, while a desktop PC may present separate controls for shadows, effects and anti-aliasing. Even two PC systems with similar specifications can behave differently because of drivers, background load or a different window mode.
The safest target is therefore not a copied preset but a repeatable process. Start with the game’s default configuration, identify the actual symptom, change one demanding option in a small step, and test the same activity again. Riot Games’ general Windows and Mac guidance makes the same point: setting names vary by game, so adjust gradually and test after each change. Its guidance is not a Grand Gourmet test or a prediction of the game’s eventual menu; it is a general troubleshooting method documented at Riot Games Support.
PC: a safe tuning workflow for launch day
1. Establish a baseline before changing anything
Launch the released PC build with its default settings and play a repeatable section for several minutes. Use the same restaurant area, camera movement and workload when comparing changes. Record what you actually observe: a consistently low frame rate, brief stutter when an effect appears, hitching while loading, or slowdown after a long session. Do not treat a single pause during first launch as proof that a graphics option is wrong; initial asset preparation can behave differently from normal play.

Also note whether the problem is visual, input-related or network-related. Grand Gourmet is announced as a single-player game, so an apparent “lag” symptom is more likely to be rendering, loading or system scheduling than an online connection issue. That does not identify the cause by itself; it simply keeps you from changing unrelated settings.
2. Lower the most demanding category first
Only use an option if the released build exposes a comparable control. Change one category at a time and make a small reduction:
- Shadows: reduce shadow quality or distance if available. Shadow calculations can be expensive, especially when many objects are visible.
- Effects or particles: lower effects quality when busy scenes, animations or decorative effects coincide with stutter.
- Post-processing: reduce post-processing quality if the menu groups screen-space effects, bloom or similar processing together.
- Detail or overall quality: move the quality level down one step rather than jumping straight to the lowest option.
- Anti-aliasing: select a less demanding anti-aliasing method if the game offers more than one.
- Texture quality: reduce textures only when memory pressure or hitching suggests that the current texture setting is too demanding for the graphics processor’s available memory.
These categories are examples of common PC controls, not a confirmation that Grand Gourmet contains them. If a label is absent, skip it. Do not create an equivalent through a configuration file unless the developer documents that method; an unofficial edit can be overwritten by an update or prevent the game from starting.

3. Test after every individual change
Apply one change, return to the same test area and repeat the same camera movement or restaurant activity. If the result improves, keep that change and move to the next category only if necessary. If it does not, restore the previous value before testing another option. This preserves a clear cause-and-effect record and prevents a group of simultaneous changes from hiding which one helped.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
When an option affects image quality more than smoothness, compare a still scene and active play. Textures, for example, may look softer without fixing a CPU-limited slowdown. Conversely, lowering shadows may make a measurable difference while leaving character and furniture detail unchanged. The correct compromise is the highest quality that remains stable during your normal workload, not automatically the lowest preset.
4. Keep a recovery path
Write down the original values or use the game’s reset-to-default command before experimenting. If a change causes flashing, missing surfaces, severe blur or a crash, restore the last known configuration. If the title will not reach its menu, use the platform’s documented reset or verification process rather than deleting files at random. A post-launch support page or patch note is the appropriate authority for any configuration-file repair; no Grand Gourmet-specific recovery command is confirmed yet.

5. Separate frame-rate problems from loading hitches
A sustained slowdown during active play and a short pause while entering a new area are different symptoms. Start with quality controls for sustained rendering problems. For intermittent loading hitches, changing every visual option may do nothing, because the cause could be asset streaming, storage activity or shader preparation. The released PC documentation and patch notes will be needed to identify those cases; this guide cannot assign an unverified cause.
Windows 11: check which GPU the game uses
Desktop and laptop PCs with integrated and discrete graphics processors can assign a per-app graphics preference in Windows 11. Microsoft documents this as a Windows feature, not as a guaranteed Grand Gourmet fix. If the game is using the less capable processor, choosing a different preference may help; if it is already using the intended processor, changing the preference will not solve every performance problem.
- Open Windows 11 Settings and go to System, Display, then Graphics.
- Find the installed Grand Gourmet executable in the app list. If it is not listed, use the option to add a desktop app and browse to the game’s executable.
- Open the app’s Options and review the available GPU preference, such as the system default or a high-performance processor.
- Save the selection, fully close the game and launch it again before comparing behavior.
Labels and available choices can differ by Windows build and hardware. Microsoft’s explanation of this per-app setting and its interaction with windowed games is available at Microsoft Support. Do not describe this as a confirmed optimization for Grand Gourmet until the released game has been tested on the affected system.

What to expect on each announced platform
Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2
The announcement covers both Nintendo Switch generations, but the available controls, resolution behavior and performance targets have not been published. Do not assume that a PC-style graphics menu, a selectable frame-rate cap or a “performance mode” will appear. If the game provides an in-game display or performance option after launch, use the exact labels shown on your console and follow the developer’s instructions. Otherwise, there is no supported setting list to change in advance.
PC through Steam
The Steam build is the platform most likely to expose adjustable quality settings, but “most likely” is not confirmation. Wait for the released menu and any official system-requirement information. Then apply the one-change workflow above, recording the original values and testing each adjustment in the same scene. Avoid copying a preset made for another game or for a different build.
iPhone, iPad and Android
The App Store and Google Play versions may use a compact settings menu or automatic quality management rather than the full PC control set. No current official listing establishes exact mobile options, supported refresh rates, thermal limits or resolution controls. Do not apply PC instructions such as anti-aliasing or texture presets unless the mobile build visibly provides those controls.
Symptom-based troubleshooting once the game is available
| Observed symptom | First check | What not to assume |
|---|---|---|
| Low performance throughout normal play | Lower one available quality category, beginning with shadows, effects or overall detail, then retest the same scene. | Do not assume a specific FPS target or that the lowest preset is required. |
| Brief stutter when entering an area | Repeat the transition and see whether the hitch is consistent; compare only one setting at a time. | Do not assume every hitch is caused by texture quality or internet access. |
| Performance worsens after a long session | Stop and compare behavior after the device returns to normal operating conditions. | Do not infer a confirmed thermal limit without platform-specific documentation. |
| Game appears to use the wrong GPU on Windows 11 | Review the per-app graphics preference in Windows 11 and relaunch. | The Windows preference is not a guaranteed game-specific fix. |
| Image looks blurry after tuning | Restore the last change, then test a different category at its prior value. | Do not lower every option at once and lose track of the cause. |
Common mistakes to avoid
- Using pre-release “best settings” videos as proof: before October 23, 2026, there is no released build on which a creator can establish a reliable Grand Gourmet preset.
- Confusing content scale with performance evidence: the announced character and item counts describe what is included, not how many frames a particular device will render.
- Assuming platform parity: a control found in a Steam screenshot would not prove that the Switch, Switch 2, iOS or Android versions expose it.
- Changing several variables at once: you cannot identify the useful adjustment or restore a balanced image when all values change together.
- Promising a numeric gain: no authoritative benchmark or named performance statistic is available, so exact FPS improvements would be invented.
Launch-day checklist
- Confirm that the game has actually released for your platform; the announced date is October 23, 2026.
- Read the released graphics menu and system requirements instead of relying on a list written before launch.
- Run the default configuration through a repeatable section and write down the symptom.
- Change one exposed option by one step, test the same section and keep or revert it.
- On a Windows 11 multi-GPU system, check the per-app graphics preference and relaunch.
- Record the final values so an update or troubleshooting reset does not erase your working configuration.
Until official post-launch documentation supplies actual menu labels and measurements, this process is the most defensible way to improve performance without pretending that untested Grand Gourmet settings or FPS results are known.
